It's been 13 years since Ben Stiller's Dodgeball movie, co-starring Vince Vaughn and Stiller's then wife Christine Taylor, first hit theatres.

Now the cast of the comedy hit are back - and in character too - for a special video clip promoting a charity dodgeball game.

Suited and booted as villainous gym owner White Goodman, Stiller opens the video with the greeting, "Hello losers. Miss me?"

"Sorry to interrupt your internet life, but for the last 13 years, while I've been living a sugar-free, protein-forward lifestyle, I've watched as all of you have gotten fatter - and dumber."

While the clip conveniently overlooks the fact that the original movie ended with Goodman a heinously obese shut-in, it does hark back to some classic moments from the film, most memorably when Christine Taylor's character Kate vomits in her mouth at Goodman's lecherous advances.

This moment actually becomes a little more poignant when you take into account the fact that Taylor and Stiller only just announced their separation last month.

Proceeds from the charity dodgeball game - which two lucky members of the public will play in alongside Stiller and co - will be given to the Stiller Foundation, which the 51-year-old actor founded in 2010 to provide educational opportunities for children around the world.
