The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney, is an American diversifiedmultinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. It is the world's second largest media conglomerate in terms of revenue, after Comcast. Disney was founded on October 16, 1923, by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, and established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and theme parks. The company also operated under the names The Walt Disney Studio, then Walt Disney Productions. Taking on its current name in 1986, it expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theater, radio, music, publishing, and online media.
In addition, Disney has since created corporate divisions in order to market more mature content than is typically associated with its flagship family-oriented brands. The company is best known for the products of its film studio, The Walt Disney Studios, which is today one of the largest and best-known studios in American cinema. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, A+E Networks, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, music, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 14 theme parks around the world. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is a primary symbol of The Walt Disney Company.

The Walt Disney Corporation has come far from its pre-war roots as a cartoon based film company. The mass media multinational is now worth 150 billion dollars and expanded ever since. Since 1991, Disney’s total annual revenue has only decreased twice. Its five-year annualized return on equity (ROE) for investors for the period 2009 to 2015 is 315%. PanicProgram@PostPanic director Erwin van den IJssel was asked by DisneyXD Netherlands to create a series of channel idents to promote the Dutch channel's summer theme of 'Chain Reactions'. Erwin decided to build story-based chain reactions which were crafted entirely out of objects kids could find at home. The joy he wanted to capture was that of being able to build things that your parents would raise their eyebrows at (hence the flying squeezy-bottle heron and exploding sports-field). The heros of the idents are the kids themselves - cut out of snapshot photos and placed on cardboard figures. Disney XD also specified that the idents must have a Dutch 'feel' so objects were carefully made from subtely recognisable materials and products, such as the various food tins and bottles, chip b...

Disney approached us again, this time to create a fun loaded graphics package to be used during this year’s Easter season by Disney worldwide. The concept was developed collaboratively with Disney’s talented crew and consisted in having the most representative Easter elements (Easter eggs, naturally) transforming themselves into some of today’s kids favorite pasttimes. It was then implemented onto a set of pieces created to present Disney’s most popular shows, resulting in a vibrant and joyful graphics package that presents a very traditional season in a totally unconventional fashion. Just before summer Disney approached us to create a series of idents to welcome kids back to the new school calendar starting in summer/fall. The idents were meant to be part of their global “Back to School” campaign, each one of them created specifically for their most popular shows/series. Disney’s talented crew provided us with the starting point for the concept which was to have nothing but school lockers (alongside the characters) in each piece. Based on that premise we created this set of idents to be used by Disney worldwide to welcome kids back to school with a truckload of movement, colour and fun. I recently traveled to Orlando to reunite with some of my closest friends from the past year while living in Florida. I haven't been back since I moved in July, so it was bittersweet in a lot of ways. It was wonderful to reconnect with "Theta Delta Disney" and my warm weather state. We spent our Saturday at Disney World, since our internships with the company are what first brought us together and since it really is one of the happiest places on earth. My contributions in animation for the movie Zootopia. All animation in this reel was done by me. The characters, voices and music are all copyright of the Walt Disney Company. Thanks to all the hard working teams behind the character creation , modeling and rigging for making such fun characters to animate with. Also mention the amazing work of the Lighting and FX team for making our shots look so great in the final picture!.

Disney World may be the happiest place on earth, but Orlando, Florida, has a lot more to offer than just theme parks. If you want to get off the tourist track a bit, here are five sights you don't want to miss. 5. Lake Eola. This beautiful park is right in the heart of downtown, and it's the perfect place for a stroll or a paddleboat ride. 4. Mall at Millennia. Upscale shopping in the city's prettiest mall--spend a fortune or just enjoy the window shopping. 3. Canaveral National Seashore. An easy day trip from Orlando, this park is home to pristine beaches (the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in the state of Florida), wildlife, nature trails, and lagoons. You can even glimpse space-related sights, including the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building). Note: the very northernmost beach ...

It's cold outside
Seven months of suicide
I've been in suspended animation
Just like Walt Disney
My only love
Asked for me to wait out there
I waited
Waited but she didn't care
Just like Walt Disney
I'm just thawing out
My fingertips and toes are frozen to the bone
Give me an hour before you throw me in the cold
Ring, ring, ring
Now I hear the phone singing
Calling me
Telling me to start freezing
Just like Walt Disney, yeah
I'm a block of ice
My fingertips and toes are frozen to the bone
Give me an hour before you throw me in the cold
Give me an hour before you pick me up and throw me 'cross the sea
