Bobsleigh was a top speed of 125 km/h with 4-5 in the last turn.
Skeleton was 99,3 km/h (for me) and 2-3 G's in the last turn, making it just barely possible to keep your chin guard off the ice.

GoPro footage taken on-board my Thunder on Ice bobsled ride at the Whistler Sliding Centre. I'm the guy at the back of the sled, where--coincidentally--the G forces are the greatest. So.... 123 km/h top speed, 3-4 G's pressing down on us at one point (a real spine cruncher), and all in 41 seconds. This is actually a far better view of the ride than I had while doing it, as most of my view was obscured by the next person's helmet and the edges of the visor on my own. Either way, it was a real thrill ride, and it's exciting to watch this and get a different perspective on it. Wow!!!

So.... 123 km/h top speed, 3-4 G's pressing down on us at one point (a real spine cruncher), and all in 41 seconds. This is actually a far better view of the ride than I had while doing it, as most of my view was obscured by the next person's helmet and the edges of the visor on my own. Either way, it was a real thrill ride, and it's exciting to watch this and get a different perspective on it. Wow!!!

The Dream Homes crew took a road trip to Whistler to check out a contemporary ski-in/ski-out home located in Kadenwood, North America's only private gondola accessible neighbourhood! For the first time in over three years, the athletes belonging to the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF will be racing for points in the Whistler Sliding Centre on the ice track that hosted the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
