Mother 3 - Final Battle: *Lucas Vs The Masked Man* (w/ Unused Backgrounds & Cutscenes)

HUGE SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET!!! Welp, since I'm taking a break from Super Mario 64 Machinima, I might as well do something else for a change and why not start with Mother 3? I learned how to hack Mother 3 by using the hack tool called "Mother 3 Fun Land" with this baby I can do all sorts of things! Now I can do Mother 3 Hacked Fights! Isn't that awesome? No? Well too bad for you! For my very first Mother 3 hack, I wondered how the Final Battle would be with the Unused Backgrounds and my it turned out perfectly. This is how the Final Battle of Mother 3 was sopposed to be. The backgrounds were meant for how Lucas see's Claus through out the battle and when Hinawa begins to contact him like in the original battle. I honestly don't know what order were these backgrounds were supposed to happen so I did it in the order that would perfectly fit. I also used the Unused Cutscenes that were ment to appear in the Final Fight as well. I think they were meant to appear after Hinawa and Flint discuss of their newborn children. I tired to make it as realistic as I could so please bear with it! Here are my theories of how these backgrounds of what happens in the Final Battle. (As in shown in the video): Phase 1: "The Final Showdown" Well nothing else to say but, the first background is where we start the final showdown between Lucas and The Masked Man which fits perfectly though the thing is...you cannot attack him. Phase 2: "A Familiar Face" When Hinawa makes first contact, the background changes to a distored pixelated young version of Claus. This could mean that Lucas is realizing that Claus is the Masked Man or that Claus's soul is attempting to contact Lucas. (Which could explain the unused music where Claus says "HELP...ME...LU...CAS...!!!") Phase 3: "Help me, Lucas!" When Hinawa makes second contact and fails to reach the Masked Man, the background changes to a creepy, yet Giygas looking version of Claus. Like I said before, this could be that Claus's soul is attempting to contact Lucas to free him from Porky's control. Phase 4: "The Claus that you knew is no more!" I don't know about the Red Line Claus but I think this could mean that Claus's soul is starting to fade away and Lucas is thinking that the "Claus" he knew is long gone. Phase 5: "The Heartless Robot & The Angel of Death" After Claus's spirit fades away, the background changes into the robot one. The Masked Man believes himself to be Porky's robot and not a human being. As for the Angel, Lucas dosen't want to believe that the Masked Man is his long lost brother Claus and thinks he is dead. Phase 6: "Your not Porky's robot!" Like in the original battle, Hinawa tries to convince the Masked Man that he's not Porky's robot and that he's actually Claus which then the background changes into a naked Claus (Which is so weird). Phase 7: "Evil Claus" Again like in the original battle, when the Masked Man attacks Flint, Lucas thinks Claus has become evil and see's him as a threat to humanity itself and dose not hold back any longer and fights him off, yet Hinawa tells Lucas to stop fighting. Of course the background changes which is much like the same but with red eyes. Phase 8: "You and Lucas are brothers!" As the battle continiues just like in the original, Hinawa keeps contacting the Masked Man telling him that he and Lucas are brothers which explains the background between Lucas and Claus. Phase 9: "Your name is Claus!" As the battle continiues just like in the original, Hinawa keeps contacting the Masked Man telling him that he is Claus. The background changes to Claus (not naked this time but his Adolecene form). Cutscene: "Childhood Memories" Like in the original we see the cutscene where Hinawa and Flint talk about their newborn children "Claus and Lucas" but after the cutscene ends we see a few more cutscenes of Lucas and Claus during their childhood which of course it was sopposed to happen in the game. Final Phase: "It's Over" After the cutscene ends, we all know what's gonna happen next so there's no point of me explaining it except for the backgrounds. So after the cutscene the background changes into a red swirling yet has Claus's Giygas like face there. I can guess since, The Masked Man is struggling between porky's control and hearing his mother's request, I believe that the red background represents Claus's agony of what he is going through right now. After Hinawa makes one final request for Claus, the background changes to Lucas and Claus again...I didn't had anymore ideas but since Claus has regained his memories...I think the background represents that Claus and Lucas are finally reunited after all these years.
