Buckwild

Anthony Best (better known by his stage name Buckwild) is an American hip hop producer from The Bronx borough of New York City. He is a member of Diggin' in the Crates Crew along with Lord Finesse, Showbiz and A.G., Diamond D, Fat Joe, Big L, and O.C. He has produced a number of tracks, including The Notorious B.I.G.'s "I Got a Story to Tell" and Black Rob's "Whoa!". In 2013, he was described by HipHopDX as "one of Hip Hop's most prolific and acclaimed producers".

In 2010, Buckwild released Nineteen Ninety Now, a collaborative album with Celph Titled. In 2014, he released a collaborative album with Meyhem Lauren, entitled Silk Pyramids.

Buckwild (TV series)

Buckwild is an American reality television series on MTV that debuted on January 3, 2013, and concluded on February 7, 2013.

Premise

Buckwild follows the lives of nine young adults in Charleston, West Virginia and nearby Sissonville who create their own unique ways to enjoy life in the rural area surrounding them.

Production

On November 18, 2011, MTV announced they had picked up the series for a twelve episode first season. The series was originally planned for a 2012 premiere. MTV remained dormant on releasing news about the series for over a year until November 29, 2012, when MTV announced the series would premiere on January 3, 2013, and feature two weekly half-an-hour back-to-back episodes with twelve episodes total. It was announced on February 6, 2013, that Buckwild will be returning for a second season.

TMZ

TMZ is a celebrity news website that debuted on November 8, 2005. It was a collaboration between AOL and Telepictures Productions, a division of Warner Bros., until Time Warner divested AOL in 2009. The name TMZ stands for thirty-mile zone, the historic "studio zone" within a 30-mile (50 km) radius centered at the intersection of West Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

TMZ's managing editor is Harvey Levin, a lawyer-turned-journalist who was previously a legal expert for the Los Angeles television station KCBS-TV. The site claims that it does not pay for stories or interviews; however, Levin has admitted that TMZ does "sometimes pay sources for leads on stories". Levin has stated that "everything is researched and vetted for accuracy." A companion television series, TMZ on TV, debuted on September 10, 2007.

Development

Seven months prior to the official launch of TMZ, America Online (AOL) had hinted that it was planning to launch a Hollywood and entertainment-centric news site that would be produced in conjunction with Telepictures Productions and had shown interest in launching a website featuring a focus mainly on celebrities. At the time of the launch, AOL confirmed that the site would primarily feature and consist of Hollywood gossip, including interviews, photos and video footage of celebrities and information pertaining to industry news on movies, television shows, etc. The site was described as "an effort to further feed the current American obsession with celebrities". Mike Shields of MediaWeek.com wrote, "the site also boasts of an expansive collection of archived star photos and videos", allowing fans to "trace changing hairlines and waistlines of their favorites performers over the years".

West Virginia

West Virginia ⁱ/ˌwɛst vərˈdʒɪnjə/ is a state located in the Appalachian region of the Southern United States. It is bordered by Virginia to the southeast, Kentucky to the southwest, Ohio to the northwest, Pennsylvania to the north (and, slightly, east), and Maryland to the northeast. West Virginia was the only state to form by separating from a Confederate state, the first to separate from any state since Maine separated from Massachusetts, and was one of two states formed during the American Civil War (the other being Nevada, which separated from Utah Territory).

Buck Wild

Buck Wild is a zombie comedy horror film directed by Tyler Glodt, written by Glodt and producer Matthew Albrecht, and starring Albrecht, Jarrod Pistilli, Dru Lockwood, and Isaac Harrison as four friends who must faced zombies on their hunting trip in rural Texas. It premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival in April 2013. The film was shot in 2011 in Goliad County, Texas, United States.Buck Wild won the Best of the Fest award at the Hill Country Film Festival in May 2013.

Plot

When their originally planned outing is cancelled, four friends go on a hunting trip in Texas. They include Craig, a straitlaced man; Jerry, a mysterious relative of Craig's from New York; Tom, a nerd; and Lance, a hedonist. When they arrive, they discover that a chupacabra has bitten their guide Clyde, and, unknown to all, he has begun to slowly turn into a zombie. As Clyde shows the friends their cabin, Lance and Candy, Clyde's daughter, make out in the next room. Clyde warns them not to cross onto the property of Billy Ray, a local gangster, and, discovering Lance and Candy, angrily leaves with his daughter. Later that night, Craig reveals that he intends to marry his girlfriend, and Lance behaves strangely; Jerry tells Craig that Lance and Craig's girlfriend have been having an affair, but Craig refuses to believe it.
