"Do I" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released in May 2009 as the lead-off single from his album Doin' My Thing. Bryan co-wrote the song with Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley of the group Lady Antebellum, whose co-lead singer Hillary Scott is featured on background vocals.
Bryan told CMT that, "the song is about a couple that doesn't know if their worlds are right with each other, or they don't know how their relationship's going down hill".
The song is in the key of A major, with Bryan's vocals ranging from C♯4 to F♯5.
Stephen M. Deusner of Engine 145 gave the song a thumbs-down. Although he described the lyrics favorably by saying that "the scenario is all the more affecting for its mundanity" and "'Do I' implies no hint of a happily ever after, and that ambiguity gives the lyrics extra impact", Deusner criticized Bryan's vocal performance, saying "it never quite conveys much desperation or despair. There’s no worry in his voice, nor does it sound like he’s trying to keep a stoic front." Chris Neal of Country Weekly described the song favorably in his review of the album, saying that it "shows a knack for convincingly delivering hymns to thwarted love."

Thomas Luther "Luke" Bryan (born July 17, 1976) is an American singer and songwriter. Bryan began his musical career in the mid-2000s, writing songs for his longtime friends from high school, performers Travis Tritt and Billy Currington and releasing his first spring break album. After signing with Capitol Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007 with his cousin, Chad Christopher Boyd, he released the album I'll Stay Me, which included the singles "All My Friends Say", "We Rode in Trucks", and "Country Man". The follow-up album Doin' My Thing included "Do I", which Bryan co-wrote with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of Lady Antebellum, and the #1 singles "Rain Is a Good Thing" and "Someone Else Calling You Baby".
Tailgates & Tanlines, released in 2011, includes "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)", and the number one singles "I Don't Want This Night to End", "Drunk on You", and "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye". Bryan's fourth album, Crash My Party, was released in August 2013 and includes the number one singles "Crash My Party", "That's My Kind of Night", "Drink a Beer", "Play It Again", "Roller Coaster" and "I See You". The fifth album, Kill The Lights, was released in August 2015 and its lead single, "Kick the Dust Up", became his 13th number one hit, followed by his 14th number one "Strip It Down". Bryan co-wrote all of his singles with the exception of "Drunk on You", "Crash My Party", "That's My Kind of Night", "Drink a Beer", "Play It Again", "Roller Coaster", and "Kick the Dust Up" and co-produced all four albums and one compilation album with Jeff Stevens. Bryan was the recipient of the Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards "Entertainer of the Year" award. To date, Bryan has sold over 7 million albums and 27 million singles worldwide.
Clint Patrick Black (born February 4, 1962) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist and occasional actor. Signed to RCA Nashville in 1989, Black's debut album Killin' Time produced five straight number one singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Although his momentum gradually slowed throughout the 1990s, Black consistently charted hit songs into the 2000s. He has had more than 30 singles on the US Billboard country charts, twenty-two of which have reached number one, in addition to having released nine studio albums and several compilation albums. In 2003, Black founded his own record label, Equity Music Group. Black has also ventured into acting, having made a cameo appearance in the 1994 film Maverick, as well as a starring role in 1998's Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.
Clint Patrick Black was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, the youngest of four children born to G.A. and Ann Black, and lived in nearby Red Bank. The family moved back to Texas, where G.A. Black had been raised, before Clint was one year old. He was raised in Katy, Texas. Music was always present in the house. Black taught himself to play harmonica before he was 13, and at 14 wrote his first song. His father remarked that it was at that age that the parents "first noticed that he had a great voice". By 15, Black had learned to play guitar. As a teenager Black joined his elder brothers, Mark, Kevin and Brian, in their small band. On Saturday afternoons, the family would host backyard barbecues and invite the neighborhood to listen to the boys sing. Some weekends would attract up to 70 people. Black eventually dropped out of high school to play with his brothers, before becoming a solo act.
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar), Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals), Jamie Cook (lead guitar, rhythm guitar) and Nick O'Malley (bass, backing vocals). Former band member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band in 2006 shortly after their debut album was released.
They have released five studio albums: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009), Suck It and See (2011) and AM (2013), as well as one live album, At the Apollo (2008). Their debut album is the fastest-selling debut album by a band in British chart history, and in 2013, Rolling Stone ranked it the 30th-greatest debut album of all time.
The band have won seven Brit Awards—winning both Best British Group and Best British Album three times, and have been nominated for three Grammy Awards. They also won the Mercury Prize in 2006 for their debut album, in addition to receiving nominations in 2007 and 2013. The band have headlined at the Glastonbury Festival twice, in 2007 and again in 2013.
"I Wanna Know" is the lead single released from R&B musician Joe's third studio album My Name Is Joe and from the soundtrack to The Wood. The single was a huge hit across the U.S. reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 1, 2000 and number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. The single was released in November 1999 and went on to be Joe's third most successful hit in the U.S. behind "Stutter" (a subsequent release which peaked at number one on both the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts) and "Thank God I Found You" alongside Mariah Carey & 98 Degrees, which made it to number one on both formats as well.
"I Wanna Know" topped the Billboard year-end charts for Top R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Airplay in 2000. Additionally "I Wanna Know" was ranked fourth on Billboard Hot 100's Year-End Charts making it one of Joe's highest finishes on the year end charts.
According to the song's co-producer Edwin "Tony" Nicholas, "I Wanna Know" was originally intended for Joe's previous album All That I Am. He removed the song from the final tracklisting due to taking issue with the label heads wanting to be involved in the creative process. A few years later, he was asked to contribute a song to a soundtrack and claimed he didn't have anything to send to the record label. He then sent in "I Wanna Know" because it happened to be lying around the studio.

This is dedicated to my wifey.. love you foreverlasting wifey ko! muah chup chup How do I, Get through the night without you? If I had to live without you, What kind of life would that be? Oh, I I need you in my arms, need you to hold, You're my world, my heart, my soul, If you ever leave, Baby you would take away everything good in my life, And tell me now How do I live without you? I want to know, How do I breathe without you? If you ever go, How do I ever, ever survive? How do I, how do I, oh how do I live? Without you, There'd be no sun in my sky, There would be no love in my life, There'd be no world left for me. And I, Baby I don't know what I would do, I'd be lost if I lost you, If you ever leave, Baby you would take away everything real in my life, And t...
All caught up in a crazy dance
living on rhythm and circumstance
all washed up can't you see
that's your problem
make a change in our hum-drum lives
to re-awake and realize
we're all living on a time bomb
that's gonna blow us to pieces
pressure's on heart attack
science fiction is science fact
watch your back when the bullets fly
that's our problem
>> So do I, how do I, when do I do wrong
take a look, take a look around town
get get get along down
So do I, how do I, when do I do wrong
take a look, take a look around town
hey hey hey yeah, no no no yeah
so do I, how do I, when do I do wrong
sing it out, sing it sing it out loud
come on, come on, come yeah now>>
Crazy peoples right to speak
pushing and a shoving
on a one way street
that's enough I draw the line
go to sleep for a long long time
blinkers on straight ahead
button my lip that's what I said
listening, I can't justify
oh, the pain in me I cry
pressures on heart attack...
