Buda (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈbudɒ]) is the former capital of the Kingdom of Hungary and the western part of the current Hungarian capital Budapest on the west bank of the Danube. Buda comprises about one-third of Budapest's complete territory and is mostly wooded and hilly. Notable landmarks include the Buda Castle and the Citadella. The Hungarian president's residence, Sándor Palace, is also in Buda.
The Buda fortress and palace were built by King Béla IV of Hungary. in 1247, and were the nucleus round which the town of Buda was built, which soon gained great importance, and became in 1361 the capital of Hungary.
While Pest was mostly Hungarian in the 15th century, Buda had a German majority; however according to the Hungarian Royal Treasury, it had a Hungarian majority with a sizeable German minority in 1495. Buda became part of Ottoman-ruled central Hungary from 1541 to 1686. It was known as Budin Eyalet during the Ottoman era. The Ottoman Empire settled Serbian settlers in the nearby areas of the city. The original Christian citizens of the city (Germans and Hungarians) fled.
The third eye is a spiritual concept associated with enlightenment and direct communication with a higher plane of existence.

Kyabjé Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche (Tibetan: པདྨ་ནོར་བུ་, Wylie: pad ma nor bu ,1932 - March 27, 2009) was the 11th throne holder of the Palyul Lineage of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, and said to be an incarnation of Vimalamitra. He was widely renowned in the Tibetan Buddhist world as a master of Dzogchen. He was one of a very few teachers left from his generation who received all his training (in the traditional sense) in Tibet under the guidance of what Tibetan Buddhists consider to be fully enlightened teachers.
The Third Drubwang Padma Norbu Rinpoche, Thubten Legshed Chokyi Drayang, also known as Do-ngag Shedrub Tenzin Chog-lei Namgyal was born in 1932, the year of the Water Monkey, in the twelfth month, in the Powo region of Kham, East Tibet. He was recognized in 1936 by the Fifth Dzogchen Rinpoche (Thubten Chokyi Dorje) and Khenpo Ngaga Rinpoche (also known as Khenchen Ngagi Wangchuk, Ngawang Palzangpo, or Khenpo Ngagchung). Padma Norbu was formally enthroned by his root teacher, Thubten Chökyi Dawa (1894–1959) the second Chogtrul Rinpoche, and Karma Thegchog Nyingpo (1908–1958) the Fourth Karma Kuchen. He trained at the Palyul Monastery in Tibet, studying and receiving teachings from numerous masters and scholars, including the Fourth Karma Kuchen, the 10th Palyul throneholder.
Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of Jared Leto (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), Shannon Leto (drums, percussion) and Tomo Miličević (lead guitar, bass, violin, keyboards, other instruments).
The band's debut album, 30 Seconds to Mars (2002), was produced by Bob Ezrin and released to positive reviews but only to limited commercial success. The band achieved worldwide fame with the release of their second album A Beautiful Lie (2005), which received multiple certifications all over the world, including platinum in the United States. Their next release, This Is War (2009), showed a dramatic evolution in the band's musical style, as they incorporated experimental music as well as eclectic influences. The recording process of the album was marked by a legal dispute with record label EMI that eventually became the subject of the documentary film Artifact (2012). Thirty Seconds to Mars then moved to Universal Music and released the fourth album, Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013), to critical and commercial success. As of September 2014, the band has sold over 15 million albums worldwide.
Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British-born American philosopher, writer, and speaker, best known as an interpreter and populariser of Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. Pursuing a career, he attended Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, where he received a master's degree in theology. Watts became an Episcopal priest in 1945, then left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies.
Watts gained a large following in the San Francisco Bay Area while working as a volunteer programmer at KPFA, a Pacifica Radio station in Berkeley. Watts wrote more than 25 books and articles on subjects important to Eastern and Western religion, introducing the then-burgeoning youth culture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. In Psychotherapy East and West (1961), Watts proposed that Buddhism could be thought of as a form of psychotherapy and not a religion. He considered "Nature, Man, and Woman" (1958) to be, "from a literary point of view - the best book I have ever written." He also explored human consciousness, in the essay "The New Alchemy" (1958), and in the book The Joyous Cosmology (1962).
Simple, profound truths are the realm of this Buddhist nun. Her message? The gift of happiness truly lies within our own hearts and minds. Gen Kelsang Nyema, exuding a peacefulness that immediately connects with the audience, starts by asking three questions: Are you having a good day? Why? Tomorrow, would you rather have a good day or a bad day? She teaches that we cannot put our happiness at the whim of other people and of circumstances. If we want to be happy, we have to "stop outsourcing our happiness to other people" and cultivate a source of inner peace. What happens next is quite astounding. The whole crowd of 350+ people proceeds to meditate with Nyema. There's a little squirming at first, but as she leads the audience through a calm citation of how to rest the mind, audience membe...
We keep hearing how meditation is good for body and spirit (if you have not already heard, raises immunity and brain function, relieves depression and problems with blood pressure, reduces the negative impact of stress, helps in the fight against addiction, relieves PMS, prolongs life ...) but when you think of the daily half-hour (or more) spent in an uncomfortable position, while trying to clear the head of all thoughts and concentrate can be a little difficult. The truth is that meditation does not to be like that! Listen to the Buddhist monk and how easy it is to tame his "monkey mind" and how you can all add this in to your day to day life

We want the mantra to stay inside. We don’t want it to be in the field of expression. We want that mantra to remain in the mind and take the mind deeper. So for your mind to go deeper, you need to have a mantra which is not in the field of expression; which is secret. That is why it is given secretly. A secret stays deeper in your heart, deep in your consciousness. So mantra is a vehicle for the mind to dwell deeper into the consciousness. That is why it needs to be given secretly. This is the idea from ancient times. It is so scientific. There are mantras that everybody can chant loudly. But a personal mantra is what one has to keep secret. Mantra sung by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche is Supreme head of the Nyingma (the Ancient Translation School of secret mantra),1932 - March 27, 2009...

What awaits just below the surface? What controls your actions, your perception, your life? What do you see; light or darkness? Take a glimpse inside for insight into your deepest self. Based on the images you see in this video, you can start to understand what makes you tick, how you see the world around you, and how you see yourself. This is a very powerful spiritual/psychological test. It is like a spiritual Rorschach Test (inkblot test). The images; animals, spirits, deities, etc., you encounter in this video tell you about yourself, like a mirror into your soul. The media; music, news, books, movies, games, people, etc. that you expose yourself to have a great power over controlling your perception of everything in your life, including your view of yourself. Great visual and audio meditation. See deeper into the world you live in and walk upon. The Third Eye closes over time if not used. Everything from the day-to-day stress of life, pressure from others that do not walk the same path, distractions such as media, developmental stages and the traps and basically data overload from all of the information we are barraged with on a daily basis. But there is a place, deep inside of us, that allows us to see deeper into everything and gives us a deeper understanding of what we are seeing. That place is "the third eye." It is a conduit to "the source," or "the universe." This ancient being that you are, is accessible only through this portal. We lose connection to this ancient self, that is us, as we grow into young children and start mimicking wha...

Travel video about destination Budapest in Hungary. Budapest, capital of Hungary, is the pearl of the Danube and a constantly changing metropolis. Hungary was once a kingdom but then came the Turks, who were followed by the Habsburgs and Maria Theresia who became 'Queen of Hungary'. The historic centre of Budapest is dominated by its noble castle that towers above the banks of the Danube. A 100 metre long cable railway that dates back to 1870 is both a practical and fascinating way to ascend the hill to the castle. Each day, the area around the castle, the Fischerbastel, that has never played a military role, attracts large numbers of tourists. Margareten Island is set amid the Danube and is Budapest's vast entertainment area. It was at its most colorful during the Romantic period of the...

Travel video about destination Buda in Hungary. Extending for nearly one and a half kilometres, the historic centre of Budapest and its impressive Royal Palace tower proudly over the banks of the Danube.Budapest’s castle district has developed into the Hungarian capital’s main attraction, most notably, Fishermen‘s Bastion that was built between 1890 and 1905. The greater part of the Gothic, Matthias Cathedral, dates back to the 19th century but of the 16th century buildings, only their foundations remain. A broken soul on the edge to insanity
Not knowing right from wrong or what is true or false
Making up your own rules of how to live your life
Don't you ever ever think about anyone else?
Inside your mind there's a never ending battle
Between the lies and the words that speaks the truth
Take what you can before is it all over
Your evil deeds will in the end bring you down
Go back in time to when you were much younger
The scars in your soul forced you to be strong
Aggression, disbelief, controlling your life
Confrontation seems like the only way
Inside your mind there's a never ending battle
Between the lies and the words that speaks the truth
Take what you can before is it all over
Your evil deeds will in the end bring you down
Searching for answers
In the emptiness between dream and reality
The secrets of life hidden deep in your mind
Carefully kept away from the outside world
Inside your mind there's a never ending battle
Between the lies and the words that speaks the truth
Take what you can before is it all over
