Last few days at the hostel were full of activities & bookings, the hostel crew and volunteers were running the day to day tasks - gardening, building, general purchasing, working on different online & offline information and bookings platforms, attending guests, cleaning and maintenance. While performing the daily errands, we are always focused on taking the project forward towards its final goal; the vision of a clean and professional hostel providing free services. * Completed Tasks * 10 Free beds in a cosy dormitory with bed-sheet and blanket. Facility of meals with the hostel with a nominal contribution. A common room to receive everyone for creating, eating, chilling & sharing. Laundry and clothes drying area Small herb garden * To do / Needs help * Vegetable garden. Laundry area to be equipped with a washing machine. For quiet circumstances, a discussion room with desks will welcome freelancers, coworkers meetings and workers of all kind. Makers space with painting, sculpture & carpentry. The present day picture of NO NAME Free Hostel, the essence of positivity in the property, the constructive conversations & feedbacks are possible thanks to every contribution that has arrived since the start of the crowdfunding campaign; All of them create a strong base of our motivation to carry the project towards the final goal. The Goa project requires 9,300 Euros to fulfil the dream and sustain it for 1 year. From the start of the crowdfunding campaign a total of 1,244 Euros has been raised by 29 contributors in 2 months. We are thankful for the contribution and also for the trust shown in the strength of manifesting a dream with togetherness. * How would we sustain the project? * This is probably the most asked question to us, and yes, we find it a little tough - just to explain it on practical grounds. But, our confidence is our belief that it is possible for the world to sustain this. A little efforts and contribution from a few can manifest a home away from home for everybody who crosses. The hostel wants itself a platform for meeting, sharing and learning with people from the Earth. Travellers are the vehicles of experiences and ideas, and we want to gather this information and share it to the largest number. We exist to facilitate the spread of ideas among these travellers and beyond them, beyond us. The hostel is an open idea, manifesting this would make it feel like home to the artists, musicians, readers, thinkers and writers and would serve as a base collaborative art and meetings. Each contribution is helping the hostel realise itself, get better infrastructure to make it more organised and comfortable for the guests, pay rent instalments and cover daily running costs. We are very excited for the project and living in this house is just wonderful. There is just so much to know and learn everyday when the world starts to live together.
