Friday Night Videos
Friday Night Videos (later becoming Friday Night and then Late Friday) is an American music video show that broadcast on NBC from July 29, 1983 to May 24, 2002. It was the network's attempt to capitalize on the emerging popularity of music videos as seen on MTV.Belinda Carlisle was the guest host for the first episode.
History
Early years
Friday Night Videos was initially produced by Dick Ebersol. From 1974 until 1981, in his role as Director of Late Night Programming at NBC, he co-produced The Midnight Special with that series' creator Burt Sugarman. Ebersol departed from The Midnight Special in 1981 to take over as the executive producer at his co-creation with Lorne Michaels, Saturday Night Live. Ebersol replaced Jean Doumanian, who had been promoted from associate producer when Michaels left to take a job at Paramount Pictures and who had dealt with various problems during her tenure, including an instance where Charles Rocket said the expletive "fuck" on air during a live broadcast which resulted in his termination.

First and Third Trinity Boat Club
The First and Third Trinity Boat Club is the rowing club of Trinity College in Cambridge, England. The club formally came into existence in 1946 when the First Trinity Boat Club and the Third Trinity Boat Club merged, although the 2 clubs had been rowing together for several years before that date. The first boat club associated with Trinity was formed in 1825 and came to be known as First Trinity in 1833 when the Third Trinity Boat Club was formed (a Second Trinity Boat Club was formed in 1831 but did not have a continuous existence until 1840). Membership of Third Trinity was originally confined to Old Etonians and Old Westminsters. Members of Third Trinity were allowed also to be members of First or Second Trinity and often were.
The boat club also gives its name to Trinity college's May Ball, which is the oldest such event in Cambridge and originates from the club's celebrations after the victories in the May Bumps.
History
In the nineteenth century the various Trinity boat clubs were very strong and regularly won events in Cambridge, at various regattas around the country, notably the Henley Royal Regatta, and regularly contributed rowers to the Cambridge boat for the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. Indeed, in the 1849 Boat Race, all members of the crew were from Trinity, seven from Third Trinity and two, the cox included, from First Trinity. Boats from the three clubs could often be found at, or near, the top of the Bumps and they sometimes combined their resources in races against the rest of the University.

Late Night with Seth Meyers
Late Night with Seth Meyers is an American late-night talk show hosted by Seth Meyers on NBC. The show premiered on February 24, 2014 and is produced by Broadway Video and Universal Television. It is the fourth incarnation of NBC's long-running Late Night franchise. The show also stars bandleader Fred Armisen and the 8-G Band, the show's house band. Late Night is produced by former Saturday Night Live producer Mike Shoemaker and executive-produced by Lorne Michaels. The show records from Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
The program airs Monday through Thursday nights at 12:37 a.m. ET/PT. The show opens with Meyers' topical monologue, which he delivers from his desk. The program also contains comedy bits, sketches, interviews with a myriad of guests, and occasionally a musical or comedy performance. The show attracts an average of 1.5 million viewers nightly.
Format
The show opens with Ron McClary proclaiming "From 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, it's Late Night with Seth Meyers!" and announcing that night’s guests and The 8G Band with Fred Armisen, or guest musicians, including Jeremy Gara, Jon Theodore, Chad Smith, etc. Ron introduces Seth with "Ladies and gentlemen, Seth Meyers." Previously, the introduction to Seth was "And now here he is, Seth Meyers!". Meyers performs a monologue from his desk based around recent news, punctuating jokes with on-screen images and video. For the first year and a half of the program, Meyers performed a traditional stand-up monologue, before changing to a format he felt more comfortable in. His opening monologue has been described as reminiscent of his tenure hosting the Weekend Update segment of Saturday Night Live. The show's guests often include celebrities and actors, literary figures, people in fashion, artists, athletes, and politicians.

There's just something magical about having your wedding on an island farm overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. At least that was our feeling as we travelled aboard the Woods Hole ferry with Martha's Vineyard on the horizon. We arrived late Friday night, exhausted, after nearly 12 hours of traveling. Thankfully, we had all of Saturday to relax and explore the island. Needless to say, this included New England Clam Chowder, fish and chips and some Boston lager, among other things. At one point, we found ourselves on the deck of the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. We just sat there, in our rocking chairs watching the boats in the harbor for what must have been an hour. There's just something magical about having your wedding on an island farm overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. At least that was our feeling as we travelled aboard the Woods Hole ferry with Martha's Vineyard on the horizon. We arrived late Friday night, exhausted, after nearly 12 hours of traveling. Thankfully, we had all of Saturday to relax and explore the island. Needless to say, this included New England Clam Chowder, fish and chips and some Boston lager, among other things. At one point, we found ourselves on the deck of the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. We just sat there, in our rocking chairs watching the boats in the harbor for what must have been an hour. Perfection.

The original DV footage was recorded in Paris at the Place Charles de Gaulle (aka Place de l'Étoile) from the top of the Arc de Triomphe that offers a bird’s-eye view to the exceptionally busy roundabout below in which the Arc stands.
The soundtrack was composed and performed in November 2009 especially for this video piece by the amazing Mercury Quartet http://www.mercuryquartet.com. (Sound starts slowly after 1 minute 29 seconds)

There's just something magical about having your wedding on an island farm overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. At least that was our feeling as we travelled aboard the Woods Hole ferry with Martha's Vineyard on the horizon. We arrived late Friday night, exhausted, after nearly 12 hours of traveling. Thankfully, we had all of Saturday to relax and explore the island. Needless to say, this included New England Clam Chowder, fish and chips and some Boston lager, among other things. At one point, we found ourselves on the deck of the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. We just sat there, in our rocking chairs watching the boats in the harbor for what must have been an hour. Perfection.
