Zadar (Croatian pronunciation: [zâdar]; see other names) is a city in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea. It is the centre of Zadar County and the wider northern Dalmatian region. In the last official census of 2011 the population of Zadar was 75,082, making it the fifth largest city in the country. Zadar is a historical centre of Dalmatia as well as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zadar: it has a rich history dating from prehistoric times.
The name of the city of Zadar emerged as Iadera and Iader in ancient times, but the origin of the name is older. It was most probably related to a hydrographical term, coined by an ancient Mediterranean people and their Pre-Indo-European language. They transmitted it to later settlers, the Liburnians. The name of the Liburnian settlement was first mentioned by a Greek inscription from Pharos (Stari grad) on the island of Hvar in 384 BC, where the citizens of Zadar were noted as Ίαδασινοί (Iadasinoi). According to the Greek source Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax the city was Ίδασσα (Idassa), probably a Greek transcription of the original Liburnian expression.
The Sea organ (Croatian: Morske orgulje) is an architectural object located in Zadar, Croatia and an experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps.
Chaotic reconstruction work was undertaken in an attempt to repair the devastation Zadar suffered in the Second World War. The frantic reconstruction turned much of the sea front into an unbroken, monotonous concrete wall.
The device was made by the architect Nikola Bašić as part of the project to redesign the new city coast (Nova riva), and the site was opened to the public on 15 April 2005.The waves interact with the organ in order to create somewhat random but harmonic sounds.
The Sea Organ has drawn tourists and locals alike. In addition, white marble steps leading down to the water were built later. Concealed under these steps, which both protect and invite, is a system of polyethylene tubes and a resonating cavity that turns the site into a large musical instrument, played by the wind and the sea.

The Roman Forum (Latin: Forum Romanum, Italian: Foro Romano) is a rectangular forum (plaza) surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome. Citizens of the ancient city referred to this space, originally a marketplace, as the Forum Magnum, or simply the Forum.
It was for centuries the center of Roman public life: the site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials, and gladiatorial matches; and the nucleus of commercial affairs. Here statues and monuments commemorated the city's great men. The teeming heart of ancient Rome, it has been called the most celebrated meeting place in the world, and in all history. Located in the small valley between the Palatine and Capitoline Hills, the Forum today is a sprawling ruin of architectural fragments and intermittent archaeological excavations attracting 4.5 million sightseers yearly.

Every city has a story, this is Zadars ⛵️🌅 Rather than just showing the main tourist attractions of my city, I wanted to share with you the authenticity of my city and the lifestyle. The stuff you will really see if you ever come to Zadar. I stripped down the city to its core elements for all of you to see. My last Visit Zadar video in 2016 was filmed in one day and I got amazing feedback for it. I wanted to step it up a notch and put everything I learned till now in my videography career for you guys to see. This is the type of content I want to make. A picturesque country, which is blessed by an unfathomable natural richness. Its charm, beside the coast full of bays, the warm watered fjords and reefs, high cliffs and the green hills is made up also by its artistic and historical values. On the Dalmatian Coast the romantic cities of Zadar and Trogir and the Saint Jacob cathedral of Sibenik make us remember to the past. In Split, one can take a look at emperor Diocletian’s unique palace. Among the natural beauties the crystal clear waters, waterfalls, caves and rapids of the Krka National Park are on top. Crikvenica introduce us to the mood of a spa in the monarchy, while the whole travel is crowned by the Queen of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik. Blue sky, glimmering sea, lovely islands, and wonderful landscape. They say that the heart of the t...
Take a tour of St. Donatus Church in Zadar, Croatia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. Initially called The Church of the Holy Trinity; The Church of Saint Donatus in Zadar, Croatia was given its current moniker in the 15th century. The church was erected in the ninth century, before the introduction of Romanesque architecture. Its structure is rich with history, built next to an early Roman Forum. Instead, Saint Donatus Church has a unique, circular design, with a red, peaked roof. The simple exterior with its whitewashed walls have remained roughly the same for hundreds of years. Though Saint Donatus no longer holds services, it is still accessible to visitors.

I've got you under my skin
I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
I've got you under my skin
I've tried so not to give in
I said to myself this affair won't go so well
But why should I try to resist when baby I know more
than well
I've got you under my skin
I've got you under my skin
And I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
I've got you under my skin
I'd sacrifice anything come what might
For the sake of having you near
In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night
And repeats, repeats in my ear
Don't you know fool you can never win
Use your mentality wake to reality
But each time that I do
Just the thought of you makes me stop before I begin
'Cause I've got you under my skin
I've got you under my skin
I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
'Cause I've got you under my skin
oooohhhh
ooohhh ooohhh
oooohhhh
ooohhh ooohhh
I've got you under my skin
I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart that you're really a part of me
