Bury them LOL. Axial honcho 6X6 with RC4WD snow plow and stock Pisten Bully 600 from www.dickietoys.de. Doing some work in the sand pits of Douglasdale, burying a Dodge Hpi E-10 drifter.
Terry from RcTrailBlazr and I are getting some practise before the winter snow comes and got our plows going. We hit up the local sand pit and needed something to bury, so we borrowed Will Hpi drifter for practise time :-) Terry's snow cat is a pretty sweet RC for a toy grade RC but with a few upgrade and mods, it will be an awesome snow machine. RC CWR is Remote Control Chris Will Rappel. We are a father (Chris) 'n son (Will) team in Calgary Alberta, enjoying the hobby of RCs. Our collection of RCs include the crawlers Axial Wraith, Honcho SCX10, and Dingo SCX-10. Twin Hammer VW bug aka THug for scaling, bashing and hydroplaning with paddle tires on. For bashers we have the Traxxas Slash 2wd and Bandit. Drifter cars and or truck HPI Sprint 2 FLUZ and E-10. Scaler Tamiya F-350 and a cross over wraith axles under a bruiser chassis and body. Next are the Micro or mini Losi Trail Trekker and crawler customized 6X6 rally trucks flat beds and a short course truck. Another trekker is made into a custom 1/10 quad, with rider, for the axial scale adventures. We also have a 1/24 scale forklift from INDUSTRY FORK CAR, that helps out with our custom builds. 2 Forces of Valor tanks that are 1/16 scale and can shoot each other with infra red lights. Protocol helicopters one TOUGH Copter and one STEALTH HAWK. Hobby Zone Super Cub with a drop module. Pro Boat Mini -- V and a Blackjack 26 that is now a full time snow boat, weather permitting of course. Snowboating can be very hard on boats and boaters FYI. NQD Tear Into jet boat with Traxxas VXL brushless system. We have made custom built flat deck trailers and 5th wheels for our trucks to pull along on our journeys through the parks and trails around Calgary and area. Plus a custom camper that rides in the back of PJ the Jeep Cherokee. As much fun as they are to drive scale crawl or bash, we enjoy the building and planning of new builds just as much. Nothing can beat the feeling of pride when a father and son team test drive a custom designed and built RC. No sooner do we finish a build, we are already talking and planning the next build. I've been asked a couple of time in the past about how I clean my RCs and, although it may be a fairly tedious thing to do, it is just as much a part of the hobby and running them.
I used the Pro-Line Pro2 as my test subject for this video as it was filthy from the muddy run and punishment I put it through on it's first time hitting the dirt.

Q: Why haven't you made new videos since 2013?
A: My local RC track facility was forced to move a long ways away. Meanwhile, nearly every open space in my heavily populated area is explicitly, legally off-limits to RCs and regularly patrolled by rangers and/or police and I've been kicked out too many times. I have absolutely NO good place to legally drive & film within a reasonable distance and there is nothing I can do to change this.
Q: Have you created a new RC channel?
A: No. Beware of shameless lying impostors :) If you don't see something posted by a verified account of mine on UltimateRC.com itself, assume it's false, including "screenshots" as they are easier than anything to fake.
Q: Will you come back to RC?
A: Most likely no.
Q: Why did you disable comments on existing videos on this channel?
A: You know, *most* RC hobbyists are cool folks. YouTube though, harbors an extraordinarily large population of the most vitriolic, extremist brand loyalists & haters who make it their life's purpose for weeks at a time to develop and then spread the most ridiculous fabricated stories to try to tear down a guy who happened upon a little success & popularity as a result of working hard & sharing something he loves to do. I don't have time for that mess; I choose focus on the good stuff in life!

This is a 100" Meister Scale Corsair which I purchased used from a local builder. It had many flights on it. The plane is just OK looking, with just one of the three sets of flaps, the covering not too good, and air retracts which did not work too well. However, it is a good test bed for the Moki 150 radial.
The first few flights were without the cowl. I used the standard spinner for use with an electric starter. The first time I started the engine I could not start it by hand. With the electric starter, after about 4 seconds with the choke off the engine started. After this, subsequent starts, even days or weeks later, did not require the starter, though I left the spinner in place just in case. We eventually removed the spinner and installed the cowl. While the plane was well balanced without the cowl, the weight of the cowl made the plane nose heavy. We are moving the batteries back to compensate.
We used Pennzoil air cooled oil at 32:1. This seems to be too much oil. We put the Hitec telemetry system with temp readout on the #3 cylinder. This cylinder is notoriously cooler than the rest and often times will drop out if the engine is set too rich or if there is too much oil. We were able to monitor the cylinder temp remotely using the Hitec system. The #3 cylinder remained cooler than the rest, though inverted flight brought the temperature up to normal. We proved that it was a gravity related issue. On yesterday's flight we must have flown too long upright, too rich and with too much oil. The #3 cylinder apparently dropped out because the temperature was about 110 degrees. Flying inverted for an extended did not increase the temperature. Therefore the plug must have fouled. More tests to follow.
We did see an improvement using a velocity stack in the engine, but we did not install one on the Corsair yet. We will install it later for testing.

Jeep Wrangler
The Jeep Wrangler is a compact and mid-size (Wrangler Unlimited models) four-wheel drive off-road and sport utility vehicle (SUV), manufactured by Jeep, and is currently in its third generation. The Wrangler is not a direct descendant of the World War II Willys MB or Willys civilian Jeeps (Jeep CJ) of the mid-1940s through 1980s, later produced by Kaiser-Jeep and by American Motors (AMC), despite this common misconception, and as illustrated by the factory dash plaques affixed to the last Jeeps (CJ-7) produced, that read "Last of a Great Breed – This collectors edition CJ ends an era that began with the legendary Jeep of World War II".
Outwardly resembling the Jeep CJ-7, the Wrangler, which was formally announced on May 13, 1986, was based on a new set of design parameters. "The product philosophy behind the two vehicles" Francios Castaing (AMC VP of Product Engineering) explained, "is completely different". Just like the Willys MB and the Jeep CJ, Wranglers continue to use a separate body and frame (although of a new design), rigid live axles both front and rear, a fold-flat windshield, and can be driven without doors. But its suspension, drivetrain, and interior were borrowed from the new Cherokee (XJ) model. The Wrangler debuted in 1986 as a new model to fill the void left by the discontinuance of the famous Jeep model (CJ), was revised in 1996, and completely redesigned in 2007. In addition to the model name Wrangler, each model received a designation corresponding to its generation: YJ (1986–1995), TJ (1996–2006), TJU's (commonly known as LJ's- 2004–2006 Unlimited models, or YJL, in the Egyptian owners manual.), JKU (2007–present Unlimited models) and JK (2007–present). Foreign military versions of the Wrangler have carried the J8 designation which was initially dubbed TJL when first produced at Arab American Vehicle's Egyptian plant.

Bury them LOL. Axial honcho 6X6 with RC4WD snow plow and stock Pisten Bully 600 from www.dickietoys.de. Doing some work in the sand pits of Douglasdale, burying a Dodge Hpi E-10 drifter. Terry from RcTrailBlazr and I are getting some practise before the winter snow comes and got our plows going. We hit up the local sand pit and needed something to bury, so we borrowed Will Hpi drifter for practise time :-) Terry's snow cat is a pretty sweet RC for a toy grade RC but with a few upgrade and mods, it will be an awesome snow machine. The RC Pit-Stop EP17 - How I clean my RCs (Pro-Line Pro2) I've been asked a couple of time in the past about how I clean my RCs and, although it may be a fairly tedious thing to do, it is just as much a part of the hobby and running them. I used the Pro-Line Pro2 as my test subject for this video as it was filthy from the muddy run and punishment I put it through on it's first time hitting the dirt. Meanwhile, nearly every open space in my heavily populated area is explicitly, legally off-limits to RCs and regularly patrolled by rangers and/or police and I've been kicked out too many times. I have absolutely NO good place to legally drive & film within a reasonable distance and there is nothing I can do to change this. Q: Have you created a new RC channel? 100" Meister Scale Corsair - RCS 150cc Radial Engine
This is a 100" Meister Scale Corsair which I purchased used from a local builder. It had many flights on it. The plane is just OK looking, with just one of the three sets of flaps, the covering not too good, and air retracts which did not work too well. However, it is a good test bed for the Moki 150 radial. The first few flights were without the cowl. I used the standard spinner for use with an electric starter. The first time I started the engine I could not start it by hand. With the electric starter, after about 4 seconds with the choke off the engine started. After this, subsequent starts, even days or weeks later, did not require the starter, though I left the spinner in place just in case. We eventually removed the spinner and installed the cowl. Terry from RcTrailBlazr and I are getting some practise before the winter snow comes and got our plows going. We hit up the local sand pit and needed something to bury, so we borrowed Will Hpi drifter for practise time :-) Terry's snow cat is a pretty sweet RC for a toy grade RC but with a few upgrade and mods, it will be an awesome snow machine. RC CWR is Remote Control Chris Will Rappel. We are a father (Chris) 'n son (Will) team in Calgary Alberta, enjoying the hobby of RCs. Our collection of RCs include the crawlers Axial Wraith, Honcho SCX10, and Dingo SCX-10. Twin Hammer VW bug aka THug for scaling, bashing and hydroplaning with paddle tires on. For bashers we have the Traxxas Slash 2wd and Bandit. Drifter cars and or truck HPI Sprint 2 FLUZ and E-10. Scaler Tamiya F-350 and a cross over wraith axles under a bruiser chassis and body. Next are the Micro or mini Losi Trail Trekker and crawler customized 6X6 rally trucks flat beds and a short course truck. Another trekker is made into a custom 1/10 quad, with rider, for the axial scale adventures. We also have a 1/24 scale forklift from INDUSTRY FORK CAR, that helps out with our custom builds. 2 Forces of Valor tanks that are 1/16 scale and can shoot each other with infra red lights. Protocol helicopters one TOUGH Copter and one STEALTH HAWK. Hobby Zone Super Cub with a drop module. Pro Boat Mini -- V and a Blackjack 26 that is now a full time snow boat, weather permitting of course. Snowboating can be very hard on boats and boaters FYI. NQD Tear Into jet boat with Traxxas VXL brushless system. We have made custom built flat deck trailers and 5th wheels for our trucks to pull along on our journeys through the parks and trails around Calgary and area. Plus a custom camper that rides in the back of PJ the Jeep Cherokee. As much fun as they are to drive scale crawl or bash, we enjoy the building and planning of new builds just as much. Nothing can beat the feeling of pride when a father and son team test drive a custom designed and built RC. No sooner do we finish a build, we are already talking and planning the next build. The first few flights were without the cowl. I used the standard spinner for use with an electric starter. The first time I started the engine I could not start it by hand. With the electric starter, after about 4 seconds with the choke off the engine started. After this, subsequent starts, even days or weeks later, did not require the starter, though I left the spinner in place just in case. We eventually removed the spinner and installed the cowl. While the plane was well balanced without the cowl, the weight of the cowl made the plane nose heavy. We are moving the batteries back to compensate.
We used Pennzoil air cooled oil at 32:1. This seems to be too much oil. We put the Hitec telemetry system with temp readout on the #3 cylinder. This cylinder is notoriously cooler than the rest and often times will drop out if the engine is set too rich or if there is too much oil. We were able to monitor the cylinder temp remotely using the Hitec system. The #3 cylinder remained cooler than the rest, though inverted flight brought the temperature up to normal. We proved that it was a gravity related issue. On yesterday's flight we must have flown too long upright, too rich and with too much oil. The #3 cylinder apparently dropped out because the temperature was about 110 degrees. Flying inverted for an extended did not increase the temperature. Therefore the plug must have fouled. More tests to follow.
We did see an improvement using a velocity stack in the engine, but we did not install one on the Corsair yet. We will install it later for testing.
