Kathryn Bernardo

Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo (born 26 March 1996) is a Filipina actress. She is best known for her role as Mara in the primetime Filipino drama Mara Clara. Bernardo has been a contract artist of Star Magic and ABS-CBN since 2010 and most recently starred as Ana Bartolome in the 2011 drama film Way Back Home. She also played the protagonist Mikay in the primetime series Princess and I. Known as the "Teen Queen" of Philippine showbiz, FHM UK placed her on "The Top 10 Hottest Nations in the World" list, representing the country at fifth place alongside French-Filipina actress Solenn Heussaff in July 2014. She ranked #80 at TC Candler's Most Beautiful Faces 2016.

Personal life

Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo was born on 26 March 1996 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She is the youngest of four children and the daughter of Teodore C. Bernardo and Luzviminda M. Bernardo.

Education

Bernardo studied at OB Montessori Center Inc. before her acting debut in 2003. She was home schooled, and currently attends Enderun Colleges, Taguig, where she studies marketing.

Elmo Magalona

Elmo Magalona (born 27 April 1994, Manila) is a Filipino actor and singer. He is currently an artist of ABS-CBN and Star Magic. He is the child of Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona.

Biography

2009–2011: Early career

Magalona's first appearance on the Pinoy hiphop/rock scene was when he was six months old being featured on the cover of FreeMan. He reappeared on his father's album five years later on FreeMan 2. Magalona appeared in a noodle commercial called "Lucky Me Supreme" along with his father. He appeared as a young drummer in Kjwan's music video, "One Look".

In 2010, Magalona joined the cast of the GMA's television pilot Bantatay as a series regular. He also appeared in the fantasy series Kaya ng Powers in a recurring role.

In 2011, the young actor-rapper, together with fellow artist Sam Concepcion, performed as the front act in Miley Cyrus' concert in SM Mall of Asia concert grounds. In the same year, he was launched as a movie star in Tween Hearts: Class of 2012.

Daniel Padilla

Daniel John Ford Padilla (born April 26, 1995) is a Filipino actor and recording artist/bassist of the band, Parking 5. He is a talent of ABS-CBN and Star Magic and was chosen as one of the Original Pilipino Music Junior Ambassadors in promoting local music to the Filipino youth.

Daniel John Ford Padilla was born on April 26, 1995 in Manila, Philippines. He is the son of actors Rommel Padilla and Karla Estrada. Daniel is also the nephew of action star Robin Padilla and Rustom Padilla, better known as "BB Gandanghari".

Career

2010–11

Padilla's first acting stunt was in 2010, when he starred in a minor role in Gimik 2010, a remake of the hit 1990s Filipino youth-oriented show and was paired with Julia Montes. He was also cast as Patrick Rivero in another youth-oriented show titled Growing Up. He reportedly replaced Albie Casiño (who was Kathryn Bernardo's leading man in Mara Clara) for that role.

2011–present

After two consecutive Sunday youth-oriented shows, Padilla finally landed a role in a prime-time television series in Princess And I. He played Gerald Antonio "Gino" dela Rosa or Dasho Yuan Rinpoche, a character whom he describes as "a swaggering rich kid who will change and sacrifice a lot for the sake of love". The romantic-comedy royalty-themed series did well in the ratings, having reached the 40% mark and placed second behind Walang Hanggan.
