Why doesn't Saab make cars anymore, and what led to their end? This is a question I've been thinking about a lot recently, and I thought I'd throw together a short video trying to give some reasons that led to it. This 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero is a mostly stock example driven daily by its owner all over the US. It features a 2.3L Turbocharged Four-Cylinder engine with a manual transmission. Its mild upgrade list includes EBC Brake Rotors and Pads, Bilstein Rear and Sachs front struts, and BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2 Tires. It is a well-mannered cruiser that would make quite the comfortable daily driver or road tripper.

I start off by removing the "hot air intake" on the saab in favor to hopefully gain a few more MPG! I also cleaned up the front of it by deleting the front marker lights in the bumper with the euro spec delete trim pieces and then blacked out the grill with some satin black spray paint!
David pulled in the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 project that he has had for a while ( has a rod knock ). He bought a wrecked one that he is using for a donor car to get the other one back on the road!
Also installed a car seat in the DAD WAGON and talk a bit about the slipping clutch from the torque of that SAAB 2.8t!

In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero. Released as a late 2010 model, the 2011 now boasts a panoramic glass roof along with the great redesign. Overall makes the car have a much more stately appearance and further set it in a more sport/luxury sedan class. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

We love the idea of modified Saab's, and this Viggen is one of the coolest we've seen. Modified by 19-year old Cullen, it's got different cams, full bolt on's, and suspension upgrades. It sounds really neat and reminds us why we love oddballs.

This 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero is a mostly stock example driven daily by its owner all over the US. It features a 2.3L Turbocharged Four-Cylinder engine with a manual transmission. Its mild upgrade list includes EBC Brake Rotors and Pads, Bilstein Rear and Sachs front struts, and BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2 Tires. It is a well-mannered cruiser that would make quite the comfortable daily driver or road tripper.

I start off by removing the "hot air intake" on the saab in favor to hopefully gain a few more MPG! I also cleaned up the front of it by deleting the front marker lights in the bumper with the euro spec delete trim pieces and then blacked out the grill with some satin black spray paint!
David pulled in the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 project that he has had for a while ( has a rod knock ). He bought a wrecked one that he is using for a donor car to get the other one back on the road!
Also installed a car seat in the DAD WAGON and talk a bit about the slipping clutch from the torque of that SAAB 2.8t!
