First Priority is a youth organization that supports student-initiated, student-led Christian clubs on middle school and high school campuses.
First Priority of America, Inc. supports local city FP movements in over 70 cities across the US.
First Priority Strategy was founded by Christian author and speaker Benny Proffitt and 11 other youth Pastors in the Fort Worth, TX area. The first city to take this strategy and follow it through to maturity is found in Birmingham, AL (approx 20 years old).
Audio Two were the Brooklyn, New York hip hop duo of emcee Kirk "Milk Dee" Robinson and DJ Nat "Gizmo" Robinson, most famous for its first hit, the classic "Top Billin'."
The duo’s debut single, "Make it Funky," was released in 1987, but it was the b-side, "Top Billin'," that hit, making not only the group instant stars but also making a deep cultural impact on hip hop. The beat — made by Milk Dee and produced by Daddy-O of Stetsasonic — and Milk Dee's lyrics would be sampled and referenced time and time again, even by the group itself: both the group's full-length debut, 1988's What More Can I Say? and its 1990 follow-up, I Don't Care: The Album, were titled after lines from the song. However, the duo would never recapture its initial success. The singles of its second album, "I Get the Papers" and "On the Road Again," were only moderate hits. It was a time of rapid change in the hip hop market; gangsta rap was rising in popularity, and Audio Two found itself unsuccessfully struggling to maintain recording contracts and a fanbase. A third album, First Dead Indian, due for release in 1992, was canceled before it was released even though it had an assigned catalog number. Because of its downfall, the duo disbanded.
Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4, 1969), known by his stage name Jay Z (formerly Jay-Z), is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and investor. Consistently ranked as one of the greatest rappers ever, he was ranked number one by MTV in their list of The Greatest MCs of All-Time in 2006. Three of his albums, Reasonable Doubt (1996), The Blueprint (2001), and The Black Album (2003), are considered landmarks in the genre with all of them featured in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
As an entrepreneur and investor, Jay Z co-owns the 40/40 Club, and is the co-creator of the clothing line Rocawear. He is the former president of Def Jam Recordings, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, and the founder of Roc Nation. He also founded the sports agency Roc Nation Sports and is a certified NBA and MLB sports agent. As an artist, he holds the record for most number one albums by a solo artist on the Billboard 200 with 13. Jay Z also has had four number ones on the Billboard Hot 100, one as lead artist. On December 11, 2009, Jay Z was ranked as the tenth-most successful artist of the 2000s by Billboard as well as the fifth top solo male artist and fourth top rapper behind Eminem, Nelly, and 50 Cent. He was also ranked the 88th greatest artist of all time by Rolling Stone.

"Top Billin'" is a single for American hip-hop duo Audio Two, released as the B-side of the single "Make It Funky" from the album What More Can I Say? It was released before First Priority Music inked a distribution deal with Atlantic Records. The song had a deep cultural impact on hip hop. The song was voted #8 in About.com's Top 100 Rap Songs. It was also included in both lists of the musical-reference book 1001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die: And 10,001 You Must Download.
A remake of "Top Billin'" was released in 1998, this time a duet between Milk Dee and MC Lyte, which appeared on her album Seven & Seven.

New York City school teacher Jamie Fidler discusses how Gotham Gazette's Parks Game helped her teach a classroom full of eager first-graders the ins and outs of the City park-planning process. As part of their Social Studies and Science program, Fidler uses the interactive game as a tool for education, offering a fun and engaging way for her students to understand just how beneficial a park can be for its community. Using the Gotham Gazette Parks Game, students are able to visualize their park design as it comes to life, watching as it updates with each choice they make. "Part of the difficulty [of the Parks Game] was negotiating what was going to be a priority," Fidler admits. The children then went on to create their own park plans, finalizing their ideas on colorfully decor...
Today we're going to look at rapper turned entrepreneur Jay Z and the top 3 lessons that you can learn from his success. Born Shawn Carter, he grew up in a housing project in Brooklyn. He was raised with his three siblings by his mother after his father abandoned them. He loved music and used to wake up his siblings by banging out beats on the kitchen table. She bought him a boom box for his birthday and he used it to freestyle and write lyrics. He was known as "Jazzy" in his neighbourhood, a name that eventually developed into "Jay Z." He started his singing career under a mentor, fellow rapper Jaz-O. He was featured on several of Jaz-O's early records and was involved in several rap battles with LL Cool J in the early '90s. Today he is worth over $500 million, is one of the most succ...

If planet earth is our mother,
then as an urban dweller in a concrete world
I feel as if I’m a wayward son.
If God’s our father we’re all brothers
- so if we don’t connect or we lose respect
all we’ve made will be undone.
Turn off the road and check the map.
Find out where I’m really at,
where I want and where I want to go.
Redirect my energy - be the man I want to be.
This is it this will be my first priority.
Without truth life’s a desert.
So I searched for souls that could console
and satisfy this blazing thirst.
With all I’ve learned I just can’t revert
to live a lie and justify. Inside I’d just die or burst.
To re-connect with my family.
My life’s goal my heart my soul.
