Julie and Julia: a Heartwarming and Inspiring Movie

Ko Phi Phi

Julie and Julia is a United States comedy-drama released in 2009. The film was written and directed by Nora Ephron. The film describes the events in the life of Julia Child chef in her early years in her culinary career, in contrast to the life of Julie Powell who attempted to cook all the recipes in Julia Child's book for a year and she also wrote down her cooking experience in her blog Which makes her a writer.
Created based on two true stories, the film tells the story of two female characters in the cooking world, Julia Child and Julie Powell. Julia Child (Meryl Streep) is a famous chef in America, her career began in the 1950s when she attended cooking school in Paris until she finally published a successful cookbook in the United States, entitled Mastering The Art of French Cooking. Julie Powell (Amy Adams) is an office employee who decides to release stress from her job by cooking 524 recipes in Julia Child's book within a year and documenting it in a blog.
A nice, heartwarming, and inspiring movie indeed. Especially for those who like to cook or who want to cook, (or who likes to watch Master Chef!), This movie is interesting and inspiring. The story of Julie Powell and Julia Child is shown alternately in this film. The one setting is in America, around the 2000s, and the other in Paris, in the 1950s.
This film is lifted from the true story of Julie Powell is poured in the novel, Julie & Julia. At first watching, this movie is very tempting (literally) because the foods that exist in this movie looks so tasty and yummy. Overall, this movie really helped by the presence of Maryl Streep. Naturally, she won The Best Comedy / Musical Actress at the Golden Globe Award for this movie. Anyway, Bon Appetit! Oops, I mean Happy Watching!

Benefits of Watching Ratatouille

Ko Phi Phi

The Ratatouille film tells of a rat named Remy (Patton Oswalt) who dreams of being a great cook. Although it contradicts the expectations of his family and the real problem that a rat is a rodent feared by a chef.
When fate placed Remy in the sewer in Paris, she found herself under a famous restaurant for her chef, Auguste Gusteau. Remy's craving for cooking inadvertently slowly began to materialise through a garbage man who had just been received at the restaurant called Linguini (Lou Romano).
The benefit we can get from this movie is the courage of Remy to realise her dream of becoming a great cook. Remy is just a rat but has big ambitions to develop her skills to become a renowned chef. Although he was separated from his parents, despite his disgusting animal condition, he still dared to prove and develop his skills. So whatever our condition, wherever we come from, no matter what our looks are, and whatever our background, we certainly have unexpected skills that we can develop. And only courage can make it happen.

Koh Tao

Kate is a person who always wants everything to run perfectly, not least on all the delicious food she made. On the other hand, Kate really does not like having to leave the kitchen when there are customers who want to meet and praise her for the food she makes, but Kate is always ready to leave the kitchen immediately when there are customers insulting her cooking. Kate is also someone who can not appreciate others. She also often intimidates the people around her.
Kate has a perfectionist personality, she is also a person who can't appreciate others, especially people who have a personality contrary to her. All of these behaviours and Kate's personality were obtained because of the pressures of her past which she buried. Although the film is a romantic comedy genre, the contents of this film not only tells about romance and comedic elements only. This film also displayed a psychological element that is packed with a simple and very interesting method.
