Plot: Michael Aiuto, a former US Marine is awakened by a single drop of water. It's 11 AM. He is in a bed in a 5 star hotel room in Amsterdam, however his girlfriend is nowhere to be found. He is a veteran of combat from Iraq and Afghanistan. It's his 27th birthday. He takes a shower and has a chat with the house keeper which did not see his girlfriend. He is informed that in the room directly above his someone committed suicide. He decides to go around town to the places where they used to hang out together. A mysterious note sends him in search of her, on a journey through the shady streets of Amsterdam, visiting the bar he had a scuffle with four Moroccan men the night before. He thinks that they might have something to do with her disappearance. The bartender as an option gives him a phone number of a weapons dealer just in case if Michael wanted to feel more safe. He decides to visit the Police Station, where he is informed by Inspector Van Dijk that unless the person is missing for 24 hours the police can't do anything about it. Being a retired soldier he decides to take matters in his own hands and buys a weapon form Athena. As night approaches he eventually catches up with the Moroccans and gets into another alteration with them. Due to the fact that there is just too many of them to fight with, he decides to not use the gun but to run back to the hotel. In the hotel he finds an empty lobby where he gets the master key. Being still chased by Moroccans he takes refuge in a random room 117. In it he discovers something that puts his reality into perspective and unveils the secret of '11' that began when Michael was just a boy.

Plot: Charing Cross tells the story of an old widower who lives in solitude in his old flat. He relies on medical care he receives from his oldest daughter. The only contact he has to the outside world are the people of the neighborhood he meets on his daily walk around his block. One day he passes by a bakery where he sees a girl in the shop window. He returns to the bakery every day to make contact with the girl but he finds out that she is mute/deaf. United by their loneliness the two very unlikely people start a friendship condemned by society. They are forced to find a different way of communication and soon realize that words are not necessary to express feelings.

He begrudgingly does so, with surprising results...from the audience and himself.
