Venables is a surname of Norman–French origin, derived from the town of the same name in Normandy and introduced to England by way of the Norman conquest.
The Scots-English language name Bruce arrived in Scotland with the Normans, from the place name Brix of the Manche département in Normandy, France, meaning "the willowlands". Initially promulgated via the descendants of King Robert I of Scotland (Robert the Bruce) (1274-1329), it has been a Scottish surname since medieval times; it is now a common given name.
The variant Lebrix and Le Brix are French variations of the surname.
Peter William Sutcliffe (born 2 June 1946) is an English serial killer who was dubbed "The Yorkshire Ripper" by the press. In 1981 Sutcliffe was convicted of murdering 13 women and attempting to murder seven others.
Sutcliffe had regularly used prostitutes in Leeds and Bradford. His outbreak of violence towards them seems to have occurred because he was swindled out of money by a prostitute and her pimp, but he claimed when interviewed by authorities that the voice of God had sent him on a mission to kill prostitutes.
He carried out his murder spree over a five-year period, during which the public were especially shocked by the murders of some women who were not prostitutes. After his arrest in January 1981 for driving with false number-plates, police questioned him about the killings and he confessed that he was the perpetrator.
At his trial, he pleaded not guilty to murder on grounds of diminished responsibility, owing to a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, but this defence was rejected by a majority of the jury. He is serving twenty concurrent sentences of life imprisonment, currently in Broadmoor High Security Hospital. After his conviction, Sutcliffe began using his mother's maiden name and became Peter William Coonan.
Judith "Judy" Ann Nunn (AM) (born 13 April 1945) (also published under the pseudonym of Judy Bernard-Waite) is an Australian actress, author and screenwriter. Nun was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2015 Australia Day Honours for her service to the performing arts as a scriptwriter and actor of stage and screen, and to literature as an author.
After many years as a leading stage actor, her breakout television role was as the scheming bisexual reporter Vicky Stafford in the risque soap opera The Box. Her character became a popular cult figure in the series. Nunn continued in the role for the show's entire 1974–1977 run. In 1979 she briefly played Joyce Martin in the Australian TV series Prisoner and after that had a lengthy spell as Dr. Irene Fisher in Sons and Daughters from 1984 until 1986.
Her role as Ailsa Stewart in the soap opera Home and Away, from 1988 until the character was killed off in 2000, is probably Nunn's most famous role. In 2002 she returned to the role as a ghost that only her former on-screen husband, Alf Stewart, could see.
Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of taking a stand against preternatural evil forces. It is based on the belief in evil spirits which are able to intervene in human affairs. Various Christian groups have adopted practices to repel such forces, as based on their doctrine of Christian demonology. Prayer is a common form of spiritual warfare among Christians. Other practices may include exorcisms, laying-on of hands, fasting, or anointing with oil.
Jewish demonology escalated with the rise of Jewish pseudepigraphic writings of the 1st Century BCE, in particular with Enochic apocrypha. Jewish apocrypha initially influenced post-New Testament writings of the early fathers, which further defined Christian demonology. Thus followed literary works such as The Didache, The Shepherd of Hermas, Ignatius's epistle to the Ephesians, and Origen's Contra Celsum.
Mainstream Christianity typically acknowledge a belief in the reality (or ontological existence) of demons, fallen angels, the Devil in Christianity and Satan. In Christian evangelism, doctrines of demonology are influenced by interpretations of the New Testament, namely with the Gospels, in that dealing with spirits became a customary activity of Jesus' ministry. Mark states that "he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons" (Mark 1:39).

The “Bruce & Denny Show” of 1967-1970 saw unprecedented domination in the infamous Can-Am championship - the unrestricted race class that was the birthplace of cutting-edge technology and some of the most powerful race cars in history. Whilst never having raced in the Group 5 championship, the striking McLaren orange M6A that debuted in the 1967 Can-Am season brought a string of successes and gave birth to the legend of the fledging team piloted by New Zealander Bruce McLaren - a true outsider, without the backing nor budget of a manufacturer. 46 years after his tragic passing in a testing accident, we celebrate Bruce’s dream of building a closed cockpit racer at the very same circuit through Herr Thomas Studer’s magnificent M6B/GT. In today's security landscape, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) needs to be more than just the person in charge of keeping hackers out, the CISO needs to be a business executive that is focused on managing business risk. Many organizations today still do not view the CISO position this way, but if your organization does not have someone that is focused on managing security as a business risk, how can you ensure you have the proper resources in place in the event of an attack? Whether your organization has a CISO, is hesitant to add a CISO to your organization, or you yourself are interested in becoming a CISO, view this webinar to learn more.
We always have to keep in mind that a Documentary, after all, can tell lies and it can tell lies because it lays claim to a form of veracity which fiction doesn't. Some of the documentaries are made just to discredit some particular person, party, organization, system etc, but most of them here on TDF are non biased, without prejudice and worth watching.
