"In the sea off the coast of Innsmouth, Massachusetts, lies the accursed Devil's Reef, home to the underground metropolis of the Deep Ones called Y'ha-nthlei. Rumor has it that a cave can be found wherein a harbinger dwells awaiting those weary of mind and spirit, who desperately seek to escape their troubles by way of a peaceful night's slumber." - Professor Clemmons, Arkham Sanitarium. This idea "spawned" from the requests of 2 particular patrons who had asked if I could do a layered sounds video, and a video including the gibberish / glossolalia that Deep One Dave speaks. Of course, this is also dedicated to those of you who have also been looking for the same thing, and espeically to all Lovecraft fans everywhere. I wish I could have filmed this whole scene, from getting in a boat under the light of a full moon to landing on an island, but maybe next time. I do know of a real cave system that's not far from me... Lastly, due to hearing loss in my left ear that has left me unable to hear in stereo anymore, I can't tell how good the audio sounds in regards to immersion and the overall stereo field. This is why I don't do many multi-layered sounds videos anymore. But hopefully this came out alright! I hope you enjoy. E.R.
