Dennis Mark Prager (/ˈpreɪɡər/; born August 2, 1948) is an American politically conservative nationally syndicated radio talk show host, columnist, author, and public speaker.
Prager was born to modern Orthodox Jewish parents. He attended Yeshiva of Flatbush in Brooklyn, New York. There, in the 10th grade, he met Joseph Telushkin. The two became close friends and would later co-author two books. He went on to attend Brooklyn College and graduated with a double major in anthropology and history. Between 1970–72, he attended the Middle East and Russian Institutes (now Harriman Institute) at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. Prager also studied international history, comparative religion, and Arabic at the University of Leeds.
Prager left Columbia University without finishing his MA degree and decided to write an introduction to Judaism with his friend Joseph Telushkin. The Nine Questions People Ask About Judaism was published in 1976 and became a bestseller, popular in all major American Jewish movements. The book was intended for the nonobservant Jews. Unlike Telushkin, who became an Orthodox rabbi, Prager abandoned his Orthodoxy as an adult although he continues to maintain many traditional Jewish practices.
Dennis or Denis is a first or last name from the Greco-Roman name Dionysius, via one of the Christian saints named Dionysius.
The name came from Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, which is sometimes said to be derived from the Greek Dios (Διός, "of Zeus") and Nysos or Nysa (Νῦσα), where the young god was raised. Dionysus (or Dionysos; also known as Bacchus in Roman mythology and associated with the Italic Liber), the Thracian god of wine, represents not only the intoxicating power of wine, but also its social and beneficent influences. He is viewed as the promoter of civilization, a lawgiver, and lover of peace — as well as the patron deity of both agriculture and the theater.
Dionysus is a god of mystery religious rites, such as those practiced in honor of Demeter and Persephone at Eleusis near Athens. In the Thracian mysteries, he wears the "bassaris" or fox-skin, symbolizing new life. (See also Maenads.)
A mediaeval Latinised form of the Anglo-Norman surname Le Denys was Dacus, which correctly meant Dacian, but when the Vikings were about was often used to mean "Danish" or "The Dane". The name became modernised as Denys, then later as Dennis.
Benjamin Aaron "Ben" Shapiro (born January 15, 1984) is an American conservative political commentator, columnist, author, radio talk show host, and attorney.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Shapiro graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and Harvard Law School. He has written six books, the first of which was 2004's Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America's Youth, written when he was 17 years old. He currently writes a column for Creators Syndicate and is editor-in-chief at The Daily Wire and editor-at-large for Breitbart News Network. He is the co-founder and former editor-in-chief of the media watchdog group TruthRevolt.
Shapiro was born in Los Angeles, California. Skipping two grades (third and ninth), Shapiro switched between public and private elementary schools. Shapiro graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2004 and graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2007.
America is in jeopardy. Not from external enemies, but from elites in the media, academia and Hollywood who hold America in contempt. Can we win this war of ideas? Yes, but it won't be easy. Dennis Prager explains. DONATE today to PragerU: https://donate.prageru.com/checkout/donation?eid=105725

Quando o assunto é aborto, a questão mais debatida em nossa sociedade é se o aborto deve ou não ser legalizado. Porém, tão importante quanto a questão legal, é a questão moral do aborto. Tradução: Renan Poço Revisão: Hugo Silver Many thanks to Prager University! http://www.PragerU.com T...
Here are some thoughts about spoiled brats and lies from the left. A great 12-minutes detailing how the left can just say stuff and is never held responsible for it let alone have to apologize for – because they are never held to even a modicum of decency in opinion. __________________________________ For more clear thinking like this from Dennis Prager... This is a slightly truncated edit of the entire three hours of Dennis Prager's 2016 Presidential Debate review. I edited out all calls but one. I think this is the best review of the debate... it made me rethink my position on the outcome. This is where Dennis shines. Likewise, I excerpted some of this larger portion into specific topics: ➤ Dennis Prager on Hillary's Quasi Fascism (https://youtu.be/QB0F1cZC4WI) ➤ Prager Reacts To Hillary's "Sexist" Charge (https://youtu.be/99NhNXq-mNo) ________________________ For more clear thinking like this from Dennis Prager... Larry Elder was interviewed by Dennis Prager and the discussion went -- naturally -- to Baltimore and the foundational issues. It is NOT black and white, but left v. right. As only Larry can, he dismantles the Left's racial rhetoric... quote-by-quote. _______________________________ Listen To Larry On-Line at CRN-Talk Radio: ➤ http://crntalk.com/shows/1144-the-larry-elder-show For more clear thinking like this from Larry Elder... This interview is in relation to Ed's new book, "Guilty as Sin: Uncovering New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Derailed the FBI Investigation" (https://www.amazon.com/Guilty-Sin-Uncovering-Corruption-Investigation/dp/1621576418/). Prager gets right to the book and it's content. A great interview to say the least and it sheds some light on the FBI debacle. _____________________________ For more clear thinking like this from Dennis Prager...
