Jason Day has missed a three-foot putt to keep a playoff alive at the Byron Nelson PGA tournament, after a number of sensational shots to stay in contention.
Day entered the 18th hole in a playoff for the title, with scores tied with Billy Horschel at 12-under after four rounds.
The Australian took the outright lead during Sunday's final round of the Byron Nelson PGA tournament thanks to a stunning chip-in from outside the green on the 15th hole.
Days's seventh and 10th-hole birdies before a bogey on the 12th were enough to place him alongside American Horschel in a two-way tie for the lead with five holes remaining.
