A flower, sometimes known as a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a flower is to effect reproduction, usually by providing a mechanism for the union of sperm with eggs. Flowers may facilitate outcrossing (fusion of sperm and eggs from different individuals in a population) or allow selfing (fusion of sperm and egg from the same flower). Some flowers produce diaspores without fertilization (parthenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are the site where gametophytes develop. Flowers give rise to fruit and seeds. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of pollen.
In addition to facilitating the reproduction of flowering plants, flowers have long been admired and used by humans to beautify their environment, and also as objects of romance, ritual, religion, medicine and as a source of food.
A hill is a landform that extends above the surrounding terrain. It often has a distinct summit, although in areas with scarp/dip topography a hill may refer to a particular section of flat terrain without a massive summit (e.g. Box Hill, Surrey).
The distinction between a hill and a mountain is unclear and largely subjective, but a hill is universally considered to be less tall and less steep than a mountain. In the United Kingdom, geographers historically regarded mountains as hills greater than 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level, which formed the basis of the plot of the 1995 film The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain. In contrast, hillwalkers have tended to regard mountains as peaks 2,000 feet (610 m) above sea level: the Oxford English Dictionary also suggests a limit of 2,000 feet (610 m) and Whittow states "Some authorities regard eminences above 600 m (2,000 ft) as mountains, those below being referred to as hills." The Great Soviet Encyclopedia defines hill as an upland with a relative height up to 200 m (660 ft).
Oliver is a given name. It is also used as a surname (see Oliver (surname)), in particular of a Scottish sept (see Oliver (Scottish surname)).
It may also refer to:
A menhir (French, from Middle Breton: maen, "stone" and hir, "long"), standing stone, orthostat, lith or masseba/matseva is a large upright standing stone. Menhirs may be found singly as monoliths, or as part of a group of similar stones. Their size can vary considerably, but their shape is generally uneven and squared, often tapering towards the top. Menhirs are widely distributed across Europe, Africa and Asia, but are most numerous in Western Europe; in particular in Ireland, Great Britain and Brittany. There are about 50,000 megaliths in these areas, while there are 1,200 menhirs in northwest France alone. Standing stones are usually difficult to date, but pottery found underneath some in Atlantic Europe connects them with the Beaker people. They were constructed during many different periods across pre-history as part of a larger megalithic culture that flourished in Europe and beyond.
Some menhirs have been erected next to buildings that often have an early or current religious significance. One example is the South Zeal Menhir in Devon, which formed the basis for a 12th-century monastery built by lay monks. The monastery later became the Oxenham Arms hotel, at South Zeal, and the standing stone remains in place in the ancient snug bar at the hotel.

My brother Mario impersonating Jamie Oliver in the Flower Markets, I found this old video footage from a few years ago, still hilarious to watch.
Here is the 1st Blue Sleeve issue of this Mega Rare Privately Pressed LP by Oliver Chaplin called `Standing Stone`, has distinctive black writing on blue sleeve which you can`t read, a Truly Mint copy sold for 2500 British Pounds in 2011, it is unlikely due to the fragile nature of the sleeve that a Mint copy will surface too often so the going price for a Very Good copy seems to be around 500 Pounds plus if you can find one!! I constantly add to my channel why not subscribe All audible song and notes conceived and uttered or fingered by OLIVER CHAPLIN with a contribution from some smaller winged creatures. This is video #005 in my playthrough of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Oliver and Drippy head to their first destination, Ding Dong Dell. Unfortunately, the way is shut. The commanding gate guard is brokenhearted. Oliver is not equipped to help the poor chap at the moment, but fortunately, Drippy knows a guy. It sounds like the people outside have been waiting quite a while. Strangely, the other guard seems to be overly enthusiastic. Just not enthusiastic enough to relieve his comrade of duty and let people in. Anyway, there is nothing else that can be done in Ding Dong Dell, so Ollie and Drippy return to the overworld (time index 3:45). The next destination is to the northwest. Before heading there, there are quite a few things that the duo can gather in the overworld. Most of th...
It speaks to The Black Keys' popularity and stature as one of America's finest working rock bands that the initial school of thought around The Arcs was that it's singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach's "side project." The Arcs' debut album, Yours, Dreamily, may have begun as a solo excursion, but the group has turned into a soulful explosion. Those lucky enough to see the eight-piece band's concert debut — recorded during a special First Listen Live performance at the Housing Works Bookstore Café on a humid September night in Manhattan — bore proof of The Arcs' unique energy. Sure, the fuse is lit by Auerbach in guitar-slinging mode, but the fire rages through all of his amazing bandmates. Richard Swift stakes his claim as a drummer here, moonlighting from his various gigs as The Shins' musical ...
http://trinities.org/blog/podcast-82-dr-oliver-crisp-on-libertarian-calvinism-and-universalism/ In this interview, Dr. Oliver Crisp and I continue to discuss his explorations of the boundaries of Reformed tradition. His comments are, as usual, candid, creative, and insightful. Can a Calvinist consistently believe that humans have hat philosophers call "libertarian" freedom? In his Deviant Calvinism (kindle), Dr. Crisp suggests that a Calvinist can, although he doesn't himself believe in libertarian freedom. And what about universalism, the doctrine that eventually, all saved? If as Augustinians and Calvinists think, salvation is 100% God's doing, and God is wholly good, mustn't he then save all? Some have argued from universalism based on a few passages in the New Testament and/or by mak...
