New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the United States' 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated state. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York City is a global city, exerting a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. The home of the United Nations Headquarters, New York City is an important center for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as the world's most economically powerful city. New York City makes up over 40% of the population of New York State. Two-thirds of the state's population lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, and nearly 40% live on Long Island. Both the state and New York City were named for the 17th century Duke of York, future King James II of England. The next four most populous cities in the state are Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, and Syracuse, while the state capital is Albany.
Electric bikes are extremely common in many parts of New York City and yet, certain types have been banned. This dates back to 2004 when gas powered kick scooters that could reach high speeds were becoming popular and a 19 year old young man died riding a gas powered pocket-rocket mini motorcycle cycle that hit a pothole. As a result of the noise, high speeds and even pollution caused by these unlicensed vehicles, the city passed a bill to ban certain types of motorized vehicles in the city. In more recent years as technology has changed, those older laws have become relevant to throttle operated electric bikes. These bikes are commonly used by delivery people in the city to quickly get food to customers because parking is expensive and traffic can be difficult. These imported illegal ebik...

While visiting Greenpath Electric Bikes in Brooklyn, New York I met a gentleman named Mark who had purchased one of the Sondors fat tire electric bikes and proceeded to outfit it with gear and accessories for his commute in the city. Mark has increased the range of the bike by adding larger batteries and he got help from the two local shops, Greenpath and Propel. His pannier bags contain different batteries (one 36 volt and one 48 volt configuration). His bike has custom yellow accents to help motorists see him and he wears a cool motorcycle helmet as he cruises around. Mark has owned the Sondors since its first release in 2015 and it’s still running strong. He added a Cycle Analyst ebike display from Grin Technologies, this panel improves control over the two batteries and to adjust speed...

Vacation travel video about destination New York City in New York. New York continues to be one of the world’s most famous cities, a true world metropolis and major symbol of the American Dream. Manhattan Island is the city’s most well known district and the Rockefeller Center in Midtown is often referred to as the heart of the New York. Nearby the Roman Catholic Saint Patrick´s Cathedral is the largest and most magnificent church in the United States. The Grand Central Terminal divides Park Avenue and is a huge station with which the railroad kings, the Venderbilts, left an indelible mark. The huge hall, with its magnificent vaulted ceiling in Beaux Arts style, has been the city’s central railway station for twelve lines since 1913. The confines of Chinatown are inhabited by a hundred a...

What a wild race. Started 8th row in 39th place. Finished in 24th place. So many crashes, so many close calls. Glad I kept it upright and avoided injury. Ideally I would've moved up more, but the restart sapped a lot of energy. Can't wait for the next stage in London! 48x14 WAS THE RATIO. One of my favourite things about NYC are the old historic bridges. I love how the city has made these bridges accessible to cyclists. My starting point was New York City Hall, and I ended the video at Continental Army Plaza in Brooklyn. Biking the Hudson River Greenway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCAUo0ye2yM Tacoma Narrows Bridge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFzu6CNtqec I used my Contour Roam 2 camera to shoot the action footage and recorded the audio with my Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone. New York City is a great bicycling city! I encourage you to explore the city on a bike if you ever visit. Please leave a comment and SUBSCRIBE. Thanks ...
Not dat fast. Basically attacked a few times to weed out the weaker riders, keep it fast for Trsitan Uhl, my teammate who got 1st. Wish I would've sent a BURNNNNNER on the last lap or so, but it's all good. Speed is off, didn't have my Garmin record it.

Totally Epic Ride! (at least for me, up until today my longest ride was 106 miles. This ride 130 miles (209km) over 7500 feet climbing, Bear Mountain alone is well over a 1000 feet of climbing spread out over 4.5 miles. *note that this ride was achieved now in my third year of eating a strict vegan diet. [Verse 1:]
Fresh to death she is, from her steps to her sex she is,
So death might not let me live, You dig, fresh, uh huh, yes she is,
Had a feelin?, that it would be a day like this,
The orchestra in my mind, don?t play like this.
Naw, but I?m prepared for it, got a little red for it,
Brushed off my airs, even cut my hair for it,
Cause normally I don?t care for it,
Don?t even be lookin? for life, like that, then there it go n
Yea, right over there, so I?m prepared to pour it,
A little scared my dear lord, momma said ?Have no fear.?
Plus I?m already out of my chair, got love my airs,
From my square and here forward,
It?s nothin? right, so here it go whisper in her ear,
Kinda crowded in here, wish you cared to blow it.
She said yeah.
[Chorus:]
You're My sunshine(You My sunshine)
(yea) You're My moonlight(You My moonlight)
You're the stormy skies above me
Won't you please come down and hug me
Think I've found love in this club, tonight
Oh, whoa
[Verse 2:]
Never met her before, but I think I like her like a metaphor,
It's hard to get, in tha car we sit,
From the intro, she rolled down her window,
Just incase I was a schitzo ,
I compliment her on the common sense,
I'm calm, a little more confident,
(Yea) uh huh, and then we lose consciousness,
She says that I've been waiting for you.
And I know you've been chasin' me too.
Since they kidnapped me from a castle, I've been thinkin' of you.
I told a fire breathing dragon He?d better not harm me, he?d be sorry,
When he meets my one man army.
And thou has come to rescue me,
My knight and shining armor, yes you be,
Woken up by the horn of an SUV,
I said 'See, too beautiful to let you sleep.?
[Chorus:]
You're My sunshine (You My sunshine)
You're my moonlight (You My moonlight)
You're the stormy skies above me,
Won't you please come down and hug me
Think I've found love in this club tonight
Oh, Whoa
[Verse 3:]
Relationship is just thirty minutes long,
It's kinda heavy, maybe a little strong,
Gon' take much more than once,
Can't trust what each of us say, at least for a month,
Or two, before I bid you a due,
Do this one thing for me,
Out of the trillions numbers that?s in the world, just leave me a few,
That lead to you, won't be long n, I'll see you in tha mornin'
[Chorus:]
You're my sunshine(You My sunshine)
You're my moonlight (You My moo'light)
You're the stormy skies above me
Won't you please come down and hug me
Think I've found love in this club tonight
