The xx
HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "associated acts" is not recognized
The xx are an English indie pop band formed in 2005 in Wandsworth, London. The group released its debut album, xx, in August 2009. The album was a commercial and critical success and was ranked highly on many best of 2009 lists, including number one on the list compiled by The Guardian and second for NME. In 2010, the band won the Mercury Music Prize for its debut album. Their second album, Coexist, was released on 10 September 2012.
History
2005–2009: formation
The band members met whilst studying at Elliott School, the same school that produced Hot Chip, Burial, Four Tet, and Pierce Brosnan. The group has however downplayed the influence of the school on its career: "A teacher from Elliott who had never even taught us said how great we were. It's a bit annoying. We were left alone, more than anything – although I'm sure that helped us in its own way." Oliver Sim and Romy Madley-Croft started the band as a duo when they were 15. Guitarist Baria Qureshi joined once it began performing in 2005, with Jamie Smith joining a year after.

Week
A week is a time unit equal to seven days. It is the standard time period used for cycles of work days and rest days in most parts of the world, mostly alongside (but not strictly part of) the Gregorian calendar.
The days of the week were named in different languages after classical planets, various deities (example: Thursday – Thor's day, a variation after Jupiter's day from Roman times) and heavenly bodies (example: Sunday – Sun's day) and other sources. In English, the names are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
ISO 8601 includes the ISO week date system, a numbering system for weeks within a given year – each week begins on a Monday and is associated with the year that contains that week's Thursday (so that if a year starts in a long weekend Friday–Sunday, week number one of the year will start after that).
The term "week" is sometimes expanded to refer to other time units comprising a few days, such as the nundinal cycle of the ancient Roman calendar.

My brother and spanish bandmate Miguel showed me this Portuguese group and I felt that this song just had to be covered here, not that difficult to sing but still cool, heavy and kinda soft at the same time.. enjoy !

Other Music & Dig For FIre join forces every year to book and incredible line up and host the best free daytime party at SXSW by a mile. On the lawns of the French Legation, 802 San Marcos, you can almost forget the hot mess of 6th Street with music rolling from one stage to the next throughout the day. The xx played their first show of South By at our party last year and it truly was a turn out for the books. We couldn't contain the crowd who, when the gates closed, simply jumped the wall to catch this performance. You can see why from the video. Other Music & Dig For FIre join forces every year to book and incredible line up and host the best free daytime party at SXSW by a mile. On the lawns of the French Legation, 802 San Marcos, you can almost forget the hot mess of 6th Street with music rolling from one stage to the next throughout the day. The xx played their first show of South By at our party last year and it truly was a turn out for the books. We couldn't contain the crowd who, when the gates closed, simply jumped the wall to catch this performance. You can see why from the video. Truly an awesome moment that will be forever burnt into our memories.

The XX es una banda de indie pop del suroeste de Londres, Inglaterra, formada en 2005.1 La componen tres veinteañeros2 que se conocieron en el Elliott School, conocido por haber dado grupos como Hot Chip, Burial y Four Tet.3 En The Future 50 list de New Musical Express (NME) ocuparon el puesto 6 en 2009. Su álbum debut xx fue editado el 17 de agosto de 2009 en el sello Young Turks Records. Aunque la banda trabajó con Diplo y Kwes, este trabajo fue producido por ellos mismos. El grupo ha estado de gira con The Big Pink y Micachu.
El 28 de noviembre de 2016 subieron a su canal en youtube el single de su tercer disco de estudio, I see you, que vio la luz el 13 de enero de 2017.4 Este disco está editado por Young Turks e incluye diez canciones. El 2 de enero de 2017, The xx lanzó su segundo single "Say Something Loving".

The XX es una banda de indie pop del suroeste de Londres, Inglaterra, formada en 2005.1 La componen tres veinteañeros2 que se conocieron en el Elliott School, conocido por haber dado grupos como Hot Chip, Burial y Four Tet.3 En The Future 50 list de New Musical Express (NME) ocuparon el puesto 6 en 2009. Su álbum debut xx fue editado el 17 de agosto de 2009 en el sello Young Turks Records. Aunque la banda trabajó con Diplo y Kwes, este trabajo fue producido por ellos mismos. El grupo ha estado de gira con The Big Pink y Micachu.
El 28 de noviembre de 2016 subieron a su canal en youtube el single de su tercer disco de estudio, I see you, que vio la luz el 13 de enero de 2017.4 Este disco está editado por Young Turks e incluye diez canciones. El 2 de enero de 2017, The xx lanzó su segundo single "Say Something Loving".

My brother and spanish bandmate Miguel showed me this Portuguese group and I felt that this song just had to be covered here, not that difficult to sing but still cool, heavy and kinda soft at the same time.. enjoy !
