Here is what you'll need!
Easy Chicken Alfredo Penne
Servings: 6
INGREDIENTS
1½ pounds (700 grams) chicken breast, cubed
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
16 ounces (450 grams) penne pasta, cooked
¼ cup parsley
¼ cup parmesan, shredded
Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon basil
1/2 cup parmesan, shredded
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
PREPARATION
1. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter, then add the chicken breast.
2. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook 8-10 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set chicken aside.
3. In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the garlic. Cook until the garlic begins to soften.
4. Add half of the flour to the garlic and butter, stirring until incorporated. Then add the rest of the flour and stir.
5. Pour in the milk a little bit at a time, stirring well in between, until fully incorporated and sauce begins to thicken.
6. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil, and stir well to incorporate.
7. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
8. Pour the sauce over cooked penne pasta, add the chicken and mix well.
9. Add parsley and extra parmesan, and mix again.
10. Enjoy!

½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
16 ounces (450 grams) penne pasta, cooked
¼ cup parsley
¼ cup parmesan, shredded

2 tablespoons butter

2 cups milk
½ teaspoon oregano

PREPARATION
1. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter, then add the chicken breast.
2. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook 8-10 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set chicken aside.
3. In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the garlic. Cook until the garlic begins to soften.
4. Add half of the flour to the garlic and butter, stirring until incorporated. Then add the rest of the flour and stir.
5. Pour in the milk a little bit at a time, stirring well in between, until fully incorporated and sauce begins to thicken.
6. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil, and stir well to incorporate.
7. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
8. Pour the sauce over cooked penne pasta, add the chicken and mix well.
9. Add parsley and extra parmesan, and mix again.
10. Enjoy!

Barely 24 years old, Cuban-born and bred pianist Alfredo Rodriguez has taken the jazz music scene by storm. Over the last three years he's played festivals all over the world headlining with such jazz luminaries like McCoy Tyner and Herbie Hancock. He was discovered by the legendary Quincy Jones while playing a concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The two would become friends and they would continue to keep in touch with each other. Rodriguez is one of the best talents and pianists that came out of Cuba since Gonzalo Rubacaba, Roberto Fonseca, and Chucho Valdes. Meet Patrick, "The Great Alfredo." On a mission in life to make the world a happier place. For the documentary module summer tasks we were challenged to talk to someone we'd never spoken to before. I was really determined to do this well in this task because lack of confidence often hindered my life in a number of ways when I was younger, but I believe as I've grown older I've also grown in confidence. This was a good opportunity to put that to the test. I grabbed my camera bag and tripod one day and got the bus to Coventry, not having any idea who I was going to interview or where to even start. In January of 2009, the young Alfredo made the decision to leave Cuba, leaving his mom, dad, and long-time girlfriend, to risk being arrested and deported back to Cuba. He was on tour with is father's band and he told him that he was leaving. As luck would have it, the US Border Agents heard his story while he was detained and they let him in the US without any problems. Producer Quincy Jones wanted and tried to make arrangements with the young pianist to come to America and work, but couldn't due to political dictatorship and laws placed by the strict Cuban government.
Finally, when he came to the states, Quincy then signed him immediately and took Alfredo under his wing.

After The Rwanda Project Jaar continued to investigate the approach of western media to the African continent in Searching for Africa in LIFE and a similar project on Time Magazine. Both works show how the western media coverage of Africa is reduced to three subjects: animals, hunger and disease, while there is a lack of representation of African culture and life.
Jaar also explains why he does not like the term political artist, but feels everyone engages with the world: "Because we act in the world, so everything we do represents a conception of the world. In that sense we are all political." Without this engagement in the world, it is not art, but merely decoration.

For the documentary module summer tasks we were challenged to talk to someone we'd never spoken to before. I grabbed my camera bag and tripod one day and got the bus to Coventry, not having any idea who I was going to interview or where to even start. All I knew was Coventry certainly has some characters on offer. I spent around half an hour walking around town, but no one really stood out. I was on the look out for buskers, or anybody interesting really who looked approachable. I did a few laps of the city centre and was starting to think I'd have to come back another day when I heard a strum of a guitar and I stopped in my tracks. It was the opening chord to "Hound Dog" and I instantly knew that I had found my subject. I regret not asking him on the day, but then again I think the air of mystery it creates around his character aids the feeling of the film. For the documentary module summer tasks we were challenged to talk to someone we'd never spoken to before. I was really determined to do this well in this task because lack of confidence often hindered my life in a number of ways when I was younger, but I believe as I've grown older I've also grown in confidence. This was a good opportunity to put that to the test.
I grabbed my camera bag and tripod one day and got the bus to Coventry, not having any idea who I was going to interview or where to even start. All I knew was Coventry certainly has some characters on offer. I spent around half an hour walking around town, but no one really stood out. I was on the look out for buskers, or anybody interesting really who looked approachable. I did a few laps of the city centre and was starting to think I'd have to come back another day when I heard a strum of a guitar and I stopped in my tracks. It was the opening chord to "Hound Dog" and I instantly knew that I had found my subject.
