I know you can relate to the plight of loving a story, loving a medium, and trying to convince someone in power to see your vision! You did it with Marc Platt when you convinced him to make it a stage musical. I’m just approaching you with the same sincerity. Is it possible to talk you out of doing a live action movie adaptation? Would you consider doing a traditionally animated adaptation? In my heart I think the musical needs the medium, and I think the medium needs your musical. I just love them both so much and hopefully that shows through in the story reel.

Hollywood
Hollywood (/ˈhɒliwʊd/ HOL-ee-wuud) is a neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California. The neighborhood is notable for its place as the home of the U.S. film industry, including several of its historic studios. Its name has come to be a metonym for the motion picture industry of the United States. Hollywood is also a highly ethnically diverse, densely populated, economically diverse neighborhood and retail business district.
Hollywood was a small community in 1870 and was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. It officially merged with the city of Los Angeles in 1910, and soon thereafter a prominent film industry began to emerge, eventually becoming the most recognizable film industry in the world.
History
Early history and development
In 1853, one adobe hut stood in Nopalera (Nopal field), named for the Mexican Nopal cactus indigenous to the area. By 1870, an agricultural community flourished. The area was known as the Cahuenga Valley, after the pass in the Santa Monica Mountains immediately to the north.

My favorite musical for over a decade, WICKED has alway held a special magic for me! I've seen four different companies perform the show and eagerly away the day a cinematic adaptation hits the theaters! (I'd go for animation over live-action, but I am extremely biased in that department) This project was inspired by the boards of Heidi Jo Gilbert: https://vimeo.com/19733014 and the vis-dev portfolio of Minkyuu Lee http://fairytalenewsblog.blogspot.com/2013/12/old-animation-development-art-for.html These boards were completed as an educational exercise during my last semester at BYU. I do not own the music or characters and will receive no financial compensation for this fan-made animatic. WICKED the Musical! based on the novel by Gregory Mcguire, Music and Lyrics by Steven Schwartz. The musical is produced by Universal Pictures in coalition with Marc Platt and David Stone. Audio is sampled from the 2004 cast performance at the Tony Awards, and the official WICKED soundtrack which is available for purchase on itunes, amazon, and Google Play.

I know you can relate to the plight of loving a story, loving a medium, and trying to convince someone in power to see your vision! You did it with Marc Platt when you convinced him to make it a stage musical. I’m just approaching you with the same sincerity. Is it possible to talk you out of doing a live action movie adaptation? Would you consider doing a traditionally animated adaptation? In my heart I think the musical needs the medium, and I think the medium needs your musical. I just love them both so much and hopefully that shows through in the story reel.

My favorite musical for over a decade, WICKED has alway held a special magic for me! I've seen four different companies perform the show and eagerly away the day a cinematic adaptation hits the theaters! (I'd go for animation over live-action, but I am extremely biased in that department)

These boards were completed as an educational exercise during my last semester at BYU. I do not own the music or characters and will receive no financial compensation for this fan-made animatic.

Would you consider doing a traditionally animated adaptation? In my heart I think the musical needs the medium, and I think the medium needs your musical. I know you can relate to the plight of loving a story, loving a medium, and trying to convince someone in power to see your vision! You did it with Marc Platt when you convinced him to make it a stage musical. I’m just approaching you with the same sincerity. Is it possible to talk you out of doing a live action movie adaptation? Would you consider doing a traditionally animated adaptation? In my heart I think the musical needs the medium, and I think the medium needs your musical. I just love them both so much and hopefully that shows through in the story reel.

My favorite musical for over a decade, WICKED has alway held a special magic for me! I've seen four different companies perform the show and eagerly away the day a cinematic adaptation hits the theaters! (I'd go for animation over live-action, but I am extremely biased in that department)

These boards were completed as an educational exercise during my last semester at BYU. I do not own the music or characters and will receive no financial compensation for this fan-made animatic.
