Porsche's fastest-ever 911 has broken cover at the annual E3 gaming expo, where the new model took centre stage as the feature car for the latest Forza Motorsport racing game.
The new 911 GT2 RS blends the best parts of Porsche's immensely powerful 911 Turbo with the race-bred focus of the track-ready 911 GT3 RS.
Tipped to offer more than 475kW of power in a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive layout, the GT2 RS represents the most extreme 911 in years.

Porsche has not released full details surrounding the model, which may emerge in coming weeks during events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans or Goodwood Festival of Speed.
We don't know exactly how fast the GT2 RS will be. But we do know that it will be on the cover of Forza Motorsport 7, Microsoft's answer to Sony's Gran Turismo series. The game will feature more than 700 cars and dozens of tracks stretching around the world, as well as variable weather and new race modes.

Forza Motorsport 7 goes on sale in October.
And there's a good chance the GT2 RS is sold out if you haven't already got an order in.

Still slower than a lousy Nissan GTR off the line.
I find your comment irrelevant to the conversation. First and foremost, the reduction cars not put rubber on the road yet, no one outside of Porsche knows how fast it'll be at the red light Grand Prix when you can lose your license 4 seconds after hitting the accelerator. Most importantly for me, in the upper stratosphere where cars like this ride looks have to come into the equation, the GTR's nearly ten years old and I never liked the look inside from out, where Porsche has always impressed me
Ha ha, that old chestnut, hasn't been since previous GT3 see you tube, that is if the Nissan doesn't go into limp mode.
GTR = Genuinely Terrible Reliability Loads of storeis of the issues plaguing the GTR, even at half the price you are getting ripped off. Of course how much will the GT2 cost, no doubt $500K,,sheer insanity.
Even if you have the cash to purchase a gt2rs you will not be able to buy one. Only 15 or 20 will be bought into the country and all of these will go to dealers wife's or mates to be flipped for x2 the price.
