A sweater (American English) is a knitted garment intended to cover the torso and arms. A sweater is either a pullover or a cardigan, distinguished in that cardigans open at the front while pullovers do not. In British English, a pullover may also be called a jumper or jersey, and there is no hypernym equivalent to sweater covering both pullovers and cardigans.
Sweaters are worn by adults and children of all genders; often over a shirt, blouse, T-shirt, or other top, but sometimes next to the skin. Sweaters were traditionally made from wool, but can now be made of cotton, synthetic fibers, or any combination thereof. Sweaters are maintained by washing or dry cleaning, and the use of a lint roller or pill razor.
The term "sweater" is a catch-all for a variety of knit garments. Although the term often refers to a pullover, it can also refer to a cardigan, a garment that opens and fastens down the front. Within either group, there is a great variety of design. Various necklines are found, although the V-neck, turtleneck and the crew neck are the most popular. The waistline is typically at hip height or slightly longer, just overlapping the waist of one's pants or skirt, but can vary significantly. It can range from just below the bust in women's garments to mid-thigh in either sex, or even longer in a knitted variation of the poncho shirtdress. The sleeve length is also variable, ranging from full-length or three-quarters to short-sleeved, cap sleeves or sleeveless. The front seam or opening of a cardigan allows for further different styles, such as a surplice or a bolero jacket. All hems may have various types of borders, such as picots, ribbing and frills.
A cave or cavern is a hollow place in the ground, especially a natural underground space large enough for a human to enter. Caves form naturally by the weathering of rock and often extend deep underground. The word cave can also refer to much smaller openings such as sea caves, rock shelters, and grottos.
Speleology is the science of exploration and study of all aspects of caves and the cave environment. Visiting or exploring caves for recreation may be called caving, potholing, or spelunking.
The formation and development of caves is known as speleogenesis. Caves are formed by various geologic processes and can be variable sizes. These may involve a combination of chemical processes, erosion from water, tectonic forces, microorganisms, pressure, and atmospheric influences.
It is estimated that the maximum depth of a cave cannot be more than 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) due to the pressure of overlying rocks. For karst caves the maximum depth is determined on the basis of the lower limit of karst forming processes, coinciding with the base of the soluble carbonate rocks.

Log some serious snuggle time even when you're not there. With this easy DIY upcycing project, you dog or cat will feel like you're hugging them all night long. Here's how to upcycle an old sweater and some pillows into a cute dog bed or cat bed. This super simple project requires a large eye wool needle, some yarn for sewing with, an old sweater that your dog or cat would love to snuggle up to (smells like you) and one or two old pillows (depending on the size of your sweater and thickness of your old pillows). Oh, and a very basic (and we mean basic) understanding of hand stitching. In this example, we show you how to take a medium men's sweater, stitch it and stuff it (with two flat pillows) to make a comfy & cozy bed for Gepetto, our favourite lap dog. Ever since he got this bed, h...
Road trip: Jollibee breakfast and Baguio City day trip, then arrive in Sagada Mountain province at night for street BBQ & souvenir shop. Rock Inn & Cafe Hotel, we used the loft beds. Echo Valley & The Hanging Coffins. Sumaguing Underground Caving, recommend the longer 3 hour tour, bring a LED flash-light and headlamp. Amazing cave experience with waterfalls inside! Sagada Mountain Province, 12 hrs drive north of Manila. Great hiking, spelunking (caving), and outdoor activities. A few hours travel further and you can see the Banaue Rice Terraces. Sagada is generally cheaper for food, shopping, and you can easily walk around or get a Jeepney / taxi as its a small town. Being a mountain region the climate is cold for a tropical country, so bring a rain jacket and sweater. Locals can be reserv...
This video has a TON of fun stuff in it! We make a great basic card using Stampin Up's Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder plus the Vintage Leaves stamp set with some Copper Foil Sheets and Embossing Powder. In addition I do a little experiment with creating a speckly background using embossing powder--the first one goes horribly wrong, but the second rocks! Check out the details and photos for these cards dimensions and supplies with links to buy on my blog post: http://www.thecreativitycave.com/my_weblog/2016/09/wwys-challenge-vintage-leaves.html

Ryan insists that the only way he and Grant will get through this thing is if they stick together. Grant tells him to forget it. When Ryan asks why Grant won't listen to him, Grant says maybe he's damn sick of Ryan's ideas. Ryan persists, though: not only are he and Grant alone and in the middle of arctic conditions, what happens if Grant runs across the guys who took Vicky? Grant insists he can take care of himself. Ryan tells Grant that when he gets like this, he sounds like Dad. Grant snidely asks Ryan which one. Ryan replies that that's a lousy thing to say. Grant doesn't know what he's saying anymore. All he wants is to get Vicky back and nothing else matters. Ryan reminds Grant that they both care about Vicky and they both want to find her. Grant says that Vicky is HIS wife, and HE w...
