An icon of the ’90s and early aughts, R&B singer Ginuwine has fallen relatively silent when it comes to new music in recent years, though fans may have spotted him making cameos on the comedy series “Parks and Recreation.”

But the 46-year-old platinum-selling hit maker is still performing and will be in San Francisco at the Mezzanine on Friday, June 16. His show is part of the venue’s “The Max” series, a monthly event featuring the best of 1990s R&B, hip-hop and pop music, with occasional guest performers of the era.

Ginuwine’s performance will be accompanied by a full band and is to be preceded by a set from the younger R&B singer Karlos Farrar.
