Rosemarie Braddock DeWitt (born October 26, 1971) is an American actress. DeWitt played Emily Lehman in the Fox television series Standoff, co-starring with her then-future husband Ron Livingston (2006–07), and Charmaine Craine on United States of Tara. She also was the title character in 2008's Rachel Getting Married, garnering several awards and nominations for best supporting actress. She starred in the horror/thriller Poltergeist (2015), a remake of the 1982 film of the same name.
DeWitt was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, the daughter of Rosemarie (Braddock) and Kenny DeWitt. She is a granddaughter of boxer James J. Braddock, and played the role of neighbor Sara Wilson in the movie Cinderella Man, which depicted James J. Braddock's life.
DeWitt lived in Hanover Township, New Jersey and is a graduate of Whippany Park High School. She performed in several high school productions. She attended the New College at Hofstra University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in creative studies. While at Hofstra University, she also joined Alpha Phi. She had additional training at The Actors Center in New York.
Jake Johnson (born Mark Jake Johnson Weinberger; May 28, 1978) is an American actor, comedian and director, most commonly known for playing Nick Miller in the Fox comedy series New Girl opposite Zooey Deschanel, for which he has received a Teen Choice Award nomination among others. Johnson also co-starred in the 2009 film Paper Heart and the 2012 film Safety Not Guaranteed, as well as appearing in Get Him to the Greek, 21 Jump Street, and Jurassic World. His first starring role in a feature film was Drinking Buddies, and he also starred in the 2014 comedy Let's Be Cops, alongside fellow New Girl star Damon Wayans, Jr.
Johnson was born in Evanston, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago, the son of Eve Johnson, an artist who made stained glass windows, and Ken Weinberger, who owned a car dealership. He was named after his maternal uncle, Mark Johnson, who died at the age of 26 in a motorcycle accident in 1977, a year before Jake was born. Jake's father is from an Ashkenazi Jewish family, while his mother's ancestry is English, Irish, and Polish Catholic. His parents divorced when he was two, and he and his older siblings, brother Dan and sister Rachel, were raised by his single mother. Johnson then took his mother's last name during high school. Johnson has stated that since his 20s, his father has resurfaced and now they are close.
Ronald Joseph "Ron" Livingston (born June 5, 1967) is an American actor. His early roles in Office Space and the miniseries Band of Brothers have been noted as two of his best-known works.
Livingston was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Linda (née Rinas), a Lutheran pastor, and Kurt Livingston, an aerospace/electronics engineer. His younger brother John is also an actor; sister Jennifer Livingston and brother-in-law Mike Thompson are both TV news personalities at WKBT in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He graduated from Marion High School in Marion, Iowa, and attended Yale University, where he received B.A. degrees in Theater and English. Livingston had his first acting experience at Theatre Cedar Rapids after being introduced to the group during a school job shadowing. Livingston relocated to Chicago and became involved in the local theater scene.
Livingston's first film role was in 1992, in Dolly Parton's Straight Talk. He moved to Los Angeles and was cast in supporting roles in Some Folks Call it a Sling Blade and The Low Life. Livingston landed his first role in a major film in 1996's Swingers. He starred as the male lead, Peter Gibbons, in the comedy cult classic Office Space, which co-starred Jennifer Aniston and was written and directed by Mike Judge. He also appeared in HBO's miniseries Band of Brothers as Captain Lewis Nixon opposite Donnie Wahlberg and Damian Lewis. Going beyond nice-guy roles, Livingston played a Hollywood agent in Adaptation (2002); a weaselly Ivy League upstart to Alec Baldwin's casino boss in The Cooler (2003); and teachers in Winter Solstice and Pretty Persuasion (both 2005). He also appeared as sardonic writer Jack Berger, Carrie's short-term boyfriend in the sixth season of Sex and the City. He guest starred in the episode "TB or Not TB" of House. In 2006, he starred as FBI negotiator Matt Flannery in the Fox series Standoff, co-starring Rosemarie DeWitt, and he was an ad spokesman for Sprint Nextel.
Lynn Shelton (born 1965) is an American director known for writing, directing, and producing such films as Humpday and Your Sister's Sister.
Shelton grew up in Seattle. She describes herself as having been audacious as a young girl, but having lost confidence in her creativity in adolescence. This experience contributed to a theme she explored in her 2005 film We Go Way Back.
After high school, Shelton attended Oberlin College in Ohio and then the University of Washington School of Drama. She then moved to New York and followed the Master's of Fine Arts program in photography and related media at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Her thesis advisor was Peggy Ahwesh.
She started working in the film industry as a film editor and made a series of experimental short films which have been described as "accomplished" and providing the basis for the "subtle, almost anthropological scrutiny" brought to bear in her later works.
Among the jobs she has held to support her film career, one of them was working aboard a fishing trawler in the Bering Sea.
Ellen Philpotts-Page (born February 21, 1987), known professionally as Ellen Page, is a Canadian actress. She started her career in Canada with roles in television shows including Pit Pony, Trailer Park Boys, and ReGenesis. Page then ventured into mainstream films, winning attention after starring in the 2005 drama Hard Candy, a role that won her the Austin Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress. Her breakthrough role was the title character in Jason Reitman's comedy film Juno (2007), for which she received nominations for Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress, and won numerous other accolades including the Independent Spirit Award, MTV Movie Award and Teen Choice Award for Best Actress Comedy.
Her other notable film roles have been in the X-Men series, portraying Kitty Pryde in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). Her performance earned her a nomination for Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Scene Stealer. Then followed crime-drama film An American Crime (2007); drama The Tracey Fragments (2007), a role that won her the Vancouver Film Critics Award for Best Actress; Smart People (2008); sports comedy-drama film Whip It (2009); Super (2010); and Inception (2010). She also provided the voice acting, motion capture, and likeness for the character Jodie Holmes in the video game Beyond: Two Souls (2013).
The actress discussed filming “La La Land” with the heartthrob, and shared some news about her family’s new addition!

http://www.facebook.com/MannyTheMovieGuy http://www.mannythemovieguy.com I love, love, love Rosemarie Dewitt! From "Mad Men" to "United States of Tara" to her film appearances this year in the fantastic "Your Sister's Sister" and "Promised Land," Dewitt is a fine actress. In "Promised Land," she plays Alice, the woman between the dueling gas company salesman (Matt Damon) and activist (John Krasinski). Sure, "Promised Land" is being called a fracking movie but it's more than that -- it's about a community and their collected lives, hopes, and dreams. And it's funny! In this interview, Dewitt and I talked about: *** Her character as the heart of the film *** Her party-teacher character *** What got her interested in making "Promised Land" *** The film's script written by Damon and K...
