The City of Mountain View began as stagecoach stop on the route connecting the Port of San Francisco and the new State Capitol in San Jose. Covered in lush orchards and magnificent vineyards the town became an agricultural boomtown in the late 1800's. The town was incorporated in 1902 with a population of 611. Post World War II, the City's population exploded with the growth of the electronic and aerospace industries but Mountain View remained predominantly agricultural through the 1940's, 1950's, and the 1960's. Contemporary Mountain View has seen itself transformed from an agricultural-focused town into a high-tech center located in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Today the City of Mountain View covers 12 square miles and is home to just under 74,000 residents. Located 10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco. Mountain View is perfectly situated between the Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco Bay. San Jose International Airport is located 11 miles to the south, and San Francisco International Airport is located 25 miles to the north.

For some unknown reason, there are freeze frames at the beginning of all of the songs from this video. That flaw aside, this is still the best video I’ve seen from the reunion tour, seeing as the Nashville show is skippy, and the two audience videos I have from Philadelphia and Jones Beach are low-quality (I will be sharing at least portions of them though). This video is also pretty rare and not nearly as commonly sold/traded/shared as the Nashville one, so enjoy!

Mountain View is a city located in Santa Clara County, California, United States, named for its views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. From its origins as a stagecoach stop, it grew to a large suburb with a pedestrian-friendly downtown, free wi-fi, and a population of 74,066. The city borders Palo Alto and the San Francisco Bay to the north, Los Altos to the south, and Moffett Federal Airfield and Sunnyvale to the east.Situated in the southern end of the San Francisco Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mountain View is home to many high technology companies. In 1956, Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory, the first company to develop silicon semiconductor devices in what came to be known as Silicon Valley, was established in the city by William Shockley. Today, many of the largest technology companies in the world are headquartered in the city, including Google, Mozilla Foundation, Symantec, and Intuit. The original Byte Shop computer store was opened at 1063 El Camino Real, Mountain View by Paul Terrell, and the first 50 Apple I computers were sold from that location. The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority integrates the city with the neighboring cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Sunnyvale.

Above LA is a love letter to Los Angeles and showcases my favorite way to view the city - from above. Whether on a rooftop, a hill, or a mountain, getting above the grind of the city allows you to appreciate it in a new way. Once you get even slightly above, the views and sounds begin to change dramatically.
Getting above it all has been instrumental in helping me get to know and appreciate Los Angeles. This piece was produced off and on over the course of two years, and the clips selected for this film are only a small percentage of what I captured during my quest to take in the city from different locations and in new ways. Some of the locations featured are popular and easy to access, others require some searching and hiking, and some are heavily restricted. But I encourage everyone - lifelong Angelenos, transplants, visitors - to hit the trails, drive the mountain roads, find a reason to get on top of a high-rise. From the basin to the valley, this city offers so many opportunities to rise above and look down. Never stop exploring.

It is the most populous U.S. state, with 39 million people, and the third largest state by area (after Alaska and Texas). Alta California became a part of Mexico in 1821 following its successful war for independence, but was ceded to the United States in 1848 after the Mexican–American War. The western portion of Alta California was organized as the State of California, which was admitted as the 31st state on September 9, 1850. The California Gold Rush starting in 1848 led to dramatic social and demographic change, with large-scale immigration from the east and abroad with an accompanying economic boom.

San Francisco
San Francisco (/sæn frənˈsɪskoʊ/), officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the cultural, commercial, and financial center of Northern California and the only consolidated city-county in California. The City of Mountain View began as stagecoach stop on the route connecting the Port of San Francisco and the new State Capitol in San Jose. Covered in lush orchards and magnificent vineyards the town became an agricultural boomtown in the late 1800's. The town was incorporated in 1902 with a population of 611. Post World War II, the City's population exploded with the growth of the electronic and aerospace industries but Mountain View remained predominantly agricultural through the 1940's, 1950's, and the 1960's. Contemporary Mountain View has seen itself transformed from an agricultural-focused town into a high-tech center located in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Today the City of Mountain View covers 12 square miles and is home to just under 74,000 residents. Located 10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco. Mountain View is perfectly situated between the Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco Bay. San Jose International Airport is located 11 miles to the south, and San Francisco International Airport is located 25 miles to the north. -

For some unknown reason, there are freeze frames at the beginning of all of the songs from this video. Mountain View is a city located in Santa Clara County, California, United States, named for its views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. My personal tribute to the beautiful city of San Diego (California, USA), where I've had the pleasure to live for almost 15 years. All the scenes in this video were captured around sunrise over a period of four months, from August to November of 2014. Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. More succinct guidelines were widely publicized later that year, including the "Know Before You Fly" educational campaign at www.knowbeforeyoufly.org that started in December 2014. The City of Mountain View began as stagecoach stop on the route connecting the Port of San Francisco and the new State Capitol in San Jose. Covered in lush orchards and magnificent vineyards the town became an agricultural boomtown in the late 1800's. The town was incorporated in 1902 with a population of 611. Post World War II, the City's population exploded with the growth of the electronic and aerospace industries but Mountain View remained predominantly agricultural through the 1940's, 1950's, and the 1960's. Contemporary Mountain View has seen itself transformed from an agricultural-focused town into a high-tech center located in the heart of the Silicon Valley. For some unknown reason, there are freeze frames at the beginning of all of the songs from this video. That flaw aside, this is still the best video I’ve seen from the reunion tour, seeing as the Nashville show is skippy, and the two audience videos I have from Philadelphia and Jones Beach are low-quality (I will be sharing at least portions of them though). Good Morning, San Diego!
My personal tribute to the beautiful city of San Diego (California, USA), where I've had the pleasure to live for almost 15 years. All the scenes in this video were captured around sunrise over a period of four months, from August to November of 2014. Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. For some unknown reason, there are freeze frames at the beginning of all of the songs from this video. That flaw aside, this is still the best video I’ve seen from the reunion tour, seeing as the Nashville show is skippy, and the two audience videos I have from Philadelphia and Jones Beach are low-quality (I will be sharing at least portions of them though). This video is also pretty rare and not nearly as commonly sold/traded/shared as the Nashville one, so enjoy!

Above LA is a love letter to Los Angeles and showcases my favorite way to view the city - from above. Whether on a rooftop, a hill, or a mountain, getting above the grind of the city allows you to appreciate it in a new way. Once you get even slightly above, the views and sounds begin to change dramatically.
Getting above it all has been instrumental in helping me get to know and appreciate Los Angeles. This piece was produced off and on over the course of two years, and the clips selected for this film are only a small percentage of what I captured during my quest to take in the city from different locations and in new ways. Some of the locations featured are popular and easy to access, others require some searching and hiking, and some are heavily restricted. But I encourage everyone - lifelong Angelenos, transplants, visitors - to hit the trails, drive the mountain roads, find a reason to get on top of a high-rise. From the basin to the valley, this city offers so many opportunities to rise above and look down. Never stop exploring.

My personal tribute to the beautiful city of San Diego (California, USA), where I've had the pleasure to live for almost 15 years. All the scenes in this video were captured around sunrise over a period of four months, from August to November of 2014. Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. More succinct guidelines were widely publicized later that year, including the "Know Before You Fly" educational campaign at www.knowbeforeyoufly.org that started in December 2014. 2010 The Animation Workshop
My Bachelorfilm from The Animation Workshop. Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals.
It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure.

The City of Mountain View began as stagecoach stop on the route connecting the Port of San Francisco and the new State Capitol in San Jose. Covered in lush orchards and magnificent vineyards the town became an agricultural boomtown in the late 1800's. The town was incorporated in 1902 with a population of 611. Good Morning, San Diego!
My personal tribute to the beautiful city of San Diego (California, USA), where I've had the pleasure to live for almost 15 years. All the scenes in this video were captured around sunrise over a period of four months, from August to November of 2014. Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. Post World War II, the City's population exploded with the growth of the electronic and aerospace industries but Mountain View remained predominantly agricultural through the 1940's, 1950's, and the 1960's. Contemporary Mountain View has seen itself transformed from an agricultural-focused town into a high-tech center located in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Today the City of Mountain View covers 12 square miles and is home to just under 74,000 residents. Located 10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco. Mountain View is perfectly situated between the Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco Bay. San Jose International Airport is located 11 miles to the south, and San Francisco International Airport is located 25 miles to the north.

For some unknown reason, there are freeze frames at the beginning of all of the songs from this video. That flaw aside, this is still the best video I’ve seen from the reunion tour, seeing as the Nashville show is skippy, and the two audience videos I have from Philadelphia and Jones Beach are low-quality (I will be sharing at least portions of them though). This video is also pretty rare and not nearly as commonly sold/traded/shared as the Nashville one, so enjoy!

Above LA is a love letter to Los Angeles and showcases my favorite way to view the city - from above. Whether on a rooftop, a hill, or a mountain, getting above the grind of the city allows you to appreciate it in a new way. Once you get even slightly above, the views and sounds begin to change dramatically.
Getting above it all has been instrumental in helping me get to know and appreciate Los Angeles. This piece was produced off and on over the course of two years, and the clips selected for this film are only a small percentage of what I captured during my quest to take in the city from different locations and in new ways. Some of the locations featured are popular and easy to access, others require some searching and hiking, and some are heavily restricted. But I encourage everyone - lifelong Angelenos, transplants, visitors - to hit the trails, drive the mountain roads, find a reason to get on top of a high-rise. From the basin to the valley, this city offers so many opportunities to rise above and look down. Never stop exploring.

My personal tribute to the beautiful city of San Diego (California, USA), where I've had the pleasure to live for almost 15 years. All the scenes in this video were captured around sunrise over a period of four months, from August to November of 2014. Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. More succinct guidelines were widely publicized later that year, including the "Know Before You Fly" educational campaign at www.knowbeforeyoufly.org that started in December 2014. Visit www.faa.gov/uas for the latest U.S. Federal regulations on unmanned aircraft systems. Please fly safely.

Shot entirely using a GoPro HERO3 Black Edition camera (1080p, 60fps, Medium FOV) mounted on a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
This video was made solely for hobby and recreational purposes. Filming locations were researched and selected in July 2014 taking into account recreational flight safety guidelines reported in the news at the time. More succinct guidelines were widely publicized later that year, including the "Know Before You Fly" educational campaign at www.knowbeforeyoufly.org that started in December 2014. 2010 The Animation Workshop
My Bachelorfilm from The Animation Workshop. Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals.
It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure.
