Dracula is an 1897 Gothic horror novel by Irish author Bram Stoker.
Famous for introducing the character of the vampire Count Dracula, the novel tells the story of Dracula's attempt to move from Transylvania to England so he may find new blood and spread the undead curse, and the battle between Dracula and a small group of men and women led by Professor Abraham Van Helsing.
Dracula has been assigned to many literary genres including vampire literature, horror fiction, the gothic novel and invasion literature. Although Stoker did not invent the vampire, he defined its modern form, and the novel has spawned numerous theatrical, film and television interpretations.
The story is told in epistolary format, as a series of letters, diary entries, and ships' log entries, whose narrators are the novel's protagonists, and occasionally supplemented with newspaper clippings relating events not directly witnessed. The events portrayed in the novel take place chronologically and largely in England and Transylvania during the 1890s and all transpire within the same year between the 3rd of May and the 6th of November. A short note is located at the end of the final chapter written 7 years after the events outlined in the novel.
Unknown or The Unknown may refer to:
Dracula Untold is a 2014 American dark fantasy action horror film directed by Gary Shore in his feature film debut and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Rather than focus on Irish novelist Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, the film creates an origin story for its title character, Count Dracula, by re-imagining the story of Vlad the Impaler. Luke Evans portrays the title character, and Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, Art Parkinson, and Charles Dance appear in supporting roles.
Principal photography began on August 5, 2013, in Northern Ireland. Universal Pictures released the film on October 10, 2014, in cinemas and IMAX. Universal intends the film to be a reboot of the Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe.
Despite mixed critical reviews, with praise towards Luke Evans's performance and the story, and criticism directed at the characterization, Dracula Untold was a box office success grossing $217 million worldwide.

Note about the crazy subtitles: After a deaf person officially complained to YouTube, I was ordered to include them or I would have a strike against me. However, I had no idea how to add them and used YouTube's own automatic subtitle programme with hillarious results. You can turn them off easily. But, I suggest you try to watch with some weed. Enjoy! This is the story of how Vlad the Impaler finally became the world famous Vampire, Count Dracula. Here, Vlad must first fight a bloody battle in order to regain his kingdom. Starring Rudolf Martin and Jane March, with Peter Weller and Roger Daltrey.
From Wikipedia: Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (translated as Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror; or simply Nosferatu) is a 1922 German Expressionist horror film, directed by F. W. Murnau, starring Max Schreck as the vampire Count Orlok. The film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel (for instance, "vampire" became "Nosferatu" and "Count Dracula" became "Count Orlok"). Stoker's heirs sued over the adaptation, and a court ruling ordered that all copies of the film be destroyed. However, a few prints of Nosferatu survived, and the film came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema. As of 2015, it is Rotten Tomatoes' second b...

In order to authenticate some historical papers in a cathedral town, Oxbridge academic Anderson stays at a local hotel in room 12, initially disregarding the lack of a number 13 as provincial superstition. During the night, noise conspires to keep him awake and the historian is astonished to come face to face with door number 13. Continuing his work, a history of a reformation era witchcraft scandal emerges. The nocturnal disturbances escalate, leading Anderson with no choice but to open the door to room number 13... One of the greatest adaptations of Bram's Stoker's classic novel, Dracula, Nosferatu is still as haunting and disturbing as it was in 1922. Presented here is the Kino restoration with accurate tinting, delicate clean-up, and a new score. English subtitles included. Wiki: The film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel: for instance, "vampire" became "Nosferatu" and "Count Dracula" became "Count Orlok".
A walkthrough of a somewhat unknown game for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (at least I didn't find too many videos of it). It often gets bashed in reviews, but to me it is one of the better SMD games. At the very least some certain developers could learn much from Warlock. I like the creepy atmosphere of some places in this game and I especially like the castle. The music is good too: my favorite tracks are miniboss theme (usually plays when you fight living armors in castle), cemetery theme and the demon battle/final boss theme. The game is based on the movie "Warlock 2" and if you've never seen any of Warlock movies, I recommend to watch them (at least 1&2 and especially the first one) if you're a horror fan. The whole playthrough may be quite long, but that's the best I could do, considerin...
