Míša

Míša is a popular Czech brand of frozen confection. Míšas have been made continuously since 1961, and sell over 12 million ice pops per year, making it the most successful ice cream brand in the Czech Republic. It has survived events such as the Velvet Revolution and is fondly remembered as an integral part of Czech childhood.

They are made with frozen cream cheese, rather than ice cream or yogurt.

The logo features a grinning green bear, holding its arms above the word "Míša."

Mūša (Latvian: Mūsa) is a river in Northern Lithuania and Southern Latvia (Zemgale region), having its confluence with river Nemunėlis (Latvian: Mēmele), in Latvia, near city Bauska. Mūša is a tributary of the river Lielupė. The river is 164 kilometres (146 km in Lithuania, 18 km in Latvia) long.

Mergers and acquisitions

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are transactions in which the ownership of companies, other business organizations or their operating units are transferred or combined. As an aspect of strategic management, M&A can allow enterprises to grow, shrink, change the nature of their business or improve their competitive position.

From a legal point of view, a merger is a legal consolidation of two entities into one entity, whereas an acquisition occurs when one entity takes ownership of another entity's stock, equity interests or assets. From a commercial and economic point of view, both types of transactions generally result in the consolidation of assets and liabilities under one entity, and the distinction between a "merger" and an "acquisition" is less clear. A transaction legally structured as a merger may have the effect of placing one party's business under the indirect ownership of the other party's shareholders, while a transaction legally structured as an acquisition may give each party's shareholders partial ownership and control of the combined enterprise. A deal may be euphemistically called a "merger of equals" if both CEOs agree that joining together is in the best interest of both of their companies, while when the deal is unfriendly (that is, when the management of the target company opposes the deal) it may be regarded as an "acquisition".

Sól (sun)

Sól (Old Norse "Sun") or Sunna (Old High German, and existing as an Old Norse and Icelandic synonym: see Wiktionary sunna, "Sun") is the Sun personified in Germanic mythology. One of the two Old High German Merseburg Incantations, written in the 9th or 10th century CE, attests that Sunna is the sister of Sinthgunt. In Norse mythology, Sól is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson.

In both the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda she is described as the sister of the personified moon, Máni, is the daughter of Mundilfari, is at times referred to as Álfröðull, and is foretold to be killed by a monstrous wolf during the events of Ragnarök, though beforehand she will have given birth to a daughter who continues her mother's course through the heavens. In the Prose Edda, she is additionally described as the wife of Glenr. As a proper noun, Sól appears throughout Old Norse literature. Scholars have produced theories about the development of the goddess from potential Nordic Bronze Age and Proto-Indo-European roots.

G♯ (musical note)

G♯ (G-sharp) or Sol Dièse is the ninth semitone of the solfege. In the German pitch nomenclature, it is known as "gis."

It lies a chromatic semitone above G and a diatonic semitone below A, thus being enharmonic to La Bémol or A♭ (A flat).

Sol Líneas Aéreas Flight 5428

Sol Líneas Aéreas Flight 5428 was a passenger flight which crashed in Prahuaniyeu, Río Negro Province, Argentina, on 18 May 2011. All 22 aboard died. The aircraft involved, a Saab 340A, was operating Sol Líneas Aéreas' scheduled domestic service from Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport, Córdoba, to General Enrique Mosconi International Airport, Comodoro Rivadavia, with stopovers at Governor Francisco Gabrielli International Airport, Mendoza, and Presidente Perón International Airport, Neuquén. The crash occurred on the final leg, with the aircraft coming down 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-west of the town of Los Menucos, Río Negro. A preliminary report suggests it was caused by severe icing of the airframe.

The flight crew declared an emergency at 8:50 pm (UTC−03:00). Local people located at around 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from the crash site saw an airplane flying extremely low. A few moments later they heard explosions and noticed black smoke coming from the ground, which suggested an accident had occurred. Firefighters arrived at the scene three hours later, finding no survivors. The black box was located the following day near the crash site. and retrieved on 20 May.
