Mystery Woomera X File: Drone downed, then a mushroom cloud

Woomera Explosion - 11:45am 17th June 2017 (S.A. Time). The images were taken from Lake Hart and it is within the Woomera Prohibited Area. No aircraft, that I was aware of, preceded the explosion so I'm assuming it was an artillery round. Unfortunately I only caught the mushroom cloud, post explosion. I would estimate the explosion was around 30km from me and the initial fireball was the size of a 30 story building. I'm telling you that it was f**king epic. I served with the army and I have never seen anything like this explosion. I'd go as far as to say that Australia just tested her own MOAB! Please credit photos if used. Photo by Jason Wright

A COOBER Pedy man flying a drone near the Woomera Prohibited Area says it was inexplicably “forced to the ground”, shortly before a huge explosion and mushroom cloud in the distance.
