Like the iconic scene from The Fifth Element where the Diva Plavalaguna dies, and it turns out that the stones are actually *in* her, like, inside her actually body, The Bearded Man once had the music in him. And let us tell you folks, that sh** was mighty painful. I mean, music can barely be contained as it is. If you’ve ever stood next to a subwoofer wall at a festival, you know how loud and intense music can be. Imagine that 24/7, coming from *inside* you… It was a freaking nightmare. Doctors say it probably happened while he was swimming in the Amazon — must have been a parasite of some kind that wormed its way into his gut and began growing. A few years ago, The Bearded Man underwent a massive operation to remove the music from him. The operation was a success, but the doctors said that a small piece of the music would still always be inside of him and that he could never truly get rid of it. The only logical outcome was to create a record label, release some of the musical pressure a little bit at a time, and enlist the help of Sebastien & Boy Tedson to make sure things went as smoothly as possible.

“Where did we go wrong?” The Bearded Man asked. “Hey I thought we had it all!” He continued. He was, of course, referring to the money. The money that he and Sebastien were *supposed* to have stolen from the bank just now. “Ok, let’s just retrace our steps,” Bright Sparks chimed in. “So first, we robbed the bank. Right?” “Right.” All three of them agreed on that. “Ok,” Bright Sparks went on, “So we robbed the bank. Check. We got the money. Check. We… DAMNIT! WE LEFT THE MONEY DIDN’T WE?” Not the world’s greatest heist, and certainly nothing worthy of Ocean’s 18, or whatever movie they’re on now. But, to give credit where credit is due, banks had *just* been invented the previous year, so they were pretty much the new trend of the moment, kind of like techno is now. No one really knew what they were supposed to do with these banks, or how to run them, or what “protocol” was. Security was low, and forensic scientists didn’t yet exist, so the three would-be thieves got away with it completely. They may not have gotten the money that day, but the *real* reward was the journey shared amongst friends. Ok, not really. The real reward would have been the gold. They screwed up. Bad.

For many years of his life, The Bearded Man was lazy, lethargic, and generally a no good piece of s#!t. Onlookers marveled at the situation, asking themselves: “how could this be possible??” How could the world’s sexiest, most daring, most naturally attractive man be content to just sit around all day, eating chips, watching cartoons, and generally doing nothing?? After all, wasn’t this the same god-like mortal that the deities of old bent over backwards for? Wasn’t this the man who was destined to live a life of greatness bigger than any we could ever comprehend? Well, we learned recently that this dark period in his life wasn’t altogether his fault after all. You see, evil scientist Dr. Archibald Bucephalus (and arch-nemesis of The Bearded Man) was up to his old tricks. Having discovered nanotechnology hundreds of years before the rest of the world knew it existed, he was the first to create nano robots. He slipped these nano robots into The Bearded Man’s unguarded coconut half one day by the pool, and the little critters got to work. The little things they did started to sabotage his brain. First they changed his hormone levels, messing with serotonin, screwing with his brain’s natural reward mechanism, and generally taking away his lust for life. Dr. Archibald Bucephalus is a sneaky old trickster, and his evil might have never been discovered if it weren’t for an accident years down the road. Exposed to an enormous electromagnetic blast (which also coincidentally briefly gave The Bearded Man super powers), the robots were destroyed. Slowly but surely, everything got better, and now, TBM is a world-class pimp. Now he’s high on life!

High on You
High on You is the first solo album by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sly Stone, released by Epic/CBS Records in 1975. It reflects the beginnings of change in the concept of "Sly and the Family Stone". Formerly a tangible self-contained band, the Family Stone broke up in January 1975 after a disastrous booking at the Radio City Music Hall. At this point, most of the band members parted company with Stone, except for trumpeter Cynthia Robinson, his brother guitarist Freddie Stone, and backup singers Little Sister. With subsequent recordings, Stone returned to using the name of his former band, although they were largely solo recordings.
Overview
From this point on, each "Sly & the Family Stone" album would essentially be a Sly Stone solo recording, with contributions from a varying group of collaborators. Sometimes, members of the original Family Stone would participate in the sessions, and sometimes session players and new members would work with Stone as well. For the most part, however, Stone performed a large part of the instrumentation for each song on his own using multitracking (as he had been doing for Family Stone LPs since There's a Riot Goin' On in 1971). This album, like the others, includes a combination of all three types of recordings, plus a handful of songs recorded before the band's dissolution.

Armada Music
Armada Music /ɑːrˈmɑːdə/ is a Dutch record label that specializes in releasing electronic music, co-founded by Armin van Buuren.
Armada Music is an independent record company founded in June, 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis, whose names abbreviate to "Armada".
Throughout the years, the record company has brought countless releases within the wide spectrum of electronic dance music to its fans. Armada Music is actively releasing records in trance, deep house, progressive house, techno, and even in the pop genre, making it a label that stands out from the crowd.
From 2009-2013, the record label received five consecutive International Dance Music Awards for 'Best Global Dance Label'. Armada received 22 nominations at the 2014 IDMAs, winning 10, including 'Best Compilation' for A State of Trance. The Academy of Electronic Music, a joint venture between Armada, Google, Point Blank, and DJ Mag, was the recipient of the 'People's Voice Award' at the 2014 Webby Awards. CEO Maykel Piron was awarded with a ‘Feather’ — a prize awarded to someone within the Dutch music industry for making an extraordinary contribution to Dutch music. Maykel Piron is the youngest person to have ever received this prestigious award.

Like the iconic scene from The Fifth Element where the Diva Plavalaguna dies, and it turns out that the stones are actually *in* her, like, inside her actually body, The Bearded Man once had the music in him. And let us tell you folks, that sh** was mighty painful. I mean, music can barely be contained as it is. If you’ve ever stood next to a subwoofer wall at a festival, you know how loud and intense music can be. Imagine that 24/7, coming from *inside* you… It was a freaking nightmare. Doctors say it probably happened while he was swimming in the Amazon — must have been a parasite of some kind that wormed its way into his gut and began growing. A few years ago, The Bearded Man underwent a massive operation to remove the music from him. The operation was a success, but the doctors said that a small piece of the music would still always be inside of him and that he could never truly get rid of it. The only logical outcome was to create a record label, release some of the musical pressure a little bit at a time, and enlist the help of Sebastien & Boy Tedson to make sure things went as smoothly as possible.

The money that he and Sebastien were *supposed* to have stolen from the bank just now. “Ok, let’s just retrace our steps,” Bright Sparks chimed in. “So first, we robbed the bank. Right?” “Right.” All three of them agreed on that. “Ok,” Bright Sparks went on, “So we robbed the bank. Check. We got the money. Check. We… DAMNIT! WE LEFT THE MONEY DIDN’T WE?” Not the world’s greatest heist, and certainly nothing worthy of Ocean’s 18, or whatever movie they’re on now. But, to give credit where credit is due, banks had *just* been invented the previous year, so they were pretty much the new trend of the moment, kind of like techno is now. No one really knew what they were supposed to do with these banks, or how to run them, or what “protocol” was. Security was low, and forensic scientists didn’t yet exist, so the three would-be thieves got away with it completely. They may not have gotten the money that day, but the *real* reward was the journey shared amongst friends. Ok, not really. The real reward would have been the gold. They screwed up. Bad.

For many years of his life, The Bearded Man was lazy, lethargic, and generally a no good piece of s#!t. Onlookers marveled at the situation, asking themselves: “how could this be possible??” How could the world’s sexiest, most daring, most naturally attractive man be content to just sit around all day, eating chips, watching cartoons, and generally doing nothing?? After all, wasn’t this the same god-like mortal that the deities of old bent over backwards for? Wasn’t this the man who was destined to live a life of greatness bigger than any we could ever comprehend? Well, we learned recently that this dark period in his life wasn’t altogether his fault after all. You see, evil scientist Dr. Archibald Bucephalus (and arch-nemesis of The Bearded Man) was up to his old tricks. Having discovered nanotechnology hundreds of years before the rest of the world knew it existed, he was the first to create nano robots. He slipped these nano robots into The Bearded Man’s unguarded coconut half one day by the pool, and the little critters got to work. The little things they did started to sabotage his brain. First they changed his hormone levels, messing with serotonin, screwing with his brain’s natural reward mechanism, and generally taking away his lust for life. Dr. Archibald Bucephalus is a sneaky old trickster, and his evil might have never been discovered if it weren’t for an accident years down the road. Exposed to an enormous electromagnetic blast (which also coincidentally briefly gave The Bearded Man super powers), the robots were destroyed. Slowly but surely, everything got better, and now, TBM is a world-class pimp. Now he’s high on life!
