In this phone call on December 20, 1963, he talks with Representative Albert Thomas (D-Texas) about a clause forcing the President to publicly report to Congress on wheat sales to the Soviet Union and argues that it would resonate poorly with the American public. LBJ makes an incredible mistake with his first answer by undermining the purpose of his Warren Commission. His supposed doubts about international connections opens the door for Uncle Walter to question the conclusions of the WC. LBJ tries to close it again at 0:55. But Cronkite walks right in and LBJ fumbles big time as he realizes what a hole he has dug himself. He starts to address the WC conclusions, but then launches into a defense of the Commission's integrity instead, realizing that he can only make things worse by talking specifics. At 1:25 a wonderful subtle snarl stirs the left corner of his mouth as he regrets letting Uncle Walter into the ranch. Then his obfuscating generalities hit the name "Oswald," and he pauses, realizing that he did not want to speak that name and closes his eyes in despair, before continuing to the ultimate flub, "others that could have been involved." This is the former President of the United States here, not some schlub who just read a Mark Lane book, and he's talking about the motivations of Oswald and others who might have been involved, to Walter Fucking Cronkite. What can he do now, but ask Cronkite not to broadcast this unbelievable answer? And our kindly Uncle Walter obliges.
It seems weird that LBJ would bring up "international connections" 6 years later, but this is part of the original cover story. There had to be an implication of international connections in order to convince Earl Warren and others that confirming the lone gunman theory was necessary to avoiding the possibility of WW3. "Oswald Done It Himself," avoids Cuban and Soviet involvement. The conspirators provided just enough false implication of international connections to create a reason for relatively honest men to join the cover up.
Ruby's Warren Commission testimony is sometimes quoted out of context. There, he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson, he says, to convince him that he was not involved with the Kennedy assassination plot. Perhaps the key point is that he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson. He has just been sentenced to death for killing Oswald, and he had probably been promised to get off lightly, the way Mac Wallace had got away with murder. Later, he blames "the man in office now," and he never sounds more sane than when he says that. The Weissman ad was probably planted just to give him a reason to shoot Oswald. Why did he wake up George Senator in the middle of the night to go look at a billboard and go to the post office? Because Senator would make a good corroborating witness to his motivations. But, when Johnson didn't come through for him, he pointed the finger of blame.
It is interesting to note how close Ruby kept to Senator. In November 1962, Senator moved into a new apartment, and, according to Senator's testimony to the Warren Commission, within a week Ruby moved into the next door apartment. The adjoining apartment. They shared a wall. One year before the assassination Ruby moved in next door to his future character witness. This apartment was less than a mile away from Oswald's famous "backyard," and about 4 blocks from where Tippit would die. And this was about the same time that George de Mohrenschildt was getting to know his new friend Lee ("I think in the summer of 1962"), and about the same time that Michael Paine moved out of his house ("Michael moved to an apartment in September of 1962"). The scene was being set a year in advance.
That's Janet "Jada" Conforto, at this time, a former dancer in Ruby's club. She also mentioned in the video that she thought that Jack particularly didn't like Bobby Kennedy, which isn't surprising given the fact that Jack had gangster friends. It is also priceless how she looks at the interviewer when he suddenly starts talking as if she is not there. You'll find the interview is on YouTube somewhere, if you search for it. She died in the 70's riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a bus.
Jada, here, says that she doesn't think Ruby loved Kennedy that much. In part of this interview not shown here, she emphasizes how he disliked Bobby. I just yesterday saw another interview with another dancer who related how upset Ruby was with the assassination of his "beloved" president. This seems to be a contradiction, but when you realize that Jada had left the Carousel Club long before the assassination and that the other dancer was working there at the time of the assassination, then it makes sense. Ruby didn't like the Kennedys, but he was putting on to explain the motive for what he was about to do, to kill Oswald. Ruby was pretending to be upset that JFK had been murdered. He really didn't like the Kennedys.

Lyndon B. Johnson
Lyndon Baines Johnson (/ˈlɪndən ˈbeɪnz ˈdʒɒnsən/; August 27, 1908 – January 22, 1973), often referred to as LBJ, was the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969, assuming the office after serving as the 37th Vice President of the United States from 1961 to 1963. Johnson was a Democrat from Texas, who served as a United States Representative from 1937 to 1949 and as a United States Senator from 1949 to 1961. He spent six years as Senate Majority Leader, two as Senate Minority Leader, and two as Senate Majority Whip.
Johnson ran for the Democratic nomination in the 1960 presidential election. Although unsuccessful, he was chosen by Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts to be his running mate. They went on to win the election and Johnson was sworn in as Vice President on January 20, 1961. Two years and ten months later, on November 22, 1963, Johnson succeeded Kennedy as President following the latter's assassination. He ran for a full term in the 1964 election, winning by a landslide over Republican Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater. He is one of four people who have served as President and Vice President, as well as in both houses of Congress.

Johnson
Johnson is a surname of English origin. The name itself is a patronym of the given name John, literally meaning "son of John". The name John derives from Latin Johannes, which is derived through Greek Ἰωάννης Iōannēs from Hebrew יוחנן Yohanan, meaning "Yahweh has favoured". The name has been extremely popular in Europe since the Christian era as a result of it being given to St John the Baptist, St John the Evangelist and nearly one thousand other Christian saints. Johnson is the ninth most common surname in Sweden/Scandinavia, second most common in the United States and 154th most common in the world.

LBJ makes an incredible mistake with his first answer by undermining the purpose of his Warren Commission. His supposed doubts about international connections opens the door for Uncle Walter to question the conclusions of the WC. LBJ tries to close it again at 0:55. But Cronkite walks right in and LBJ fumbles big time as he realizes what a hole he has dug himself. LBJ makes an incredible mistake with his first answer by undermining the purpose of his Warren Commission. His supposed doubts about international connections opens the door for Uncle Walter to question the conclusions of the WC. LBJ tries to close it again at 0:55. But Cronkite walks right in and LBJ fumbles big time as he realizes what a hole he has dug himself. He starts to address the WC conclusions, but then launches into a defense of the Commission's integrity instead, realizing that he can only make things worse by talking specifics. At 1:25 a wonderful subtle snarl stirs the left corner of his mouth as he regrets letting Uncle Walter into the ranch. Then his obfuscating generalities hit the name "Oswald," and he pauses, realizing that he did not want to speak that name and closes his eyes in despair, before continuing to the ultimate flub, "others that could have been involved." This is the former President of the United States here, not some schlub who just read a Mark Lane book, and he's talking about the motivations of Oswald and others who might have been involved, to Walter Fucking Cronkite. What can he do now, but ask Cronkite not to broadcast this unbelievable answer? And our kindly Uncle Walter obliges.
It seems weird that LBJ would bring up "international connections" 6 years later, but this is part of the original cover story. There had to be an implication of international connections in order to convince Earl Warren and others that confirming the lone gunman theory was necessary to avoiding the possibility of WW3. "Oswald Done It Himself," avoids Cuban and Soviet involvement. The conspirators provided just enough false implication of international connections to create a reason for relatively honest men to join the cover up.
Ruby's Warren Commission testimony is sometimes quoted out of context. There, he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson, he says, to convince him that he was not involved with the Kennedy assassination plot. Perhaps the key point is that he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson. He has just been sentenced to death for killing Oswald, and he had probably been promised to get off lightly, the way Mac Wallace had got away with murder. Later, he blames "the man in office now," and he never sounds more sane than when he says that. The Weissman ad was probably planted just to give him a reason to shoot Oswald. Why did he wake up George Senator in the middle of the night to go look at a billboard and go to the post office? Because Senator would make a good corroborating witness to his motivations. But, when Johnson didn't come through for him, he pointed the finger of blame.
It is interesting to note how close Ruby kept to Senator. In November 1962, Senator moved into a new apartment, and, according to Senator's testimony to the Warren Commission, within a week Ruby moved into the next door apartment. The adjoining apartment. They shared a wall. One year before the assassination Ruby moved in next door to his future character witness. This apartment was less than a mile away from Oswald's famous "backyard," and about 4 blocks from where Tippit would die. And this was about the same time that George de Mohrenschildt was getting to know his new friend Lee ("I think in the summer of 1962"), and about the same time that Michael Paine moved out of his house ("Michael moved to an apartment in September of 1962"). The scene was being set a year in advance.
That's Janet "Jada" Conforto, at this time, a former dancer in Ruby's club. She also mentioned in the video that she thought that Jack particularly didn't like Bobby Kennedy, which isn't surprising given the fact that Jack had gangster friends. It is also priceless how she looks at the interviewer when he suddenly starts talking as if she is not there. You'll find the interview is on YouTube somewhere, if you search for it. She died in the 70's riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a bus.
Jada, here, says that she doesn't think Ruby loved Kennedy that much. In part of this interview not shown here, she emphasizes how he disliked Bobby. I just yesterday saw another interview with another dancer who related how upset Ruby was with the assassination of his "beloved" president. This seems to be a contradiction, but when you realize that Jada had left the Carousel Club long before the assassination and that the other dancer was working there at the time of the assassination, then it makes sense. Ruby didn't like the Kennedys, but he was putting on to explain the motive for what he was about to do, to kill Oswald. Ruby was pretending to be upset that JFK had been murdered. He really didn't like the Kennedys.

LBJ makes an incredible mistake with his first answer by undermining the purpose of his Warren Commission. His supposed doubts about international connections opens the door for Uncle Walter to question the conclusions of the WC. LBJ tries to close it again at 0:55. But Cronkite walks right in and LBJ fumbles big time as he realizes what a hole he has dug himself. He starts to address the WC conclusions, but then launches into a defense of the Commission's integrity instead, realizing that he can only make things worse by talking specifics. At 1:25 a wonderful subtle snarl stirs the left corner of his mouth as he regrets letting Uncle Walter into the ranch. Then his obfuscating generalities hit the name "Oswald," and he pauses, realizing that he did not want to speak that name and closes his eyes in despair, before continuing to the ultimate flub, "others that could have been involved." This is the former President of the United States here, not some schlub who just read a Mark Lane book, and he's talking about the motivations of Oswald and others who might have been involved, to Walter Fucking Cronkite. What can he do now, but ask Cronkite not to broadcast this unbelievable answer? And our kindly Uncle Walter obliges.
It seems weird that LBJ would bring up "international connections" 6 years later, but this is part of the original cover story. There had to be an implication of international connections in order to convince Earl Warren and others that confirming the lone gunman theory was necessary to avoiding the possibility of WW3. "Oswald Done It Himself," avoids Cuban and Soviet involvement. The conspirators provided just enough false implication of international connections to create a reason for relatively honest men to join the cover up.
Ruby's Warren Commission testimony is sometimes quoted out of context. There, he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson, he says, to convince him that he was not involved with the Kennedy assassination plot. Perhaps the key point is that he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson. He has just been sentenced to death for killing Oswald, and he had probably been promised to get off lightly, the way Mac Wallace had got away with murder. Later, he blames "the man in office now," and he never sounds more sane than when he says that. The Weissman ad was probably planted just to give him a reason to shoot Oswald. Why did he wake up George Senator in the middle of the night to go look at a billboard and go to the post office? Because Senator would make a good corroborating witness to his motivations. But, when Johnson didn't come through for him, he pointed the finger of blame.
It is interesting to note how close Ruby kept to Senator. In November 1962, Senator moved into a new apartment, and, according to Senator's testimony to the Warren Commission, within a week Ruby moved into the next door apartment. The adjoining apartment. They shared a wall. One year before the assassination Ruby moved in next door to his future character witness. This apartment was less than a mile away from Oswald's famous "backyard," and about 4 blocks from where Tippit would die. And this was about the same time that George de Mohrenschildt was getting to know his new friend Lee ("I think in the summer of 1962"), and about the same time that Michael Paine moved out of his house ("Michael moved to an apartment in September of 1962"). The scene was being set a year in advance.
That's Janet "Jada" Conforto, at this time, a former dancer in Ruby's club. She also mentioned in the video that she thought that Jack particularly didn't like Bobby Kennedy, which isn't surprising given the fact that Jack had gangster friends. It is also priceless how she looks at the interviewer when he suddenly starts talking as if she is not there. You'll find the interview is on YouTube somewhere, if you search for it. She died in the 70's riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a bus.
Jada, here, says that she doesn't think Ruby loved Kennedy that much. In part of this interview not shown here, she emphasizes how he disliked Bobby. I just yesterday saw another interview with another dancer who related how upset Ruby was with the assassination of his "beloved" president. This seems to be a contradiction, but when you realize that Jada had left the Carousel Club long before the assassination and that the other dancer was working there at the time of the assassination, then it makes sense. Ruby didn't like the Kennedys, but he was putting on to explain the motive for what he was about to do, to kill Oswald. Ruby was pretending to be upset that JFK had been murdered. He really didn't like the Kennedys.

Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. On his own he added stints in New York and Los Angeles with leading acting teachers, as well as learning the grace and style of many forms of dance and athletics. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. There are some people clearly born to follow the path they have chosen from the start. Mani Nasry has the passion to succeed, the curiosity and ingenuity required to lead and collaborate in an industry known for its impact and appeal, and the strength of character and work ethic to immerse himself in finding and telling an unforgettable story.

In this free and public McConnell Center talk, Kent Germany, PhD, explored new documents and once-secret White House recordings to see what LBJ intended the "War on Poverty" to be. According to Germany, the "War on Poverty" was hobbled from the start by Johnson’s overly ambitious rhetoric and evolved over the next half century into something that challenges easy labels of success or failure.
Germany is a joint professor in the University of South Carolina’s history and African American studies departments. He previous was on the faculty at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center of Public Affairs, where he led the LBJ project, co-founded the award-winning website www.whitehousetapes.org and served as a host of For the Record, a nationally distributed PBS interview program on politics and history.
Germany is the author of New Orleans After the Promises: Poverty, Citizenship and the Search for the Great Society, a finalist for the Organization of American Historian’s Liberty Legacy Award for best book on civil rights. He is the co-editor of four books on Johnson’s White House tapes, including The Presidential Recordings: Lyndon B. Johnson: Toward the Great Society, which was the winner of the 2011 PROSE Award for Best eProduct in the Humanities.

Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzeziński verstarb letzte Woche, am 26.Mai, im Alter von 89 Jahren. Brzeziński war Sicherheitsberater zahlreicher US-Regierungen seit 1966, u.a. war er der wichtigste Ratgeber des ehemaligen US-Präsidenten Jimmy Carter. 1928 wurde er in Ost-Polen geboren. Die Kindheitsjahre verbrachte er im ukrainischen Charkow. Die dort miterlebten Säuberungen unter dem sowjetischen Diktator Stalin führten zum Hass gegen Russland, was sein ganzes Leben prägen sollte. Später zog er in die USA und wurde 1958 US-amerikanischer Staatsbürger. 1966 wurde er Berater von Präsident Lyndon B. Johnson.
Obwohl sich Zbigniew Brzeziński in seinen letzten Lebensjahren gegen den Irakkrieg und gegen das Eingreifen der USA in Syrien äußerte, darf dies nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, wie er mit Kalkül seine Ziele verfolgte und dadurch ganze Völker in Elend und Tod trieb. Seine Bestrebungen legte er 1997 in seinem Buch „Die einzige Weltmacht“ offen dar: Dort beschrieb er die geopolitische Strategie der USA als erste, einzige und letzte Weltmacht nach dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion, wie folgt: „Inwieweit die USA ihre globale Vormachtstellung geltend machen können, hängt aber davon ab, wie ein weltweit engagiertes Amerika mit den komplexen Machtverhältnissen auf dem eurasischen Kontinent fertig wird — und ob es dort das Aufkommen einer dominierenden, gegnerischen Macht verhindern kann.“ Insbesondere die Isolierung Russlands sei oberstes Ziel zur Erhaltung der US-Vorherrschaft. Dieses Ziel verfolgte er bereits vor dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion. So war 1979 das Eingreifen der Sowjetunion in den afghanischen Bürgerkrieg ein wohl kalkulierter Schachzug Brzezińskis. Laut der offiziellen US-amerikanischen Version begann die Unterstützung von afghanischen Rebellen, wie der Terrorgruppe Mudschaheddin, durch die CIA erst im Laufe des Jahres 1980, also nach dem Eingreifen der sowjetischen Armee in Afghanistan, am 25. Dezember 1979. Doch Jahre später, im Januar 1998, gab Brzeziński in einem Interview mit der französischen Zeitschrift „Le Nouvel Observateur“ zu, dass Jimmy Carter bereits am 3. Juli 1979, knapp ein halbes Jahr vor dem sowjetischen Einmarsch, eine Verfügung zur geheimen Unterstützung afghanischer Rebellen unterzeichnete. Wie spekuliert, reagierte die Sowjetarmee auf die Provokation und marschierte in Afghanistan ein. Brzeziński sagte: „Diese verdeckte Operation war eine hervorragende Idee. Sie bewirkte, dass die Russen in die afghanische Falle tappten […]. Am Tag, an dem die Russen offiziell die Grenze überschritten, schrieb ich Präsident Carter: Jetzt haben wir die Möglichkeit, der UdSSR ihren Vietnamkrieg zu liefern. Und tatsächlich sah sich Moskau während der folgenden zehn Jahre gezwungen, einen Krieg zu führen, den sich die Regierung nicht leisten konnte, was wiederum die Demoralisierung und schließlich den Zusammenbruch des sowjetischen Herrschaftsgebiets zur Folge hatte.“
Durch diesen und weitere Schachzüge standen schließlich die USA als einzige verbliebene Weltmacht da. Als im Jahr 2000 Vladimir Putin zum neuen Präsidenten Russlands gewählt wurde, war Brzeziński über ein mögliches Wiedererstarken Russlands beunruhigt. Aus diesem Grund wurde er einer der stärksten Befürworter der bereits 1997 begonnenen Erweiterung der NATO.
Aus geostrategischen Gründen befürwortete Brzeziński zahlreiche Kriege. 1999 trat er für die Bombardierung Serbiens während des Kosovokrieges ein, um die NATO-Osterweiterung voranzutreiben. Weiter unterstützte er 2011 die Militärintervention in Libyen, geißelte ein Nichteingreifen als „moralisch zweifelhaft“ und „politisch fragwürdig“. Im Februar 2014 begrüßte und unterstützte er auf der Sicherheitskonferenz in München den Kiewer Maidan und den Sturz des damaligen ukrainischen Präsidenten Wiktor Janukowytsch als demokratische Erneuerung. Brzeziński’s Ziel war aber ein anderes, denn „ohne die Ukraine könne Russland nie wieder Supermacht werden“.
Unter dem Deckmantel der Demokratie trug Brzeziński dazu bei, dass zahlreiche Länder ins Chaos gestürzt und hunderttausende Menschen getötet wurden. Kriege wurden angezettelt, um Nationen und ganze Regionen zu schwächen, damit die weltweite US-Vormachtstellung sichergestellt werden konnte.
Das Beispiel Brzeziński zeigt, dass sich hinter Kriegen und sonstigen Unruheherden dieser Welt Drahtzieher mit Namen verbergen. Brzeziński war einer, doch wird ...

Später zog er in die USA und wurde 1958 US-amerikanischer Staatsbürger. 1966 wurde er Berater von Präsident Lyndon B. Johnson.
Obwohl sich Zbigniew Brzeziński in seinen letzten Lebensjahren gegen den Irakkrieg und gegen das Eingreifen der USA in Syrien äußerte, darf dies nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, wie er mit Kalkül seine Ziele verfolgte und dadurch ganze Völker in Elend und Tod trieb. Seine Bestrebungen legte er 1997 in seinem Buch „Die einzige Weltmacht“ offen dar: Dort beschrieb er die geopolitische Strategie der USA als erste, einzige und letzte Weltmacht nach dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion, wie folgt: „Inwieweit die USA ihre globale Vormachtstellung geltend machen können, hängt aber davon ab, wie ein weltweit engagiertes Amerika mit den komplexen Machtverhältnissen auf dem eurasischen Kontinent fertig wird — und ob es dort das Aufkommen einer dominierenden, gegnerischen Macht verhindern kann.“ Insbesondere die Isolierung Russlands sei oberstes Ziel zur Erhaltung der US-Vorherrschaft. Dieses Ziel verfolgte er bereits vor dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion. So war 1979 das Eingreifen der Sowjetunion in den afghanischen Bürgerkrieg ein wohl kalkulierter Schachzug Brzezińskis. Laut der offiziellen US-amerikanischen Version begann die Unterstützung von afghanischen Rebellen, wie der Terrorgruppe Mudschaheddin, durch die CIA erst im Laufe des Jahres 1980, also nach dem Eingreifen der sowjetischen Armee in Afghanistan, am 25. Dezember 1979. Doch Jahre später, im Januar 1998, gab Brzeziński in einem Interview mit der französischen Zeitschrift „Le Nouvel Observateur“ zu, dass Jimmy Carter bereits am 3. Juli 1979, knapp ein halbes Jahr vor dem sowjetischen Einmarsch, eine Verfügung zur geheimen Unterstützung afghanischer Rebellen unterzeichnete. Wie spekuliert, reagierte die Sowjetarmee auf die Provokation und marschierte in Afghanistan ein. Brzeziński sagte: „Diese verdeckte Operation war eine hervorragende Idee. Sie bewirkte, dass die Russen in die afghanische Falle tappten […]. Am Tag, an dem die Russen offiziell die Grenze überschritten, schrieb ich Präsident Carter: Jetzt haben wir die Möglichkeit, der UdSSR ihren Vietnamkrieg zu liefern. Und tatsächlich sah sich Moskau während der folgenden zehn Jahre gezwungen, einen Krieg zu führen, den sich die Regierung nicht leisten konnte, was wiederum die Demoralisierung und schließlich den Zusammenbruch des sowjetischen Herrschaftsgebiets zur Folge hatte.“
Durch diesen und weitere Schachzüge standen schließlich die USA als einzige verbliebene Weltmacht da. Als im Jahr 2000 Vladimir Putin zum neuen Präsidenten Russlands gewählt wurde, war Brzeziński über ein mögliches Wiedererstarken Russlands beunruhigt. Aus diesem Grund wurde er einer der stärksten Befürworter der bereits 1997 begonnenen Erweiterung der NATO.
Aus geostrategischen Gründen befürwortete Brzeziński zahlreiche Kriege. 1999 trat er für die Bombardierung Serbiens während des Kosovokrieges ein, um die NATO-Osterweiterung voranzutreiben. Weiter unterstützte er 2011 die Militärintervention in Libyen, geißelte ein Nichteingreifen als „moralisch zweifelhaft“ und „politisch fragwürdig“. Im Februar 2014 begrüßte und unterstützte er auf der Sicherheitskonferenz in München den Kiewer Maidan und den Sturz des damaligen ukrainischen Präsidenten Wiktor Janukowytsch als demokratische Erneuerung. Brzeziński’s Ziel war aber ein anderes, denn „ohne die Ukraine könne Russland nie wieder Supermacht werden“.
Unter dem Deckmantel der Demokratie trug Brzeziński dazu bei, dass zahlreiche Länder ins Chaos gestürzt und hunderttausende Menschen getötet wurden. Kriege wurden angezettelt, um Nationen und ganze Regionen zu schwächen, damit die weltweite US-Vormachtstellung sichergestellt werden konnte.

This is the former President of the United States here, not some schlub who just read a Mark Lane book, and he's talking about the motivations of Oswald and others who might have been involved, to Walter Fucking Cronkite. What can he do now, but ask Cronkite not to broadcast this unbelievable answer? And our kindly Uncle Walter obliges.
It seems weird that LBJ would bring up "international connections" 6 years later, but this is part of the original cover story. There had to be an implication of international connections in order to convince Earl Warren and others that confirming the lone gunman theory was necessary to avoiding the possibility of WW3. "Oswald Done It Himself," avoids Cuban and Soviet involvement. The conspirators provided just enough false implication of international connections to create a reason for relatively honest men to join the cover up.
Ruby's Warren Commission testimony is sometimes quoted out of context. There, he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson, he says, to convince him that he was not involved with the Kennedy assassination plot. Perhaps the key point is that he wants to talk to Lyndon Johnson. He has just been sentenced to death for killing Oswald, and he had probably been promised to get off lightly, the way Mac Wallace had got away with murder. Later, he blames "the man in office now," and he never sounds more sane than when he says that. The Weissman ad was probably planted just to give him a reason to shoot Oswald. Why did he wake up George Senator in the middle of the night to go look at a billboard and go to the post office? Because Senator would make a good corroborating witness to his motivations. But, when Johnson didn't come through for him, he pointed the finger of blame.
It is interesting to note how close Ruby kept to Senator. In November 1962, Senator moved into a new apartment, and, according to Senator's testimony to the Warren Commission, within a week Ruby moved into the next door apartment. The adjoining apartment. They shared a wall. One year before the assassination Ruby moved in next door to his future character witness. This apartment was less than a mile away from Oswald's famous "backyard," and about 4 blocks from where Tippit would die. And this was about the same time that George de Mohrenschildt was getting to know his new friend Lee ("I think in the summer of 1962"), and about the same time that Michael Paine moved out of his house ("Michael moved to an apartment in September of 1962"). The scene was being set a year in advance.
That's Janet "Jada" Conforto, at this time, a former dancer in Ruby's club. She also mentioned in the video that she thought that Jack particularly didn't like Bobby Kennedy, which isn't surprising given the fact that Jack had gangster friends. It is also priceless how she looks at the interviewer when he suddenly starts talking as if she is not there. You'll find the interview is on YouTube somewhere, if you search for it. She died in the 70's riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a bus.
Jada, here, says that she doesn't think Ruby loved Kennedy that much. In part of this interview not shown here, she emphasizes how he disliked Bobby. I just yesterday saw another interview with another dancer who related how upset Ruby was with the assassination of his "beloved" president. This seems to be a contradiction, but when you realize that Jada had left the Carousel Club long before the assassination and that the other dancer was working there at the time of the assassination, then it makes sense. Ruby didn't like the Kennedys, but he was putting on to explain the motive for what he was about to do, to kill Oswald. Ruby was pretending to be upset that JFK had been murdered. He really didn't like the Kennedys.

Later, he blames "the man in office now," and he never sounds more sane than when he says that. The Weissman ad was probably planted just to give him a reason to shoot Oswald. Why did he wake up George Senator in the middle of the night to go look at a billboard and go to the post office? Because Senator would make a good corroborating witness to his motivations. But, when Johnson didn't come through for him, he pointed the finger of blame.
It is interesting to note how close Ruby kept to Senator. In November 1962, Senator moved into a new apartment, and, according to Senator's testimony to the Warren Commission, within a week Ruby moved into the next door apartment. The adjoining apartment. They shared a wall. One year before the assassination Ruby moved in next door to his future character witness. This apartment was less than a mile away from Oswald's famous "backyard," and about 4 blocks from where Tippit would die. And this was about the same time that George de Mohrenschildt was getting to know his new friend Lee ("I think in the summer of 1962"), and about the same time that Michael Paine moved out of his house ("Michael moved to an apartment in September of 1962"). The scene was being set a year in advance.
That's Janet "Jada" Conforto, at this time, a former dancer in Ruby's club. She also mentioned in the video that she thought that Jack particularly didn't like Bobby Kennedy, which isn't surprising given the fact that Jack had gangster friends. It is also priceless how she looks at the interviewer when he suddenly starts talking as if she is not there. You'll find the interview is on YouTube somewhere, if you search for it. She died in the 70's riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a bus.
Jada, here, says that she doesn't think Ruby loved Kennedy that much. In part of this interview not shown here, she emphasizes how he disliked Bobby. I just yesterday saw another interview with another dancer who related how upset Ruby was with the assassination of his "beloved" president. This seems to be a contradiction, but when you realize that Jada had left the Carousel Club long before the assassination and that the other dancer was working there at the time of the assassination, then it makes sense. Ruby didn't like the Kennedys, but he was putting on to explain the motive for what he was about to do, to kill Oswald. Ruby was pretending to be upset that JFK had been murdered. He really didn't like the Kennedys.
