This calendar provides a uniquely comprehensive listing of all tourism and trade events taking place at UNWTO and in our 153 Member States and more that 350 Affiliate Members.

Not only our Members are encouraged to submit trade fairs, conferences, seminars or other events related to the tourism sector but external organizations from all over the world are also invited to share their events.

Help is available for the following topics:

1. Searching for Events

There are three ways to search for listings on the calendar: browse, keyword search, and advanced search.

• To browse for events for a particular date, simply click the month on the calendar on the left of the page to display all events in that month or even that day. You may also search whether or not the event is organized by UNWTO or by an UNWTO Affiliate Member.
• To perform a keyword search use the "Search" box. It will search the database for events that contain a keyword in any field (title, acronym, location, date, topic) of the event.
• The advanced search allows you to search for events by:
  1. Fields: title or acronym, city or country
  2. Date: start and end date
  3. Kind of event :
     1. Conference: congress, convention, forum , meeting, reunion, summit, symposium, seminar, workshop.
     2. Fair: exhibition, exposition, festival, mart, multiple, salon, market, mart, show.
  4. Topics :
     1. Climate Change
     2. Cultural, Social and Ethical Aspects of Tourism
     3. Tourism and handcrafts
     4. Destination Management
     5. Development Assistance
     6. Education and Knowledge Management

2. Submitting Events

Use this online form to submit events. When you fill out the event submission form, it will then be routed to the calendar's coordinator for review and online publication.

Usually, the calendar will publish your event within 5 working days.

Required fields to be filled out (*) are:

• start date. If your event is taking place during the day only, write the same date on the end date
• event name. The event name field will accommodate 150 characters in lower case, including spaces
• city
• country
• affiliate member. If the organizer is an UNWTO Affiliate Member or not
• contact email address.
• URLs. Please include a full URL (including the http://) so the links will work properly when your event is displayed
• kind. Please consider the following categories to select the kind field
  1. Conference: congress, convention, forum , meeting, reunion, summit, symposium, seminar, workshop
  2. Fair: exhibition, exposition, festival, mart, multiple, salon, travel and tourism fair, travel fair, travel market, travel mart, travel show, travel trade exhibition

3. Modifying Events

If you need to change information about your event after it has been submitted or once it is already posted, please contact us at comm@unwto.org
