Another Audit from my trip to the Rio Grande Valley in Feb 2017-this was on the 28th. I dropped by the DEA bldg to get some quick video of it and ended up being watched by the Watchers-so,I returned the favor-and pissed a bunch of Agents off in the process. Located near the Wal Mart and behind Chik Fil A is the new FBI Bldg. I urge all Citizens to run by for a Photo Op (park some distance away and walk up-beware being followed when you leave)-send me your videos and I will post them.
I ran by to get some pics of the new facility and ended up in a confrontation with an Agent. They did not want to hear about my complaint (the Agent was unprofessional and very confrontational-there was some minor damage to my camera). So,DICK MODE INITIATED. PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO ALL OVER FACEBOOK (especially along the Border) SO EVERYONE WILL KNOW THIS AGENT IF THEY SEE HIM.

Brownsville, Texas
Brownsville is the county seat of Cameron County, Texas. It is the sixteenth most populous city in the state of Texas, with a population at the 2010 census of 175,023 and an estimated population in 2014 of 183,046. It is located at the southernmost tip of Texas, on the northern bank of the Rio Grande, directly north and across the border from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The 2014 U.S. Census Bureau estimate placed the Brownsville-Harlingen metropolitan area population at 420,392, making it the ninth most populous metropolitan area in the state of Texas. In addition, the international Matamoros–Brownsville Metropolitan Area was estimated to have a population of 1,136,995. Brownsville has one of the highest poverty rates in the nation, and is frequently cited as having the highest percentage of residents below the federal poverty level out of all cities in the nation.
The Brownsville urban area is one of the fastest growing in the United States. The city's population dramatically increased after it experienced a boom in the steel industry during the first decade of the 1900s, when steel output tripled. In recent times, the Port of Brownsville has become a major economic hub for South Texas, where shipments arrive from other parts of the United States, from Mexico, and from around the world. Brownsville's economy is mainly based on its international trade with Mexico through the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and is home to one of the fastest growing manufacturing sectors in the nation. Brownsville has often been recognized as having one of the best pro-business climates in the United States, and the city has also been ranked among the least expensive places to live in the U.S.

But today, the economy has changed and now there are many of the same large box stores, like Walmart, and HEB, and others on the Mexican side offering discounted prices, so that it is no longer necessary that Mexicans cross over to find bargains here. This, in addition to a much stricter and difficult crossing for pedestrians with the US border immigration, has caused a dramatic decrease in Mexican shoppers arriving in Downtown Brownsville. Third Annual San Benito Indian Cultural Pow-Wow
The Third Annual San Benito Indian Cultural Pow-Wow took place on Saturday at the Veteran’s Memorial Academy on Williams Road. The daylong event featured intertribal dances, information, vendor booths and food booths. The free event provided an opportunity for spectators to experience some native culture by participating in some of the dances performed at Saturday’s event. Veterans and first responders were called down to the take part in an appreciation tribute as well.

Artist builds his Savannah studio with shipping containers
Architect, artist, designer Julio Garcia had been designing plans for shipping container homes for a decade before he found the perfect place to build one: on a long, narrow stretch of his property in Savannah, Georgia. “I’m a big believer we should be adapting to the environment… I remember walking out and looking at the yard and thinking oh my god the land is calling for this linear design.” He picked up two 40 foot shipping containers from the Port of Savannah and, thanks to much advance planning, he was able to install them without removing one tree from his property. “Today Ozzie earns an honorary degree in Environmental Sciences,” said Irv Downing, Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “Like many of our graduates today, he’s planning to intern this summer. He has applications in at the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge and the Sabal Palm Grove Sanctuary. He has also joined the Alumni Association and looks forward to supporting the students at UTRGV. Congratulations Ozzie and congratulations to the class of 2015.”
Following a UTB tradition, Ozzie was asked to ring the large bell. He was joined on stage by the three leadership ring recipients – Marcos Alfonso Perez, Samantha Gomez and Stephanie Mendez.
As the bell rang, daytime fireworks were shot into the air above the roof of the Student Union, as students were led to the reception area.
Family and friends followed the procession to the Biomedical Building courtyard, where refreshments awaited.

“The members of this stage party, the faculty seated before you, and hundreds of staff have been engaged with our UT System colleagues to expand the opportunities for higher education in our region,” Fannin said. “These efforts build upon the legacies of UT Brownsville and its sister institution to create a new university with expanded programs and expanded opportunities.”
The Commencement speaker was Judge Ernest Aliseda of McAllen, Texas, a member of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System.
The final graduate of the morning was the UT Brownsville mascot, Ozzie the Ocelot. Chosen by the students when UTB was re-launched as a stand-alone university in 2012, Ozzie has been a beloved part of campus events and celebrations over the last three years.
“Today Ozzie earns an honorary degree in Environmental Sciences,” said Irv Downing, Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “Like many of our graduates today, he’s planning to intern this summer. He has applications in at the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge and the Sabal Palm Grove Sanctuary. He has also joined the Alumni Association and looks forward to supporting the students at UTRGV. Congratulations Ozzie and congratulations to the class of 2015.”
Following a UTB tradition, Ozzie was asked to ring the large bell. He was joined on stage by the three leadership ring recipients – Marcos Alfonso Perez, Samantha Gomez and Stephanie Mendez.
As the bell rang, daytime fireworks were shot into the air above the roof of the Student Union, as students were led to the reception area.
Family and friends followed the procession to the Biomedical Building courtyard, where refreshments awaited.
