Board or Boards may refer to:
Boards of Canada (commonly abbreviated BoC) are a Scottish electronic music duo consisting of brothers Michael Sandison (born 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (born Marcus Eoin Sandison, 21 July 1971).
They have released several works on Warp Records with little advertising and few interviews, while also having an elusive and obscure back-catalogue of releases on their self-run Music70 label. They have also recorded at least four tracks under the alias of Hell Interface.
Growing up in a musical family, brothers Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin began playing instruments at a young age. They experimented with recording techniques at around the age of 10, using tape machines to layer cut-up samples of found sounds over compositions of their own.
In their teens they participated in a number of amateur bands. However, it was not until 1986 when Marcus was invited to Mike's band that Boards of Canada was born, naming themselves after the documentary TV films by the National Film Board of Canada that they watched as children. By 1989, the band had been reduced to Sandison and Eoin. In the early 1990s, a number of collaborations took place and the band put on small shows among the "Hexagon Sun" collective.

Canada (i/ˈkænədə/; French: [ka.na.da]) is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's border with the United States is the world's longest land border. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains; about four-fifths of the country's population of 35 million people live near the southern border. The majority of Canada has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer.
The land now called Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the Atlantic coast, with the first establishment of a region called "Canada" occurring in 1537. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost territories within British North America until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly geographically comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867, the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia joined to form the autonomous federal Dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the self-governing Dominion to the present ten provinces and three territories forming modern Canada. In 1931, Canada achieved near total independence from the United Kingdom with the Statute of Westminster 1931, and full sovereignty was attained when the Canada Act 1982 removed the last remaining ties of legal dependence on the British parliament.
Boc Maxima was released by Boards of Canada on Music70 in 1996. This is prior to their more public releases on Skam Records and Warp Records. Many of Boc Maxima songs were reused in 1998's Music Has the Right to Children. Boc Maxima was broadcast in full on Disengage in 2002.
Some songs have minor differences. The speech on "One Very Important Thought" differs between the two releases, as does the name of the song "Boc Maxima", renamed "Bocuma" for Music Has the Right to Children. That is because the original version of "One Very Important Thought" was taken directly from the ending of the 1982 pornographic film A Brief Affair, while the version on Music Has the Right to Children has been re-recorded with a reference to Boards of Canada inserted. The original speech was spoken by Lisa DeLeeuw, while the Music Has the Right to Children version was re-recorded by a soundalike - this may have been due to DeLeeuw's alleged death from AIDS in 1993 (she was, in fact, still alive). The song "Timeless" by John Abercrombie used in the background of the original speech can be faintly heard in the background as the song fades out.
Tomorrow's Harvest is the fourth studio album by the Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada, released on 5 June 2013 on Warp. Band members Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin began composing and recording the album following the release of The Campfire Headphase (2005) and the expansion of their studio at Hexagon Sun near Pentland Hills. The duo continued recording intermittently until late 2012, when large parts of the album were recorded. Influenced by film soundtracks from the 1970s, Tomorrow's Harvest features a more downtempo form of ambient music, similar to Boards of Canada's earlier releases.
Tomorrow's Harvest's announcement was surrounded by a cryptic marketing campaign that began on Record Store Day 2013 with the release of an unannounced non-album single, "------ / ------ / ------ / XXXXXX / ------ / ------", which featured part of an unidentified code. A further five codes were released interim through various media and culminated in users gaining access to a new website containing information about the upcoming release. Tomorrow's Harvest was the first new music released by Boards of Canada in seven years, since Trans Canada Highway (2006). Upon its release, the album received critical acclaim and high international chart placings.

Geogaddi is the second album by Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada, released in February 2002. It has a darker sound than its predecessor, Music Has the Right to Children. The founders at Boosted Boards wanted a more engaging video to launch their Kickstarter campaign. After meeting with them we quickly fell in love with their product. Our aim was to simply go beyond what others had done on Kickstarter in terms of storytelling. After a two-day shoot we went into post, added a few pickups and delivered what you see here. Something we hope illustrates the value of the Boosted experience and how good story can support new and innovative products. For more information on Boosted Boards, visit boostedboards.com, and support them on Kickstarter!

You spit fire from behind that darkened screen. Protected by the encryption of anonymity. You're the man you dreamed that you could, that you would, you would someday be. The picture of your greatest failure is so clear to see. A man full of his own insecurities. You don't deserve a song that is any longer than
