Eve Arden (April 30, 1908 – November 12, 1990) was an American actress. Her almost 60-year career crossed most media frontiers with both supporting and leading roles, but to younger audiences she may be best-remembered for playing the sardonic but engaging title character, a high school teacher, on Our Miss Brooks, and as the Rydell High School principal in both Grease and Grease 2
Arden was born Eunice Mary Quedens (pronounced qwi-DENZ) on April 30, 1908 in Mill Valley, California to Charles Peter Quedens, son of Charles Henry Augustus and Meta L. (née Dierks) Quedens, and Lucille (née Frank) Quedens, daughter of Bernard and Louisa (née Mertens) Frank. Her parents divorced when she was a child and she was sent to a Catholic boarding school, and later attended Tamalpais High School, a public high school, until age 16. After leaving school, she joined a stock theater company. She made her film debut, under her real name, in the backstage musical Song of Love (1929). She played a wisecracking showgirl who becomes a rival to the film's star, singer Belle Baker. The film was one of Columbia Pictures' earliest successes.
Eve (Hebrew: חַוָּה, Classical Hebrew: Ḥawwāh, Modern Israeli Hebrew: Chavah, Arabic: حواء, Syriac: ܚܘܐ, Tigrinya: ሕይዋን? or Hiywan) is a figure in the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible. According to the creation myth of the Abrahamic religions, she was the first woman. In Islamic tradition, Eve is known as Adam's wife although she is not specifically named in the Qur'an.
Our Miss Brooks is an American situation comedy starring Eve Arden as a sardonic high school English teacher. It began as a radio show broadcast on CBS from 1948 to 1957. When the show was adapted to television (1952–56), it became one of the medium's earliest hits. In 1956, the sitcom was adapted for big screen in the film of the same name.

This is a tribute to one of the most underrated female comic actresses of our time, the lovely Ms. Eve Arden. She worked in all the mediums from Movies to Broadway to TV and was brilliant in anything she tackled. She was best known for her role in the classic TV series Our Miss Brooks, as Eve Hubbard in The Mothers-In-Law and of course that wacky principal in Grease/Grease 2. The background music is Hard Hearted Hannah by Kay Starr. Its always been one of my favorite old standards and I thought it sounded like something that Eve may have recorded if the chance had arose very much her style.
Eve Arden, Sally Field and John Davidson star in the 1974 sitcom episode, "The Greening of Aunt Fran," co-starring William Windom, Jack Sheldon and Zohra Lambert.

A different kind of role for "Miss Brooks" as she plays a self-made society girl who grew up in Hell's Kitchen. In the story, she was recently recognized as one of the "best-dressed" women in America. She meets one of NYC's best dressed men and quickly falls in love with the guy. It was the largest gathering of little people ever, drawn from all over to appear in the movie of a classic children’s story. They weren’t in Kansas anymore. They were in Hollywood, home of wide-open lifestyles and nonstop parties. This colorful screwball comedy uses the premise of 150 little people playing The Wizard of Oz’s Munchkins housed in one Culver City hotel – and indulging in some high-energy partying – to spin zany screen mayhem with touches of romance (between G-man Chevy Chase and casting maven Carrie Fisher) and cockeyed espionage (involving German agent Billy Barty and Japanese spy Mako). Co-stars Eve Arden, Adam Arkin, Joseph Maher and Pat McCormick deliver tall orders of laughter, while smashing into small-fry shenanigans at every turn. There’s no place like…Under the Rain...

★THE TRIBULATION has begun everyone, the world is in a big mess right now as we speak according to the prophecies of the Bible! Never in the making of history will mankind ever see the things that are about to soon take place! And, the worst is yet to come according to the prophecies of the Bible that God warns us ahead of time roughly 2000 years ago, because of the increase wickedness, lawlessness, violence, bloodshed, war in the world right now as we speak, the heart of most will grow cold, and if mankind continues this chaos, growth of reproduction in the human race will also cease because of this bitterness; and the world will soon crumble and fall away, any way’s, because of this; and this needs to be stopped! From the way she wears her hair,
To the polish on her feet,
I know she's what I need.
And everywhere I go,
I can't help but let it show, I'm in love.
Oh no no,
My world keeps spinning going round and round
Girl I'm just sitting trying to figure out,
What I'm to do cause I'm just passing time,
You're all I've got on my mind.
So I forget what I gotta do,
Cause nothing else matters when I'm with you.
All the money in the world just won't do,
Cause your love is priceless girl,
And nothing else matters but you.
No, no nothing else matters,
No, no nothing else matters,
No, no nothing else matters,
Nothing else matters but you.
You got me smilin while I'm sitting at work,
Cause I love the way you wear my shirt,
It's the things you do girl.
Please don't wake me up if this is a dream,
Just let me sleep.
Oh, my world keeps spinning going round and round
Girl I'm just sitting trying to figure out,
What I'm to do cause I'm just passing time,
You're all I've got on my mind.
So I forget what I gotta do,
Cause nothing else matters when I'm with you.

Cause your love is priceless girl,
And nothing else matters but you.
No, no nothing else matters,
No, no nothing else matters,
No, no nothing else matters,
Nothing else matters but you.
Okay okay, what'd she say?
It don't even matter cause I got my baby.
And all the bills paid, hey, hey,
But it don't even matter if I got my baby.
Okay okay, what'd she say?
It don't even matter cause I got my baby.
And all the pills paid, hey, hey,
But it don't even matter.
So I forget what I gotta do,
Cause nothing else matters when I'm with you.

Cause your love is priceless girl,
