a Jigsaw was the first band to ever accept an invitation from Musiquim. More than 4 years later, two new albums and a lasting friendship, the band was back in town for their last concert of 2014, hosted by us and Shortcutz Xpress Viseu, at Museu Grão Vasco (Viseu). We took the opportunity and went to one very iconic room there and made this video under 30 minutes.

"Musiquim" is a portuguese music project in which artists, mostly national, are invited to perform in unusual places. With the clock ticking and no big setup, every performance is as simple as it gets. That's the strength of a take away show: the stripped down songs, the unexpected, the laughter and the small mistakes. That is the essence of what we show and, while at it, we take the opportunity to explore our city. After three years, we had the chance to film musicians on the top of trees, in a dentist's clinic, in a shoe store, on a carousel and even in a soap factory.

Father Time
Father Time is the anthropomorphized depiction of time.
Description
Father Time is usually depicted as an elderly bearded man, dressed in a robe and carrying a scythe and an hourglass or other timekeeping device (which represents time's constant one-way movement, and more generally and abstractly, entropy). This image derives from several sources, including the Grim Reaper and Chronos, the Greek Titan of human time, reaping and calendars, or the Lord of Time.

That is the essence of what we show and, while at it, we take the opportunity to explore our city. After three years, we had the chance to film musicians on the top of trees, in a dentist's clinic, in a shoe store, on a carousel and even in a soap factory. "Musiquim" is a portuguese music project in which artists, mostly national, are invited to perform in unusual places. With the clock ticking and no big setup, every performance is as simple as it gets. That's the strength of a take away show: the stripped down songs, the unexpected, the laughter and the small mistakes. That is the essence of what we show and, while at it, we take the opportunity to explore our city. After three years, we had the chance to film musicians on the top of trees, in a dentist's clinic, in a shoe store, on a carousel and even in a soap factory.
Every take away show happens unannounced in Viseu - Portugal and comes to life here, online.

Miller and Team H.O.P.E. help Make a Local Little Girl’s Dream Come True
The story of 6year old Kéani Page Christmas miracle went viral on
Christmas Eve, and the entire world became smitten with the lovable
youngster, giving her the title “America’s Favorite Little Girl.” All
Kéani wanted for Christmas was “a turtle, a tablet PC, and a pair of
light-up shoes.” Two weeks before Christmas, Kéani and her ten year old
older sister expressed Kéani’s modest wish list in a hand written letter
to Santa Claus, addressed it to the North Pole, attached it to a pink and
purple helium-filled Princess balloon, and set it adrift in their home town
of Lafayette, LA. Ten days later, the girls’ balloon landed 800 miles
north, just outside of Santa Claus, IN, where it was retrieved by a local
resident who alerted the media, purchased gifts for the girls, and shared
their incredible story of love, hope, and child-like wonderment with the
world.

Romeo! Show - "Baby On Board!"
Season 3 Episode 4 "Baby On Board" (5/7/2006) With Angeline's labor imminent and Percy out of town on a business trip, Romeo is in charge. Romeo sets up a "baby drill" where everyone practices getting Angeline to the hospital quickly. The whole family performs superbly. Of course when the real thing happens, everyone panics and forgets their duties. When Romeo gets lost on the way to the hospital and the car gets a flat tire, the family ends up just barely arriving on time. When complications arise in the delivery, Romeo blames himself. Percy arrives and convinces Romeo that he did a great job acting as the man of the house. We end with the family holding the new Miller baby.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Rogers attempts to prove herself able to cornrow Gary's hair, despite her race.

Season 2 Episode 12 "Blowing Up" (1/23/2005) Hacksaw gets the band a gig at The Place, a big venue, and decides that it's time to enter phase two of their career. He brings in backup dancers and a choreographer for Jodi, a former rock keyboardist for Louis and sets up press for Romeo. With all of the extra work and time that phase two requires, the kids are burning out and each begin to believe that they should be the star of the group. Ro uses a TV interview to bring the band back together to where they should be - enjoying themselves and remembering that first and foremost, they're a family.

"Musiquim" is a portuguese music project in which artists, mostly national, are invited to perform in unusual places. With the clock ticking and no big setup, every performance is as simple as it gets. That's the strength of a take away show: the stripped down songs, the unexpected, the laughter and the small mistakes. That is the essence of what we show and, while at it, we take the opportunity to explore our city. After three years, we had the chance to film musicians on the top of trees, in a dentist's clinic, in a shoe store, on a carousel and even in a soap factory.

a Jigsaw was the first band to ever accept an invitation from Musiquim. More than 4 years later, two new albums and a lasting friendship, the band was back in town for their last concert of 2014, hosted by us and Shortcutz Xpress Viseu, at Museu Grão Vasco (Viseu). We took the opportunity and went to one very iconic room there and made this video under 30 minutes.

Aunque a estas alturas parezca increíble, hubo un tiempo en que no había Aste Nagusia. Un tiempo en que Bilbao en agosto era un lugar inhóspito, una villa desierta y fantasmagórica de la que todo el que podía escapaba sin mirar atrás.
La larga dictadura de Franco había sido muy efectiva a la hora de extender un deprimente manto gris plomo que cubría todos los aspectos de la vida ciudadana, también el festivo.
Pero en 1978 pasó algo. Algunas personas llenas de colores decidieron que había llegado el momento de repintar la realidad, así que se organizaron y sin pedir permiso a nadie, se pusieron manos a la obra.
Aste Nagusia no vino sola. Como suele pasar con todas las cosas buenas y necesarias, hubo que traerla. Y no fue fácil.
Este documental pretende contar la historia de aquellos peculiares inicios de la Aste Nagusia que hoy conocemos. Quiere también homenajear a todas aquellas personas que con su entrega desinteresada demostraron cómo desde la participación ciudadana y la autogestión, sin necesidad de ninguna autoridad, una sociedad es capaz de hacer cosas absolutamente maravillosas. Va por todas ellas.
