I am delighted to welcome you to the new WSJ.com. Guided by subscriber feedback, we’ve worked to create an immersive digital experience that elevates the way we deliver the news. We have applied this thinking to our recent app releases, and the new WSJ.com is the culmination of those efforts.
The new site is much more visual in nature, showcasing our multimedia reporting, while improving our site performance in the process. We have also overhauled our market-data tool with a sleek new design that integrates data points critical to the modern investor. Most important, the overall news experience is streamlined and consistent across every device, wherever you may be.
I hope you enjoy the new experience. You can look forward to more enhancements over the coming months.
Sincerely,
Gerard Baker

The main goals of the WSJ.com redesign were to improve site performance, to create a visually dynamic reading experience, to diversify our storytelling tools and, most important, to create a website that works seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes. With the new WSJ.com, you will get a fully responsive website that does not compromise content as your screen gets smaller. In addition, we have overhauled the markets-data experience and enhanced personalized features such as watchlist and article saving.
To subscribe to the website, visit wsj.com/subscribe. You will also find prompts to subscribe near the top right corner of every page if you are not already logged into the site.

On desktop computers and tablets, the site navigation appears horizontally across every page. Hover over the main section names to expose the deeper sub navigation. Markets data are accessible from several places on the website. From the home page, you can click “Expand” to open our new markets-data drawer. Here you can explore a number of key data points, as well as search for a specific company ticker symbol. You can also use the magnifying glass labeled “Search” on the upper right-hand corner of every page to find indexes, stock quotes, currencies, mutual funds and more. Simply enter the keywords into the search box. An autocomplete function will suggest relevant results. Finally, you can access markets data from the main navigation under the Markets section.
While WSJ.com English language editions share a global navigation, the home pages for Asia, India and Europe are distinct and aim to provide a more relevant and in-depth news experience for readers in those regions. WSJ.com also has a number of non-English language websites that are entirely unique in navigation, sections and content. All editions are accessible from a drop-down menu under The Wall Street Journal logo on the home page. The editions menu can also be found at the bottom of every page. From the drop-down, select the edition you want to view. Your choice will be remembered and become the default selection on your next visit to WSJ.com. You can switch your edition at any time.
