Community Team Update – 2 June
We haven’t been good about posting on this P2 at all, but myself and @francina (team reps) will be doing this after each Community Team meeting from here on. We hold our team meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month, so we will post an update here the day after those meetings, which works out to being every second Friday. It’s also worth noting that we hold two meetings each time with the same agenda, in order to cater to multiple timezones. This update will be a summary of both meetings together. We won’t post this preamble again 😛

At this point, we have mitigate the biggest problem (people submitting the same code multiple times) so rejections have dropped considerably. Thank you @sergey for the code! In turn, that means fewer accidental submissions and thus the lower number there.
Sadly the number of pending plugins continues to climb, due to people not realizing they have to reply or simply not getting the emails. We don’t have a fix for this yet. Ideas welcome!
