Toro y Moi
Chazwick Bradley Bundick (born November 7, 1986), better known by his stage name Toro y Moi, is an American recording artist and producer. His music has taken on many forms since he began recording, but he is often identified with the rise of the chillwave movement in 2010 and 2011. His stage name is a multilingual expression consisting of the Spanish words toro and y (meaning "bull" and "and", respectively), and the French word moi (meaning "me").
Early life
Chazwick Bradley Bundick was born on November 7, 1986 in Columbia, South Carolina, to a Filipino mother and an African-American father. He attended Ridge View High School, where he formed the indie rock band The Heist and The Accomplice with three schoolmates.
Bundick graduated from the University of South Carolina in spring of 2009 with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. Late in his school career, Toro y Moi formed a close musical relationship with fellow chillwave artist Ernest Greene, who performs under the name Washed Out.

Black M
Alpha Diallo better known by his stage name Black Mesrimes or more commonly Black M (born 27 December 1984), is a French rapper and singer-songwriter of Guinean descent. He grew up in the 7th and 13th arrondissements of Paris. He is famous for his membership of the French rap and hip hop collective Sexion d'Assaut in addition to his solo work and collaborations with various artists. His moniker Mesrimes is a reference to French criminal known as "The Man of a Thousand Faces" and French anti-establishment wanted man "Robin Hood" Jacques Mesrine. Black M uses many punch lines and onomatopoeias in his works.
In 2006, he had a joint released Bakry & Black Mesrimes presente Le Pact. In 2013, he released "Ailleurs" as an early release from his solo album titled Les yeux plus gros que le monde that followed in 2014, becoming his first official studio album. Black M states in his latest music video a famous punch line; "Alexandre de L A, il est super stylé". Follow-up big hits from the album included "Mme Pavoshko", "Sur ma route" and "La légende black". He later rereleased the album with 8 additional track renaming the new special release Le monde plus gros que mes yeux

Fergal Smith isn't your average surfer. Having grown up on an organic vegetable farm in Ireland, Fergal learned the importance of family, food and a healthy lifestyle from a young age. Despite travelling far and wide in search of waves, Fergal remains true to his roots and continues to live in Ireland to this day having established a community garden on his farm Moy Hill. Desillusion editor Pierre David spent 4 days with Fergal in his hometown of County Clare to gain a deeper insight into Fergal's world and the importance of living a self sustaining and happy life.

A new president has been elected and the transition has kicked into high gear. You feel the call to serve your country. But you aren’t familiar with the process and need some advice from someone who knows. That is the purpose of this educational video presentation.
I have a unique perspective on this topic. I have served in political appointments in three different presidential administrations, was a member of several presidential transition teams, and served on White House staff in the area responsible for recommending candidates for political appointments to the president. The only caveat is that these are my personal views based on my experience and do not represent the views of the Trump transition or future administration.
This presentation will explore political appointments (types, number, purpose), who is responsible for making political appointments (both in the transition and administration, in the departments/agencies and the White House), the application process, and insider tips to increase your chances of being considered.

Other Tidbits: One of the first stops on their tour to support their new album ‘What For?’ All the fans were excited to hear the new tracks live. As always, tickets sold out shortly after the hometown show was announced. Indeed, although Chaz is originally from South Carolina, he moved to the SF Bay Area several years ago. Chaz Bundick deconstructs and reworks "So Many Details" from his latest release "Anything in Return" creating a textural bed of bass with a Little Phatty while harmonizing with the Minimoog Voyager. The original version's synth bass line is played live on a bass guitar affected by the MF-101 to create the distinctive "talking wah" effect. The sequenced drums of the album give way to the analog sounds of 3 Rack Mount Voyagers being controlled by a Trap-Kat MIDI drum pad. Chaz's vocals combined with the Moog Guitar used throughout creates a soulful laid back version of the

Chaz Bundick deconstructs and reworks "So Many Details" from his latest release "Anything in Return" creating a textural bed of bass with a Little Phatty while harmonizing with the Minimoog Voyager. The original version's synth bass line is played live on a bass guitar affected by the MF-101 to create the distinctive "talking wah" effect. The sequenced drums of the album give way to the analog sounds of 3 Rack Mount Voyagers being controlled by a Trap-Kat MIDI drum pad. In a very short time, Ernest Greene's Washed Out project has gained incredible momentum. With just a handful of singles, EPs and cassette releases, Greene has found himself, along with a few other notable acts such as Neon Indian and Toro Y Moi, at the forefront of Chillwave genre. We caught up with him in the midst of his first tour, on his way down to SXSW. Backed on his live set by Jagjaguwar's Small Black, it's an interesting shift to see his mellow bedroom dream pop--with songs like "Life of Leisure,""Belong" and his hit, "Feel it All Around"--translated into this live band format. And according to Ernest, we can expect more of this down the line.
