The EP is a 7" red vinyl record that plays at 331⁄3 RPM. It was released under A&M records in 2000 before the release of the album "The Ever Passing Moment." The EP was manufactured and distributed in the US by Universal Music and Video Distribution Inc.
Paul the Apostle (Latin: Paulus; Greek: Παῦλος, translit. Paulos; c. 5 – c. 67), commonly known as Saint Paul, and also known by his native name Saul of Tarsus (Hebrew: שאול התרסי, translit. Sha'ul ha-Tarsi; Greek: Σαῦλος Ταρσεύς, translit. Saulos Tarseus)[4][5 was an apostle (though not one of the Twelve Apostles) who taught the gospel of the Christ to the 1st-century world. He is generally considered one of the most important figures of the Apostolic Age. In the mid-30s to the mid-50s AD, he founded several churches in Asia Minor and Europe. Paul took advantage of his status as both a Jew and a Roman citizen to minister to both Jewish and Roman audiences. According to writings in the New Testament, Paul was dedicated to the persecution of the early disciples of Jesus in the area of Je...
St Paul and the First Christians The First Christians Documentary Early Christianity is the period of Christianity preceding the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. It is typically divided into the Apostolic Age and the Ante-Nicene Period (from the Apostolic Age until Nicea). The first Christians, as described in the first chapters of the Acts of the Apostles, were all Jewish, either by birth, or conversion for which the biblical term proselyte is used, and referred to by historians as the Jewish Christians. The early Gospel message was spread orally; probably in Aramaic. The New Testament's Book of Acts and Epistle to the Galatians record that the first Christian community was centered in Jerusalem and its leaders included Peter, James, and John. Paul of Tarsus, after his conversion to C...
In this two-part documentary, renowned British actor David Suchet undertakes an epic journey spanning the Mediterranean. His inspiration is a charismatic individual whose own travels through this region, two thousand years ago, changed the world forever - Paul the Apostle. On this journey, David Suchet seeks to uncover how an obscure Jewish sect from the edge of the Roman Empire shattered the world of the classical gods and challenged the might of Caesar, to become the dominant force in Western civilization. In this first episode, David Suchet visits Jerusalem to discover Paul's early life as a devout Jew and his subsequent, life-changing, conversion to the new Jesus Movement. David journeys to Tarsus in modern Turkey where Paul was born, and learns he was a citizen of two worlds: Roman a...
Close your eyes and listen, and you might imagine someone who looks a bit like Otis Redding. Open them, and you're likely to see someone who looks more like your neighborhood bank teller. That man standing on my desk in the golden shoes is Paul Janeway. He was, in fact, a bank teller in Alabama not long ago — and this stupendous seven-piece band from Birmingham has only been doing this since 2012. But take a look at this Tiny Desk Concert and you'll see why St. Paul And The Broken Bones' music is so winning. It's got heart and soul and flair, with a well-worn sound buoyed by strong, fresh songwriting. -- BOB BOILEN Set List: "Half The City" "Call Me" "Broken Bones And Pocket Change" Credits: Producers: Bob Boilen, Maggie Starbard; Audio Engineer: Kevin Wait; Videographers: Becky Lettenb...

Saint Paul is one of the most important and influential of all the saints. Many of his writings are contained in the Canon of the Bible and have influenced the growth and development of the Church since the first century. St. Paul was originally known as Saul, and he was a Roman citizen and a Pharisee. He even presided over the persecutions of the early Christians and was present at the martyrdom of St. Stephen. However, Saul experienced a powerful vision that caused him to convert to Christianity while on the road to Damascus. He was duly baptized and took the name Paul. Paul traveled the world, first to Arabia then back to Damascus. He also visited Jerusalem to see St. Peter, the first pope and pay homage to him. During these travels, he preached ceaselessly, often drawing criticism a...
Yesterday we had a few snow flurries, which for some Minnesotans is like a precipitous wake-up alarm (without the benefit of a 4 month snooze). Therefor, I decided I'd better get some footage before the snow makes a beautiful mess of things. This is a fun view of St. Paul, since you can see the state capitol to the far right, with the curvaceous Mississippi at front and center. There's also plenty of cars, trains, boats and planes cruising around. I would have filmed for longer (that tugboat was just getting started!), but it was freezing cold, and I had gallons of hot cider waiting for me at home... mmmm! The music is "Stars" by musical uber-genius, Ulrich Schnauss. I tried to sync the flashing First Bank sign to the rhythm, but it still seems a little off. It also appears that there are...
My big camera was in the hotel. But this proofs you don't need to miss great moments in life with pocketcams! Always at hand! This is one of my first clips with the new mini Sanyo Xacti HD1000 a $400 cam, without any extra's. A miniscule stereo microphone at back of LCD, but amazing quality! But now the FH1 is my favorite even better and smaller and a build in wide angle and Advanced Zoom! My friends (very polite but very poor) from a township called Khula (sheds without water and electricity) just outside villacity St.Lucia KwaZuluNatal South Africa. This group performs for tourist on restaurant terraces in St.Lucia and here at the arrivaldeck from a hippo boattour on St.Lucia River at sunset. They sing and swing really great just like the other famous Zulugroup Ladysmith Black Momba...

St. Paul in the winter-Kids are crying for their dinner
Quick smoke and a drink, then it's time for bed
He said, ";Why do you always seem so down?
Is something lost that can't be found?";
You wait, hesitate, and tell him you're okay
But it's a lie-You can't look him in the eye
'Cause he won't ever understand you
You want to believe, that things will change
It worries your heart, oh to feel this strange
Bu you can't stop the world-No, from spinning around
You'll never stop the rain from falling down, down, down
Down, down, down
It's colder than I remember, at this time last December
The win was blowin' and, the skies are always grey
You said someday you're gonna leave that man...realize all that we've planned
Start all over again, under the southern sun
But it's a lie-You can't look me in the eye
Knowin' I won't understand you
Yeh I want to believe, oh that things will change
And it worries my heart, yeh to feel this strange
But I can't stop the world-No, from spinning around
You'll never stop the rain from falling down, down, down
I hope that you understand-You're always welcome at my door
And I hope you understand, that I";m not hoping anymore...hoping anymore
Yeh you want to believe, oh that things will change
And it worries your heart, mmm to feel this strange
But you can't stop the world-No, from spinning around
You'll never stop the rain from fallin' down, down, down
Down, down, down
