Choreography

Choreography is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies (or their depictions) in which motion, form, or both are specified. Choreography may also refer to the design itself. A choreographer is one who creates choreographies by practicing the art of choreography, a process known as choreographing. Choreography is used in a variety of fields, including cheerleading, cinematography, gymnastics, fashion shows, ice skating, marching band, show choir, theatre, synchronized swimming, video game production and animated art. In the performing arts, choreography applies to human movement and form. In dance, choreography is also known as dance choreography or dance composition.

The word choreography literally means "dance-writing" from the Greek words "χορεία" (circular dance, see choreia) and "γραφή" (writing). It first appeared in the American English dictionary in the 1950s, and "choreographer" was first used as a credit for George Balanchine in the Broadway show On Your Toes in 1936. Prior to this, stage credits and movie credits used phrases such as "ensembles staged by", "dances staged by", or simply "dances by" to denote the choreographer.

Galen Hooks

Galen Hooks (born November 19, 1985) is an American choreographer, dancer, actress, songwriter, and photographer. She entered the entertainment business at age seven after her dance group won Star Search. She has worked with Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Ne-Yo, and Usher. Galen is best known for being one of Janet Jackson's dancers, for her Nike campaigns, for being a dancer and choreographer for The LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers), and for playing Diamond Eye and Pretti Sinclair in recording artist Ne-Yo's "Beautiful Monster", "Champagne Life", and "One in a Million" music videos. She was also the associate co-choreographer for the international tour of Dreamgirls and its run at the Apollo Theater in New York.

Hooks is currently the head choreographer for the hit Nickelodeon show "How To Rock" starring Cymphonique Miller.

She is now expanding beyond dance and choreography into Creative Direction and Producing. She was the Supervising Choreographer under the master creative director Jamie King on season 3 of X-Factor USA and the Associate Creative Producer with Brian Burke on America's Got Talent.

Nicki Minaj

Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1982), professionally known by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer and songwriter. Born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago and raised in South Jamaica, Queens, New York, Minaj earned public attention after releasing three mixtapes between 2007–09. She signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009.

Minaj's debut studio album, Pink Friday (2010), peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and spawned the top-five single "Super Bass". During that time, Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Her second studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012), also topped the chart and its lead single, the pop crossover "Starships", peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Minaj's third studio album, The Pinkprint (2014), was preceded by its second single, "Anaconda", which peaked at number two on the Hot 100 and is her highest-charting single in the United States to date. Minaj made her film debut in the 2012 animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift, and also had a supporting role in the 2014 film The Other Woman. In 2013, she was a judge on the twelfth season of American Idol.

Shape of You (Reshaped)

"Shape of You (Reshaped)" was the fourth and final single from Beverley Knight's album, Who I Am. It was a remix of the album track "Shape of You", featuring new vocals, lyrics and production by Wyclef Jean and was included on a re-release of the album in 2003. The remixed track was originally due for release in November 2002 but due to promotional reasons it was put back until early 2003. The single was a limited edition, containing a sticker, which by UK chart rules makes the single unable to qualify for the charts. The B-side "Whatever's Clever" has been release as a single in several south European countries, like Italy or Switzerland.

The video for the single was directed by Max & Dania.
