That's it from me today.

Melbourne Express has become a shameless sunrise blog this morning. I'm sure my predecessor Deb Gough would be proud.
My colleague Craig Butt tells me it was a slow news day on this day in 1948.
In The Age we had stories about cement arriving from England, a truck breaking in two and a seal eating a fish.

It's another sunrise picture, dear readers.
This taken by Joshua on Canning Street in Carlton, looking over Murchison Square.
Josh used the word "superb" to describe, and he ain't wrong.

On this day in 1948
On this day in 1948, legendary cricketer Don Bradman batted his final test match innings for Australia. He needed just four runs to achieve a career average of 100.
But it was not to be - he went out for a duck. Here's how The Age reported the innings. Oddly enough, the fact Bradman went out for a duck appeared quite low down in the story.

Another vehicle, a white Hyundai Accent, was stolen from the same address on June 10.
This time, it's believed the thief entered the home, removed the car keys and stole the vehicle.

We've got citybound delays of seven minutes on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines due to a faulty train but otherwise the network is looking pretty good.
Express reader Kate also got an amazing snap of the sunrise from Footscray Station this morning.
I'm looking out the window at Media House and all I can see is grey cloud so please keep them coming!

I've always been a sucker for great sunrises, and I've seen many after working the 6am shift for the past three years.
