Hendrix"Un tributo personale e visionario alla musica di Jimi Hendrix e allo spirito degli anni '60"
Il progetto RAINBOW BRIDGE – dal 2006, trio molto attivo in tutto il Sud Italia e non solo - è una celebrazione della musica, dello spirito e dell'attitudine di Jimi Hendrix.
Non il solito tributo ma una libera interpretazione di "quel sound" dal blues delle radici ai suoni "psichedelici" degli anni '60 fino al rock puro.
Il repertorio è un viaggio sonoro attraverso i classici di Hendrix e le sue famose versioni dei brani dei Beatles, Bob dylan, Cream, i classici del blues elettrico e del rock'n roll da Muddy Waters a Chuck Berry fino a Elvis..
Con apprezzamenti anche dagli Stati Uniti – la webzine dedicata alla psichedelia Sodashop.com li ha definiti "a fucking cool tribute" – e dalla Germania – presenti nel portale Hendrix-fans.de, la band rielabora in modo assolutamente originale il repertorio del leggendario chitarrista i cui brani vengono rivoltati da cima a fondo in un mix di potente psichedelia distorta e graffianti improvvisazioni.
Presenti – unica band dalla Puglia – a Bologna nelle edizioni 2013/14 al Jimi Hendrix Live (organizzato dall'associazione Jimi Hendrix Italia) dove hanno condiviso il palco con grandi musicisti come Stan Skibby(da Chicago), Vince Pastano(Vasco Rossi), Fulvio Feliciano e tanti altri.
La band inoltre ha partecipato a numerosi festival tra i quali Blues in Town(nel 2009), South Blues Connection(nel 2013) e Manfredonia Blues Festival(2014).
La band ha pubblicato un disco di rivisitazioni James & the Devil uscito a Ottobre 2012 con TAROCK RECORDS recensito molto positivamente dalla critica specializzata.

Un nuovo progetto straordinariamente originale, un modo del tutto inedito di rivisitare i grandi classici del Dio della chitarra, un “wall of sound” tra blues unplugged e psichedelia elettrica. Il tributo a Jimi Hendrix dei “Rainbow Bridge” è rivoluzionario ed emotivamente intenso, il trio scava nell'anima più profonda delle radici che hanno influenzato il grande maestro ed il risultato va al di là di ogni etichetta.
La psichedelia degli anni 70 si fonde con sonorità a volte morbide a volte taglienti ed i brani si tingono di influenze etniche, classiche, stoner, desert rock, blues e folk.
Il Trio lascia che tutto ciò venga fuori liberamente dalle improvvisazioni durante le registrazioni in studio, “James And The Devil” è un disco “sporco e vero” ed il Live Show ne rispecchia tutte le caratteristiche.

Primo introvabile 45 giri di Pino Scotto con la sua band, i Pulsar. Il singolo è datato 1979, quindi antecedente al suo debutto con i Vanadium che avverrà poi nel 1982. Il disco è stato edito dalla Phonosound, piccola etichetta proprietaria dell'omonimo studio di registrazione.

Zarautz herrian sortu zuten OK Korral rock&roll; taldea 80ko hamarkada erdian. Rockabilly, folk eta country eraginak batu zituen, bi diskotan, "O.K. Korral" (Elkar, 1986) eta "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" (Elkar, 1989). Horrelako doinuak -euskalbilli deitzen zioten taldeekideek- euskaraz jorratzen lehenengo rock taldea izan zen. Taldea desegin eta gero, taldekide batzuk Labanak, Kiowak, Noise Hole, Lusty Men bezalako bandak sortu zituzten.
Lou Olangua andrea 2013. urteko urtarrilak 12 egunean hil zen. Bere omenez "Lou-ren azken 'jaialdia" antolatu zen, ehun lagun inguru bilduz urtarrilak 13 egunean Getaria eta Zarautz arteko bigarren tunelean. Louren familia eta lagunak Musika Plazan elkartu eta, jarraian, itsas pasealekutik oinez, hitzorduko lekura abiatu ziren. Begiratokia oholtza bihurturik, txistuaren doinuak eman dio hasiera 'jaialdiari', baita euriak ere. Jarraian, The Ramones taldearen abesti bat jarri zuten bozgorailutik, abeslaria gogora ekarriz. Iñigo Manzisidor Mantxi bertsolariak eguraldia bera ere "heriotzez tindatu" dela nabarmendu zuen, kantatu duen bi bertsoetako batean. Bertsoen ostean, "Agurra" dantzatu dute abeslariaren errautsen aurrean, eta bukatzeko, errautsak zapi zuri-beltz batean jasota, itsasora bota zuten OK Korraleko gitarrista Dani Ulaziak, Anestesia taldeko kide Mikel Kazalisen laguntzarekin. The Ramones taldearen beste abesti batek girotu zuen unea, Louis Armstrong tropeta-jolearen "What a Wonderful World" abestiaren egokitzapena, hain justu ere. Una canción del grupo vasco OK Korral. Su primer disco, "OK Korral", fue grabado en los estudios Elkar, entre septiembre y octubre de 1986.
OK Korral fue un mítico grupo de rock vasco procedente de Zarautz (Guipúzcoa, Europa). Aparecieron hacia el año 1985, y sus miembros procedían todos de otro grupo rock, Los Humedecidos. Al inicio eran Lou Olangua (voz), Eva (batería), Dani Ulazia (guitarra) y Goiko (bajista). Aunque fueron clasificados dentro del Rock Radical Vasco, en la realidad el estilo musical de OK Korral combinaba otros estilos, como un potente R'n'R con influencias del psycho, country, surf o rock garage. Se los considera pioneros del denominado euskalbilly. El primer disco de OK Korral sale bajo el sello Elkar en 1986. Comenzaba con el tema 'Komantxe', una cuca version del 'Comanche' de Wray. Entre otros vivos temas también se escuchan instrumentales propios, como 'Tximo gorri', o una versión en euskera del 'Wolly bully' ('Bule bule') de Sam the Sham.

El segundo disco de OK Korral, "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" (Siempre duros, siempre borrachos), fue lanzado por el sello Elkar en 1989. En "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" volvían a revisar un tema clásico del guitarrista shawnee, nada menos que 'Rumble', y metían otro corte instrumental de su cosecha, 'Noraezean'. Entre los covers había otros como 'Go buddy go' de The Stranglers, retitulada en euskera como "Jo Mari, jo".

James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix; November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) was an American rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Although his mainstream career spanned only four years, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music; and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame describes him as "arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music".
Born in Seattle, Washington, Hendrix began playing guitar at the age of 15. In 1961, he enlisted in the US Army and trained as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division; he was granted an honorable discharge the following year. Soon afterward, he moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, and began playing gigs on the chitlin' circuit, earning a place in the Isley Brothers' backing band and later with Little Richard, with whom he continued to work through mid-1965. He then played with Curtis Knight and the Squires before moving to England in late 1966 after being discovered by Linda Keith, who in turn interested bassist Chas Chandler of the Animals in becoming his first manager. Within months, Hendrix had earned three UK top ten hits with the Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze" and "The Wind Cries Mary". He achieved fame in the US after his performance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, and in 1968 his third and final studio album, Electric Ladyland, reached number one in the US; it was Hendrix's most commercially successful release and his first and only number one album. The world's highest-paid performer, he headlined the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 before his accidental death from barbiturate-related asphyxia on September 18, 1970, at the age of 27.

Su primer disco, "OK Korral", fue grabado en los estudios Elkar, entre septiembre y octubre de 1986. OK Korral fue un mítico grupo de rock vasco procedente de Zarautz (Guipúzcoa, Europa). Presenti – unica band dalla Puglia – a Bologna nelle edizioni 2013/14 al Jimi Hendrix Live (organizzato dall'associazione Jimi Hendrix Italia) dove hanno condiviso il palco con grandi musicisti come Stan Skibby(da Chicago), Vince Pastano(Vasco Rossi), Fulvio Feliciano e tanti altri.

Un nuovo progetto straordinariamente originale, un modo del tutto inedito di rivisitare i grandi classici del Dio della chitarra, un “wall of sound” tra blues unplugged e psichedelia elettrica. Il tributo a Jimi Hendrix dei “Rainbow Bridge” è rivoluzionario ed emotivamente intenso, il trio scava nell'anima più profonda delle radici che hanno influenzato il grande maestro ed il risultato va al di là di ogni etichetta.

OK Korral fue un mítico grupo de rock vasco procedente de Zarautz (Guipúzcoa, Europa). Aparecieron hacia el año 1985, y sus miembros procedían todos de otro grupo rock, Los Humedecidos. Al inicio eran Lou Olangua (voz), Eva (batería), Dani Ulazia (guitarra) y Goiko (bajista). Aunque fueron clasificados dentro del Rock Radical Vasco, en la realidad el estilo musical de OK Korral combinaba otros estilos, como un potente R'n'R con influencias del psycho, country, surf o rock garage. Se los considera pioneros del denominado euskalbilly. El primer disco de OK Korral sale bajo el sello Elkar en 1986. Comenzaba con el tema 'Komantxe', una cuca version del 'Comanche' de Wray. Entre otros vivos temas también se escuchan instrumentales propios, como 'Tximo gorri', o una versión en euskera del 'Wolly bully' ('Bule bule') de Sam the Sham.

En "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" volvían a revisar un tema clásico del guitarrista shawnee, nada menos que 'Rumble', y metían otro corte instrumental de su cosecha, 'Noraezean'. Entre los covers había otros como 'Go buddy go' de The Stranglers, retitulada en euskera como "Jo Mari, jo".

The footage belongs to Jimi Hendrix and his estate, I guess. Not making any money off of this, and if I am I haven't seen any of it, and I don't want to since it should go to Hendrix's estate. Anyways, I uploaded it just to see how good my phone could upload videos. Pretty damn good

Il progetto RAINBOW BRIDGE – dal 2006, trio molto attivo in tutto il Sud Italia e non solo - è una celebrazione della musica, dello spirito e dell'attitudine di Jimi Hendrix.
Non il solito tributo ma una libera interpretazione di "quel sound" dal blues delle radici ai suoni "psichedelici" degli anni '60 fino al rock puro.
Il repertorio è un viaggio sonoro attraverso i classici di Hendrix e le sue famose versioni dei brani dei Beatles, Bob dylan, Cream, i classici del blues elettrico e del rock'n roll da Muddy Waters a Chuck Berry fino a Elvis..
Con apprezzamenti anche dagli Stati Uniti – la webzine dedicata alla psichedelia Sodashop.com li ha definiti "a fucking cool tribute" – e dalla Germania – presenti nel portale Hendrix-fans.de, la band rielabora in modo assolutamente originale il repertorio del leggendario chitarrista i cui brani vengono rivoltati da cima a fondo in un mix di potente psichedelia distorta e graffianti improvvisazioni.
Presenti – unica band dalla Puglia – a Bologna nelle edizioni 2013/14 al Jimi Hendrix Live (organizzato dall'associazione Jimi Hendrix Italia) dove hanno condiviso il palco con grandi musicisti come Stan Skibby(da Chicago), Vince Pastano(Vasco Rossi), Fulvio Feliciano e tanti altri.
La band inoltre ha partecipato a numerosi festival tra i quali Blues in Town(nel 2009), South Blues Connection(nel 2013) e Manfredonia Blues Festival(2014).
La band ha pubblicato un disco di rivisitazioni James & the Devil uscito a Ottobre 2012 con TAROCK RECORDS recensito molto positivamente dalla critica specializzata.

Un nuovo progetto straordinariamente originale, un modo del tutto inedito di rivisitare i grandi classici del Dio della chitarra, un “wall of sound” tra blues unplugged e psichedelia elettrica. Il tributo a Jimi Hendrix dei “Rainbow Bridge” è rivoluzionario ed emotivamente intenso, il trio scava nell'anima più profonda delle radici che hanno influenzato il grande maestro ed il risultato va al di là di ogni etichetta.

Una canción del grupo vasco OK Korral. Su primer disco, "OK Korral", fue grabado en los estudios Elkar, entre septiembre y octubre de 1986.
OK Korral fue un mítico grupo de rock vasco procedente de Zarautz (Guipúzcoa, Europa). Aparecieron hacia el año 1985, y sus miembros procedían todos de otro grupo rock, Los Humedecidos. Al inicio eran Lou Olangua (voz), Eva (batería), Dani Ulazia (guitarra) y Goiko (bajista). Aunque fueron clasificados dentro del Rock Radical Vasco, en la realidad el estilo musical de OK Korral combinaba otros estilos, como un potente R'n'R con influencias del psycho, country, surf o rock garage. Se los considera pioneros del denominado euskalbilly. El primer disco de OK Korral sale bajo el sello Elkar en 1986. Comenzaba con el tema 'Komantxe', una cuca version del 'Comanche' de Wray. Entre otros vivos temas también se escuchan instrumentales propios, como 'Tximo gorri', o una versión en euskera del 'Wolly bully' ('Bule bule') de Sam the Sham.

El segundo disco de OK Korral, "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" (Siempre duros, siempre borrachos), fue lanzado por el sello Elkar en 1989. En "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" volvían a revisar un tema clásico del guitarrista shawnee, nada menos que 'Rumble', y metían otro corte instrumental de su cosecha, 'Noraezean'. Entre los covers había otros como 'Go buddy go' de The Stranglers, retitulada en euskera como "Jo Mari, jo".

Korral" (Elkar, 1986) eta "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" (Elkar, 1989). Horrelako doinuak -euskalbilli deitzen zioten taldeekideek- euskaraz jorratzen lehenengo rock taldea izan zen. Taldea desegin eta gero, taldekide batzuk Labanak, Kiowak, Noise Hole, Lusty Men bezalako bandak sortu zituzten.
Lou Olangua andrea 2013. urteko urtarrilak 12 egunean hil zen. Bere omenez "Lou-ren azken 'jaialdia" antolatu zen, ehun lagun inguru bilduz urtarrilak 13 egunean Getaria eta Zarautz arteko bigarren tunelean. Louren familia eta lagunak Musika Plazan elkartu eta, jarraian, itsas pasealekutik oinez, hitzorduko lekura abiatu ziren. Begiratokia oholtza bihurturik, txistuaren doinuak eman dio hasiera 'jaialdiari', baita euriak ere. Jarraian, The Ramones taldearen abesti bat jarri zuten bozgorailutik, abeslaria gogora ekarriz. Iñigo Manzisidor Mantxi bertsolariak eguraldia bera ere "heriotzez tindatu" dela nabarmendu zuen, kantatu duen bi bertsoetako batean. Bertsoen ostean, "Agurra" dantzatu dute abeslariaren errautsen aurrean, eta bukatzeko, errautsak zapi zuri-beltz batean jasota, itsasora bota zuten OK Korraleko gitarrista Dani Ulaziak, Anestesia taldeko kide Mikel Kazalisen laguntzarekin. The Ramones taldearen beste abesti batek girotu zuen unea, Louis Armstrong tropeta-jolearen "What a Wonderful World" abestiaren egokitzapena, hain justu ere. Una canción del grupo vasco OK Korral. Su primer disco, "OK Korral", fue grabado en los estudios Elkar, entre septiembre y octubre de 1986.
OK Korral fue un mítico grupo de rock vasco procedente de Zarautz (Guipúzcoa, Europa). Aparecieron hacia el año 1985, y sus miembros procedían todos de otro grupo rock, Los Humedecidos. Al inicio eran Lou Olangua (voz), Eva (batería), Dani Ulazia (guitarra) y Goiko (bajista). Aunque fueron clasificados dentro del Rock Radical Vasco, en la realidad el estilo musical de OK Korral combinaba otros estilos, como un potente R'n'R con influencias del psycho, country, surf o rock garage. Se los considera pioneros del denominado euskalbilly. El primer disco de OK Korral sale bajo el sello Elkar en 1986. Comenzaba con el tema 'Komantxe', una cuca version del 'Comanche' de Wray. Entre otros vivos temas también se escuchan instrumentales propios, como 'Tximo gorri', o una versión en euskera del 'Wolly bully' ('Bule bule') de Sam the Sham.

El segundo disco de OK Korral, "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" (Siempre duros, siempre borrachos), fue lanzado por el sello Elkar en 1989. En "Beti gogor, beti mozkor" volvían a revisar un tema clásico del guitarrista shawnee, nada menos que 'Rumble', y metían otro corte instrumental de su cosecha, 'Noraezean'. Entre los covers había otros como 'Go buddy go' de The Stranglers, retitulada en euskera como "Jo Mari, jo".

TORONTO -- The Blue Jays made it official Wednesday afternoon, acknowledging that Troy Tulowitzki will miss the rest of the regular season with a right ankle injury. Tulowitzki was placed on the 60-day disabled list to make room on the 40-man roster for right-hander Nick Tepesch.
