James Holden (born James Alexander Goodale Holden, 7 June 1979, Exeter, Devon, England) is a British electronic music artist and DJ.
Holden started his career in 1999, at age 19, when he released the trance single, "Horizons", which he created with the freeware software Buzz. After this he released numerous singles and remixes on different labels such as Lost Language, Perfecto Recordings, and Positiva Recordings. He was also one-third of Mainline, which was responsible for the double single of "Narcotic" and "Innerspace". He has also worked with singer Julie Thompson as Holden & Thompson. He grew up in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, before studying Mathematics at Oxford University.
Holden kicked off his record label Border Community with his own future single "A Break in the Clouds". From then on, he has released a string of remixes of everyone from Madonna and Britney Spears, through Depeche Mode and New Order, to Nathan Fake and Kieran Hebden and Steve Reid. In April 2006, his mix album James Holden at the Controls was Mixmag 's 'Album of the Month'.
In 2006, Holden released The Idiots are Winning, described by The Guardian as "the most astonishing debut in electronic music since Boards of Canada's Music Has the Right to Children."
Border Community kickstarted the careers of many young musicians, such as Nathan Fake, Fairmont and Holden. James Holden often performs alongside his labelmates at one of his Border Community label nights at Corsica Studios in London.

His atmospherically dense, busy tracks, oscillating between melancholy beauty and occasional disharmony, will surely appeal to fans of the old Warp Records IDM sound. Even though the weather gods weren't on our side on this particular morning, we set out for Norwich to pay Nathan a visit for this Slices feature on Electronic Beats TV. Indeed, this film shooting literally came within an inch of getting dunked, but that's another story altogether.

Nathan Fake
Nathan Fake is an English electronic music artist from Norfolk, who has released singles as well as three albums on the label Border Community Recordings.
In 2006, his debut album Drowning in a Sea of Love was released on Border Community. He released a six track mini-album Hard Islands in 2009. His third album Steam Days followed in 2012.
In 2014, Nathan founded the label Cambria Instruments with Wesley Matsell, the inaugural release being a split single between the two artists.

Holden
GM Holden Ltd, commonly known as Holden, is an Australian automaker that operates in Australasia and is headquartered in Port Melbourne, Victoria. The company was founded in 1856 as a saddlery manufacturer in South Australia. In 1908 it moved into the automotive field, before becoming a subsidiary of the United States-based General Motors (GM) in 1931. After becoming a subsidiary of GM, the company was named General Motors-Holden's Ltd, becoming Holden Ltd in 1998—the current name was adopted in 2005.
Holden is responsible for GM vehicle operations in Australasia, and on their behalf, held partial ownership of GM Daewoo in South Korea between 2002 and 2009. Holden has offered a broad range of locally produced vehicles, supplemented by imported GM models. Holden has offered the following badge engineered models in sharing arrangements: Chevrolet, Isuzu, Nissan, Opel, Suzuki, Toyota and Vauxhall Motors. As of 2013, the vehicle lineup consists of models from GM Korea, GM Thailand, GM in the US, and self-developed Commodore, Caprice, and Ute. Holden also distributed the European Opel brand in Australia in 2012 until the brand's Australian demise in mid-2013.

Always being keen on experimenting and 3 turntables mixing, to date Tony has played in many Italian clubs together with djs producers like James Holden, Ben Sims, Pig & Dan and many more. Producer since 2007, his tracks have been released on InMinimax Records, 303 Lovers, Prosthetic Pressings and have been reconized and played by Len Faki, DJ Spartaque, Chris Fortier, Umek, Matt Darey. Tony has also made the Beatport’s Techno Top Ten list several times. From year 2011 tony’s sound leave the by now techno scene for pass to the more worked Trance sound, the trip, and by the pseudonym “OffLabel” on Ovnimoon Records, it landings on the Psyco Trance Scene. In his sound, you can touch underground and evocative Cut , with melodies, chants and tribal contamination, breakdowns and atmospheres, it emanates pure energy and wellness; a mental and psychostimulant sound that it becomes the only one in it’s style!
