Just a short clip from the rare LIVE performance Hans Zimmer did of the Inception Movie Score.
This particular song is 'Mombasa'.'
I certainly hope Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan include the whole performance in the Inception DVD! I suspect it will be released (the dvd of the movie) in December 2010 (that's when the Dark Knight dvd was released).

Both cameras were recording to 1920 x 1080p at 25 fps with zooms on max-wide. The Panasonic GH2 is running the Sanity5 firmware patch ( the supposedly mild hack that still has the power to occasionally freeze a 95mbs/64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro), the Sony HDR-CX730 is bog-standard. Colour palettes were set to 'Standard' on the GH2 and 'Landscape' on the CX730.
GH2 was ƒ18 @ 100fps, ISO160 with manual infinity focus and level 1 of its Mega OIS. CX730 with its feeble manual options was on full-auto, so I have no clue what exposure settings it had selected, and its BOSS OIS was set at Standard.
Both cameras were carried by a Droidworx AD-8 HLE multi-rotor with a PhotoHigher AV200/360 gimbal (pan axis disabled) using a Picloc 3X Pro. Wind was gusting to 28kph (verify with the 'dancing tree' wind meter).
Camera files were imported into Final Cut Pro with Log & Transfer. No post processing has been applied, other than the split screen and captions.

Mombasa
Mombasa (/məmˈbɑːsə/; Kenyan English: [mɔmˈbɑːsə]) is a city on the coast of Kenya. It is the nation's second-largest city, after the capital Nairobi, with an estimated population of 1.2 million people in 2014. Administratively, Mombasa is the capital of Mombasa County, whose current governor is Hassan Ali Joho.
A regional cultural and economic hub, Mombasa has an extra-large port and an international airport, and is an important regional tourism centre. Located on the east coast of Kenya, in Mombasa County and the former Coast Province, Mombasa's situation on the Indian Ocean made it a historical trading centre, and it has been controlled by many countries because of its strategic location.
Description
The city had a population of 939,370 per the 2009 census. It is located on Mombasa Island and sprawls to the surrounding mainlands. The island is separated from the mainland by two creeks: Tudor Creek and Kilindini Harbour. It is connected to the mainland to the north by the Nyali Bridge, to the south by the Likoni Ferry, and to the west by the Makupa Causeway, alongside which runs the Kenya-Uganda Railway. The port serves both Kenya and countries of the interior, linking them to the ocean. The city is served by Moi International Airport located in the northwest mainland suburb of Chaani.

Hans Florian Zimmer (German pronunciation: [hans ˌfloːʁi̯aːn ˈtsɪmɐ]; born 12 September 1957) is a German composer and record producer. Since the 1980s, he has composed music for over 150 films. His works include The Lion King, for which he won Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1994, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Thin Red Line, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, and Interstellar.
Zimmer spent the early part of his career in the United Kingdom before moving to the United States. He is the head of the film music division at DreamWorks studios and works with other composers through the company that he founded, Remote Control Productions.
Zimmer's works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. He has received four Grammy Awards, three Classical BRIT Awards, two Golden Globes, and an Academy Award. He was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph.

Johnny Marr (born John Martin Maher; 31 October 1963) is an English musician, songwriter and singer. Between 1982 and 1987 he was the guitarist and – with Morrissey – co-songwriter of The Smiths, an English rock band formed in Manchester. Critics have called them the most important alternative rock band to emerge from the British independent music scene of the 1980s. Q magazine's Simon Goddard argued in 2007 that the Smiths were "the most influential British guitar group of the decade" and the "first indie outsiders to achieve mainstream success on their own terms".NME named The Smiths the "most influential artist ever" in a 2002 poll, even topping The Beatles.

Kenya (/ˈkɛnjə/; locally [ˈkɛɲa]), officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in Africa and a founding member of the East African Community (EAC). Its capital and largest city is Nairobi. Kenya's territory lies on the equator and overlies the East African Rift covering a diverse and expansive terrain that extends roughly from Lake Victoria to Lake Turkana (formerly called Lake Rudolf) and further south-east to the Indian Ocean. Further inland, in the Nyanza region, there is a hot and dry climate which becomes humid around Lake Victoria, the largest tropical fresh-water lake in the world. This gives way to temperate and forested hilly areas in the neighboring western region. The north-eastern regions along the border with Somalia and Ethiopia are arid and semi-arid areas with near-desert landscapes. Kenya is known for its safaris, diverse climate and geography, and expansive wildlife reserves and national parks such as the East and West Tsavo National Park, the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Aberdares National Park. Kenya has several world heritage sites such as Lamu and numerous beaches, including in Diani, Bamburi and Kilifi, where international yachting competitions are held every year.

Panasonic GH2 vs Sony CX730 comparison
Both cameras were recording to 1920 x 1080p at 25 fps with zooms on max-wide. The Panasonic GH2 is running the Sanity5 firmware patch ( the supposedly mild hack that still has the power to occasionally freeze a 95mbs/64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro), the Sony HDR-CX730 is bog-standard. Colour palettes were set to 'Standard' on the GH2 and 'Landscape' on the CX730. GH2 was ƒ18 @ 100fps, ISO160 with manual infinity focus and level 1 of its Mega OIS. CX730 with its feeble manual options was on full-auto, so I have no clue what exposure settings it had selected, and its BOSS OIS was set at Standard. Both cameras were carried by a Droidworx AD-8 HLE multi-rotor with a PhotoHigher AV200/360 gimbal (pan axis disabled) using a Picloc 3X Pro. Wind was gusting to 28kph (verify with the 'dancing tree' win...

Both cameras were recording to 1920 x 1080p at 25 fps with zooms on max-wide. The Panasonic GH2 is running the Sanity5 firmware patch ( the supposedly mild hack that still has the power to occasionally freeze a 95mbs/64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro), the Sony HDR-CX730 is bog-standard. Colour palettes were set to 'Standard' on the GH2 and 'Landscape' on the CX730.
GH2 was ƒ18 @ 100fps, ISO160 with manual infinity focus and level 1 of its Mega OIS. CX730 with its feeble manual options was on full-auto, so I have no clue what exposure settings it had selected, and its BOSS OIS was set at Standard.
Both cameras were carried by a Droidworx AD-8 HLE multi-rotor with a PhotoHigher AV200/360 gimbal (pan axis disabled) using a Picloc 3X Pro. Wind was gusting to 28kph (verify with the 'dancing tree' wind meter).
Camera files were imported into Final Cut Pro with Log & Transfer. No post processing has been applied, other than the split screen and captions.

Shot on the east coast of Kenya around Mombasa and Tsavo East/West during mine and my girlfriends holiday/volunteering trip to Utange village and Casuarina House orphanage. Our trip involved some incredible experiences including being able to go on Safari, see the Masai tribe, volunteer at the orphanage, spend time with some incredible people and get a taste of the real Africa!

Jonny here, right now I am at Borana Ranch, high on the Laikipia Plateau, in the lee of Mount Kenya. And in this short film I am going to talk about tourism in Kenya.
If I asked what's the first thing you think about when turning your mind to travel in this colourful East African country, you'd almost certainly say wildlife. And of course you'd be right as over 80 percent of holidays here will have a wildlife element.
From the Marsabit National Park in the north, to the Masai Mara and Amboseli National Parks in the south, the planes of Kenya are teeming with wildlife or all shapes and sizes offering, along with its neighbour Tanzania, the best place in the world to view game. And if you throw in Mount Kenya and the Aberdares, the Laikipia Plateau and the Matthews Range, the Lamu Archipelago and the rest of the Kenyan coast, and some of the most spectacular and evocative accommodation anywhere on earth, then here in Kenya you have a true world class travel experience.
The Masai Mara is probably the most famous national park. Covering more than 500sqm, the Mara is universally renowned for its exceptional populations of lion, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo and giraffe and for the famous migration of wildebeest that takes place every year from July to October.
But the Masai Mara is by no means the only show in town. Further to the east you have Amboseli National Park with its epic views of Kilimanjaro, to the north you have Samburu, Marsabit and Meru National Parks, and here on Laikipia, in the Lewa conservancy, where the savannah is awash with elephants, giraffe, the quirky Grevy zebra and a new and burgeoning population of black rhino.
And as for the accommodation, well that is quite simply out of this world. Yes, to get the best you're going to pay, but in our opinion the experience you'll enjoy and quality of service you'll receive -- plus of course the game you'll see -- does make this value for money. There is simply nothing else like it on earth. Among many amazing places to stay, my personal favourites are Else's Kopje in Meru, Saruni in Samburu, Richard's Camp or Serian in the Mara, and either Sabuk or Borana here on the Laikipia Plateau.
But tourism in Kenya is not only about wild animals. The Kenyan Coast, stretching all the way from Diani Beach in the south the Lamu archipelago in the north, with its white sand beaches and gentle turquoise seas -- particularly when the trade winds are blowing in the right direction from November through to March -- again coupled with some fabulous accommodation, combine to make this a truly world class beach experience.
And if you like to meet the people -- an important factor in most Wild Frontiers adventures -- there are plenty of opportunities, particularly at Sarara, in the Matthews Range, at Il Ngwesi north or Mount Kenya and here at Borana.
To get around there is are great quality land cruisers, a brilliant air service, either in scheduled flights or on private charters, a classic bi-plane, or if you really want to push the boat out and get to places few others can reach, a truly amazing helicopter service, run by our friends at Tropic Air.
A classic African safari is a travel experience like no other, and one that all travellers should do at least once in their lives. And for that, in my opinion, there's nowhere better than Kenya.

This is a journey into Kenya’s origins and its uncertain future. We travel along the colony’s iron foundations, the railway lines laid by the British imperialists as they raced to create a passage to Lake Victoria from Mombasa. 120 years later, the same railway is enjoyed by tourists seeking a taste of the vintage African safari, with luxury 1st-class carriages and pressed napkins. To either side of their trammelled way lie the gleaming metropolis of Nairobi, the rolling ranchers’ pastures and the sprawling slums of Kibera.
Shot on SD and 8mm film, this film takes the viewer on an experiential journey through different periods of history and levels of society: we are welcomed by a demented Mau Mau veteran, carefully set on our way by a railway tourist guide, and bade farewell in true Mombasa style by a melancholic Swahili guitarist.
David Cecil’s graduation film (Visual Anthropology, Goldsmiths’, 2009) was fraught with difficulty from the start. His original camera was stolen in Kilifi on the first night of the 2-week shoot, forcing him to shoot on 8mm and then film the rest in 5 days on a locally-sourced replacement. The result is haphazard but was well-received by audiences at Amakula Film Festival (Uganda) and received a nomination for Best Short Documentary in the 2010 Deborshir Festival (Russia).
Note the cameo (@06:10) by celebrated British film-maker Nick Broomfield who we bump into in Nairobi station during the shoot, and also the impressive rooftop graffiti in Kibera (@10:00). For those patient enough to sit through the credits, there is a final word from the film’s most colourful character.

Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts -lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.
DAY 2 : AMBOSELI (B,L,D)
During this day with Kenya safari bookings team you will have breakfast at app 0630hrs, then start game drive immediately as this is considered a great time to view game when the animals are ready for a kill to start the day. Return to the camp for around 1100hrs for lunch Lunch will be followed by a late afternoon 1600 hrs game drive where plains game namely zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen.
