Paris (UK: /ˈpærɪs/ PARR-iss; US: i/ˈpɛərɪs/ PAIR-iss; French: [paʁi]) is the capital and most populous city of France. Situated on the Seine River, in the north of the country, it is in the centre of the Île-de-France region, also known as the région parisienne, "Paris Region". The City of Paris has an area of 105 km² (41 mi²) and a population of 2,241,346 (2014 estimate) within its administrative borders essentially unchanged since 1860.
Since the 19th century, the built-up area of Paris has grown far beyond its administrative borders; together with its suburbs, the whole agglomeration has a population of 10,550,350 (Jan. 2012 census).Paris' metropolitan area spans most of the Paris region and has a population of 12,341,418 (Jan. 2012 census), or one-fifth of the population of France. The administrative region covers 12,012 km² (4,638 mi²), with approximately 12 million inhabitants as of 2014, and has its own regional council and president.
Paris was founded in the 3rd century BC by a Celtic people called the Parisii, who gave the city its name. By the 12th century, Paris was the largest city in the western world, a prosperous trading centre, and the home of the University of Paris, one of the first in Europe. In the 18th century, it was the centre stage for the French Revolution, and became an important centre of finance, commerce, fashion, science, and the arts, a position it still retains today.

Louise Brooks (Knopf, 1989) is Paris's biography of the silent film star. Louise Brooks was named Film Book of the Year by Leonard Maltin. In reviewing the book, the Daily Express stated "Barry Paris has written the model of a movie biography". Similarly, the Irish Times added, "In a short review it is impossible to give even a taste of the splendor of Mr Paris's work. It is one of the best biographies I have ever read, erudite, literate and always in search of its subject." The book was published in Europe and South America and remains in print in the United States. Along with this biography, Paris has written articles on the actress and scripted the Emmy-nominated documentary Louise Brooks: Looking for Lulu (1998).

Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 – 6 February 2011) was a Northern Irish musician, most widely recognised as a singer, songwriter and virtuoso rock and blues guitarist.
In a career dating back to the 1960s, Moore played with musicians including Phil Lynott and Brian Downey during his teenage years, leading him to memberships of the Irish bands Skid Row and Thin Lizzy, and British band Colosseum II. Moore shared the stage with such blues and rock musicians as B.B. King, Albert King, Jack Bruce, Albert Collins, George Harrison and Greg Lake, as well as having a successful solo career. He guested on a number of albums recorded by high-profile musicians.
Moore grew up on Castleview Road opposite Stormont Parliament Buildings, off the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast, as one of five children of Bobby, a promoter, and Winnie, a housewife. He left the city as a teenager, because of troubles in his family – his parents parted a year later – just as The Troubles were starting in Northern Ireland.

During Paris Fashion Week, Christian Dior held their Spring/Summer 2017 show. Hollywood’s hottest actresses and singers showed up to take in the new styles and to flaunt their own. Jennifer Lawrence arrived at the brand’s event in some rolled-up baggy jeans, a black tank and some Christian Dior sling-back pumps. She also let her Dior bra straps show because, c’mon, if not here then where? Rihanna also dropped by and stole the show in a white silk dress festooned with pink crystal embellishments. The gown’s oversized sleeves highlighted the Barbadian beauty’s petite frame, while the plunging neckline teased her Nefertiti tattoo underneath. http://www.celebuzz.com/2016-09-30/jennifer-lawrence-rihanna-dior-show-paris-fashion-week/ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit En...

Since 1873, the Palais de l'Élysée has been the residence of the French President. At the beginning of the 17th century, Madame de Pompadour lived there and during the Revolution the liberated people cavorted in its luxurious rooms. Through a sm...

What should Christians think about the idea of ghosts, haunted houses, and other unexplained phenomenon? Why is there such a rise in popularity of paranormal themed TV programs? Can all paranormal activity simply be attributed to demons? How should Christians view those that claim that they can communicate with the dead? (John Edwards, James Van Praagh, etc...)? Why is the acceptance of the supernatural so much greater outside of the United States? Why does the church today minimize the miracles and supernatural events surrounding the Gospel account of the life of Jesus?

Is it possible that Hitler faked his own death and lived out the rest of his life in Argentina? Author Jerome Corsi shares why it is not just plausible, but likely. Authors James L. Paris and Robert G. Yetman, Jr. take you back to the founding of the Federal Reserve 100 years ago, and expose the little known unconstitutional operations of the U.S. Central Bank. Who are the financial elite that formed the Federal Reserve, and why are they considered the most powerful organization in the world today? Did JFK threaten the power structure of the elite by usurping power from the Federal Reserve with this executive order? Did JFK have plans to dissolve the Federal Reserve as he intended to do with the Central Intelligence Agency? Could the financial elite have been part of an extensive conspiracy to kill the nation’s youngest president? Why was a former president of the World Bank on the Warren Commission?
